The Aurora is an awesome case with some draw backs. I hate the locking mechanism for the drive bays, basically you have to slide the drive in there and press forward. Well That didn't work for my Scythe three 5.25 Kama Bay drive (front fan), I ended up taking the mechanism out, and screwing the left side of the Scythe Kama bay drive leaving the other side to be a little loose still, so i Added some rubber to hold it firmly in place. Also the pci slot lock, that holds the pci cards in place so you don't have to screw them is also crap. But thankfully they left screw holes so that i had another choice, unlike the drive bay lock. The pci lock wasn't compatible with my graphic card, the metal bar that runs along my XFX thats labeled just that protrudes, and the lock can't come down, thus makign it worthless. Other then those 2 qualms, its a great case, i love the solid construction, the drive bay door is solid aluminum, when you shut it closed, it stays closed by magnetic force. The drive rail can come out and be adjusted. It comes with a mesh side grill and an option acrylic side window, the one i use. Also it has USB, Firewire, and mic/headphone jacks up front. As for the power button, it works just fine, it doesn't stick at all, but it is a bit looser then others, but that is the way its designed, i like it, it also lights up, like the rest of my case... I should take a picture with my case all lit up. The outside of the case has nicely rounded edges, but inside they did a so-so job. My Old old, antec that was the same size roughly but all steel, was twice as heavy. As for the 830 Cooler Master Stacker you found at COMPUSA, i would inspect if first to see if it is fixable, and that you can get all the parts. You can get cooler master side panels online, and other accessories for it, but some stuff cannot be replaced, at least not easily.

>_< Tech problems can be hell huh? See any capacitators that look like this? ah, there could be many things wrong with your motherboard. But have you tried unplugging everything, and hooking it all back together? For instance After i was all done, and had my computer on all day, the next day i went to turn it on and... Nothing, all it was was a unfastened main power connector. You probably already checked this. The best solution is always to grab your computer, one hand on the front of the case the second on the back, open the nearest window(but the second floor is recommended), and twirl a couple times to get some momentum and let her fly! hahah!! 11!1!!!

AGP Is an endangered species, PCIE has a bigger bandwidth, newer, and the standard- Get PCIE. Nvidia is about to releace their 8600 cards, your probably looking at a 8600GT for $200 bucks. ATI is also going to release their new cards within the month i believe, could be wrong. ou could always wait to and look at the benchmarks. I checked your asrock motherboard out, its PCIE slot is only good for 8X it looks like, the current standard is 16X, and it does make a difference if your going to play graphic intensive games. GIGABYTE GA-965P-DS3 LGA 775 Intel P965 $122 - This one is much more expensive but the reviews have only been excellent.

Thats just because I have the desktop set to LARGE ICONS in the settings.

I'd recommend a new resolution. Why is that?

I just did that, nada. no luck thus far. I really have tried everything i can think of. I even disabled the USB and IDE light that are located near the Headphone and mic jack. this is really weird.

I built my new PC, Everything works perfect except this damn sound issue I'm having. My Asus Commando motherboard came with detachable onboard sound that resembles a PCIE slot, i had it set up and plugged in my front header "HD Audio" headphone/mic plug into the connector inside my case on the detachable card. I plugged in my headphones and i hear sound I'm suppose to, but also a faint hissing noise. theres no hissing noise when i plug my headphones in the back of my case though for the speakers. The Hissing noise happens with i change a window, or drag a window, or even when i move my mouse. It changes its pitch to depending on i don't know what. but its always pretty faint. I plugged in my other Plug other Audio Plug that my case came with a "AC 97" and its the same deal, i hear sound, but also the faint hissing. I took off the case front panel, and unplugged the wire to my front panel mic jack, and plugged it back in to see if it was a loose connection, nope, everything was fine, and it didn't fix my problem. Still hissing. So i bit the bullet and bought a Creative Labs Xfi XtremeGamer PCI sound card to solve the problem. I Detached the other sound card, disabled it in the bios, deleted all of its drivers/software, and installed my brand new Xfi! I plugged in the HD Audio plug in the the Xfi for my front header headphones and VOILA! I still get the hissing noise, along with the regular sound im suppose to get... I tried muting my LINE IN, MICROPHONE, and others, still hissing. What in the world is the hissing from. :( >_< >_<

GTA4!!!! GTA3 series kicked arse from start to finish, although vice city was my favorite because i thought it had more altogether humor. The next one looks like its a russian main character which should be a nice change. BioShock: Duke Nukem 4 Never: No comment needed Oblivion Shimmer Isles (ohh, maybe ill pick that up today!) 30hrs of gameplay, and now ill be able to enjoy it how it was menat to be played with my new computer.... I still need to name my computer, any suggestions? NWN2 ( I have it sitting on my desk, but i have to beat hitman: Blood money first) I heard this game wasn't very interactive though... KoTOR2 completed edition by Team Gizka: I've refused to play it again until this mod has come out. Alan wake look interesting, I'm curious how they will mix action with story... The next Unreal. I love Unreal Tournament 04, it kicks arse to this day! Anyone ever want to play against me online just add me to your bud list, my name is eNLight_2.0 Half Life 1 Source Mod: The guys behind this mod look like they know what they are doing! Half Life 2 episodes, Im waiting until they are all out, I played the first one and decided i don't like the episode idea, so im waiting till SIN and Half Life 2 episodes are completed..... That reminds me, i hear The Longest Journey Sequels are going to be episodes now meh! Crysis looks fun, the first game was amazing, they blew away the compition graphically, i couldn't believe a no name company catapulted into the mainstream that fast. The story was a little boring, monsters, monsters monsters, Im getting a bit tired of monsters that look like they belong in Doom 2. Are there any plans for another Vampire Masquarade game people? I loved the last one soooo much! Games Id with they would make: A real sequal to Quake 2, another Gabriel Knight game, police quest, any real sierra adventure games really just like the old days! another blood lines, KoTOR, Max Payne, Jedi Knight.

How hot do your graphic cards run? I tossed my Asus SoundMax sound card and replaced it with a Creative XFi Extreme Gamer. Fixed my buzzing problem. and hopefully i get a FPS boost too! EDIT: It took me since november to get all my pieces in order because of drawbacks.

Hitman: Blood money, I just got a silent assassin on the opera house level, a hoodlum in A New Life, and im on to the next.
-
Crystal Fontz, your display, looks really nice... does that take up 2 5.25 drive bays or just 1? Does it take anything special to install it? I probably shouldn't get one at all really. I only have 1 5.25 drive bay left, and thats where i tuck all of my extra wires. I would like something like that though...

Im playing Hitman: Bloodmoney I love how this game leaves so many possibilities to finish a hit! The graphics and music are really nice i think, and it runs smoooooth, the engine is well built. Unlike FEAR, I hate that engine with a passion!
