Technology you hate
Yeah, I haven't had one for years (they are really a student ready-meal facilitator). I have been tempted recently because they are necessary to heat this one desert I like (chocolate pudding), and also I can see the benefit in steaming in a microwave oven, too. PS You did mean the ovens, right? Not just EMR of a wavelength greater than 1mm and less than 30cm ... <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Yes, i meant the microwave ovens.

Liberal baby bust
Children are most likely to get their beliefs from their parents and they personalities/interests from their friends. I'm not worrying about it, the information is out there if they ever want to reach for it. Sometimes all it takes is recognition. With sciences, public schools, college becoming more popular, and the information age here, its going to be hard to have a narrow mind. Philosophy will die when the curious mind dies. I can't see that coming anytime soon.

Geforce 7900 out now!
I think there is an exception to this. I think its safe to say you can get the newest most expenisive video card out if its the last one there'll be. Take the agp for instance. If you must upgrade, you might as well get the BEST card out there to last you awhile before you have to upgrade your ENTIRE pc again because of the transition to PCI 16 I have AGP, and the 7800GS isn't that much better then the 6800GT, and I'm not about to upgrade my ENTIRE system to play one game. Ill wait till the unreal 3.0 engine is out, Duke Nukem 4forever, Longest Journey, Halflife expansions, ect... which will all be out this winter supposedly, after which i will build the greatest conceivable machine known to MANKIND! Warning: Duke nukem is subject to change its dates release and so it will be that i will not wait till this comes out. EDIT: Bokishi, your rich, how about you buy me a custom 7900GTX AGP card! I'd love you for it!

TSL Restoration Project: The Phantom Deadline
That would be amazing, but then it might get in the way of a possible addition to KoTOR. I wonder if the next game might mention something like that.... "

TSL Restoration Project: The Phantom Deadline
Ahh the academy, i remember mowing all those evil does down so easily. that level began to get repetitive without anything but sith students trying to kill you and scion. I wish there more PDA's with story elements around and that the inventory wasn't set to shuffle, so that we could get special stuff in special cases. I remember killing bosses and getting lousy bombs.

Slowly but surely...
Specs don't upgrade faster. Moore's Law has still been doing its thing. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Actually I believe it was last year when it finally failed, but it had a good run! EDIT: I agree with battlecookies first sentence below

Its all in the timing, budget and parts you get. If you juggle all of those succefully youll be on your way to gaming greatness. With options to take into considerations such as price drops, release dates, DirectX10, all these new storage devices and other new technologies, you must keep all into conscious when deciding your parts. The case and motherboard being the last thing you want to upgrade, id make sure to get the most future proof motherboard possible first and foremost. SLI compatible that will handle future CPUs and hold enough pci cards, and hardrives. You might also want to decide to overclock your parts to get that extra bit of performance. Water cooling might be a good idea.

Why you don't take a power saw to your PC case...
I remember when I got my first SATA cable Harddrives. I couldn't get the damn thing to recognize it, sent me crazy! I had to take my own computer that I built to a shop, oh the humiliation. And all i needed to do was to go into cmos and change it a setting.

That sucks! I was tempted to upgrade mine, but Im impatiently waiting till next winter. I want a machine that will be able to crush the upcoming Unreal engine.

Will this mod be compatioble with the high res patches. Will this mod come as one big patch that installs itself after downloading? Thanks for your time, and hard work.

I wouldn't worry to much about waiting to get a case, I always tend to get that and the motherboard farily soon so i can start to get a vision. saving the graphic card then the CPU for last since they are the 2 most expensive, and fast changing. 4 gigs is excessive i believe. A game like fear uses just over 1 gig. a I'd stick to 2gigs for now, and when need be, upgrade to 4, i doubt even Unreal tournament will use 4, much less 3. Also, instead of getting an All In Wonder video card you might look at getting the ATI pci video tuner card instead, that way you keep that card for your next upgrade, thus saving you money on your next purchase for a video card. It only cost 80 bucks i believe. Agiea is coming out with its physic cards soon also. I wouldn't reccoment getting one just yet, Id wait to see if its worth it with benchmarks. But its something to watch.

Poltical question
Exactly! :D You become a tool when you unconsciously vote for something liberal, or conservative, ect without know the specifics. Just because you supposedly belong to that party, doesn't mean you agree with EVERYTHING that party says. Its nice to have a wider lends, i agree Mothman.

Poltical question
Do not watch tv news, its poisonous. I wouldn't even call it news, more like crap. Its worse then the tabloids because its suppose to be accurate. BBC, Democracy now, and NPR are my choices on the radio, or internet. EDIT: anybody know any other great sources for news?

The best you can do for flying is just throwing the ****ing monitor out the damn window, then spit on it, and give it the middle finger. Then you can walk outside with a sledge hammer and beat the4 **** out of it for 20 minutes while listening to heavy metal.
