I'm playing that with the official expansions and plugins. I've had many technical problems thus far due to glitches in the game.

Very very nice. I take it your going to run vista? I have virtually the same machine essentially except i only have 2 gigs of OCZ mem and a 7900GTO. Let me recommend that you use only SATA products so you wont have to use the JMicron chip that controls the legacy eide/pata/ide atapi stuff. Its been known to have issues when at first configuring it. But you seem capable either way.

It doesn't look like there will be a PC version out any time soon.

I'm trying to play the expansion paqrt of oblivion now that i finished most of the other quests but i seem to have a problem. I cant enter the "strange door", even after the guy came out crazy and the soldier slaughtered him. No matter how long i wait. One problem, after another with this game. Am i just missing something people?

I thought Pitch black and The Chronicals were both entertaining. But i was entertained more by the game. Excellent game, i was very surprised. They had a great engine and gameplay, the story was decent too. if i hear similar things about it I'll get the new game too.

Not me, but the guy obviously has taste! I found out that i have to stand on the other side of the alter/tome to make a black sould gem, LAME!

Oblivion. I've been going to the shrines and I've done all the quests for them except i one. The one where you need the black soul gem to give to the deadre god. I can't seemto create a black soul gem. I wait till the purple light shines down on the tome. I put a grandsoul gem in it and them i do a soul trap spell and nothing! What am i doing wrong?

How did you tweak your machine to get it higher then it already was? Overclock it more? I fixed my oblivion save game problem AGAIN, i had to go back about 10 saved games to find an uncorrupted one. I'm doing "the big heist" seems pretty cool so far. But im going to have to say the Dark Brotherhood missions were the AWESOME though. The twist was a total shocker to me. Great story telling!

I've been dealing with Oblivion. Dealing because of its many bugs, and sensitivity to how you save a game apparently. Hmmm, whats worse, VTM:Bloodlines, or Oblivion bug wise...

I saw Babel last night. I didn't catch a theme, i recognized a lot of consistencies but i could not tie them together... I also rented Appleseed, and Johnny Mnemonic, which i will see those later tonight.

I had a ati 9600 pro, best quality card i ever bought. Played all games without crashes, and better quality. I remember getting my 6800 GT and loading up kotor 1 and enting Telos. The ships didn't shine the same way, it was dull. It ran with the same frame rates too. Fast forward to now, and i have a 7900GT. Nvidia card drivers are screwing up my Oblivion game. I can't get it to run straight, while ati isn't effected by this bug a bit. Bug after bug with nvidia I've encountered. before this oblivion bug issue was the Fear issue, i couldn't get it to run smooth at its LOWEST settings even though i still had a pretty UBER machine. sigh. Give me a damn xbox already.

Whatever it is that might not be grounded is beyond me. The screws are all tight, i remember double checking them as i was installing it. hmm. I'm still baffled by this. Well Ill keep looking into and also double check everything in my case again, screws, cords, organize. Maybe I should take it all out and do it again. That way i can put cords underneath my motherboard to further the cable management like Bok did.
