  1. Closest thing I got to a romance was Sion and hell, I'd take that just cause it'd be freaky. I don't even bother with romance, because you guys are right: female romances suck. We get stupid guys and it's even worse when you're Sith <_< Screw Atton and Disciple and all those other fluffy lightsider bs: gimme Candyman ^_^ But seriously, romance should also be dependant on your alignment. I could see Atton or Disciple if you're LS, but DS? No no and . . . NO! They really need to work on the female characters. In dialogue, in romance . . . everywhere. Guys get skimpy sluts and we get . . . boring goodie-goodies. (Anyone else notice that if you chose Revan as DSF, halfway through the game she's generally refered to as male?) Fix the female game. Stop screwing us over.
  2. . . . Er, if you want Fable, go play it? Perhaps? I'm teasing My ideas: more Sithiness!!!! No thongs, please. I mean, games aren't just for guys and some women are more than a grouping of holes. <_< Definately more lightsabre stuff. Like, actually building one perhaps, instead of just finding some pieces and having it do it automatically? I liked the idea . . . but perhaps a bit more with it . . . More open-endedness. Don't *have* to be one thing or the other. I don't like being forced to be Jedi u_u Definately more customising of characters. I was just thinking of this earlier today o_O Tattoos and stuff would be *awesome*. School! Jedi or Sith academy, like, enrolling or something, rising ranks in your respective teachings . . . more freeform? No more Sith=bully+credits and Jedi=spineless-credits. More dialogue choices. The ability to lie to your companions with more subtlety. Instead of "Are you okay" "I don't care" and "I hope you die" perhaps "[Lie]Are you okay" -- y'know, fooling them instead of letting them know right out that you're trying to use them but are unable to subvert their judgement and such because you don't get the option to be truly bad. The ability to romance anyone, not have auto-romances. I don't like any of the freaks I'm supposed to hook up with. They're so gah and goodie-goodie and just make my skin crawl. Candy/Mandalore is the only one I'd consider romancing and you don't even get the chance/option: why do the Jedi chicks get everything? They aren't even allowed emotions!! I dunno, I have more ideas somewhere . . . I might get around to remembering them or something . . .
  3. I found Dxun to be fastest, personally. Otherwise I couldn't get it done until like, Level 15, because I'd get it finished from Visas. On Dxun however, I would be able to build it by level 13-ish, which means I can use it against people from pretty much the start, rather than waiting . . . I dunno, guess it's how you play the game or something. *Shrugs*
  4. One way to get your own sabre is to fight Visas and use her broken sabre piece. But the way I do it (for two reasons) is go to Dxun. Why? Because with the mandalorians you get all your sabre bits before you hit level 15 (and get to use it -- I think I get mine at level 13 or something) and you get da Candyman n_n But yeah, if you do the mandalorian stuff first, you get your sabre stuff ASAP. At least, that's what I found the second time I played . . . and third . . .
  5. I found Malak the most difficult character, but Traya was the worst. She herself was easy, but those frickin' SABRES!!! If it wasn't for those sabres, Malak would have won. I kicked everyone elses butts though . . . Though yeah, Sherruk is pretty tough. What was the point of Darths Nihilus and Sion anyway?
  6. I just keep healing up and using insanity and such. I just did it a few hours ago with Visas, Bao-Dur and Disciple (who is actually DS now :D! I dunno how I did it, but Candy and Visas are like, one point each away from having DS mastery, but that's easy, but I corrupted EVERYONE else this time through!!! I'm SO happy ^_^) Sorry, I went off topic. Anyhoo, I just did it with them three, and it wasn't that bad. Though at the last part, against the three Sith doing the ritual, both Bao-Dur and Visas went down. O_o Somehow Disciple was able to finish off two Sith on his own O_O Just keep using advanced medpac and those red life thingies. (Can't remember the name *ish ashamed*) Alternate them with moves if you have to. Oh, and Visas should have Force Storm. Wipes out people and droids like NOTHIN'. Anyone up for toast?
  7. Even I found it very easy on normal. The only time I got my butt served to me was by Vrook, and that stopped happening when I leveled up and got my sabre. Then he was toast. Literally. Force Storm ^_^ Ahem. Yeah, it was super easy. Died on my first time vs. Kriea, then did it the second time. For the record: Jedi Sentinal (i think) to Sith Assassin. I plowed through everyone, it was never a problem (except for those specific places). *Shrugs* I found the first one more difficult. Even the easy setting on KOTOR can be more difficult than the normal on TSL. Or is that just me o_O I didn't mind it being easy though . . . after all, you're some super powerful Jedi/Sith and if dumb punks and troopers can stand up to you, then what's the point of being powerful?
  8. I liked it, except that it doesn't work if you're Sith. If you're LS, I'm pretty sure you can influence the light people in your party and "save" the dark people in your party. But if you're DS, you can't do Scheisse with anyone, except the dark people who like what you do. It's a good idea, but needs to be improved. If you're playing LS, you should be able to bring everyone up. If you're DS, you should be able to twist people. The influence system is too simple and one-sided. If I'm being nice to my party, it's not because I'm actually nice, I'm fooling them into following me, liking me more, and joining me on my path. But you can't do that.
  9. From what I've seen, my first character I accidentally didn't answer the Revan questions properly (I just made Atton shut the eff up because he was annoying me) so Revan ended up LSM. Which made Carth an Admiral. For my new character, I answered the questions right (Revan DSF) and Carth isn't the Admiral, but I haven't got far enough to know if he shows up or not. He hasn't yet though. Who cares? It's just Carth! I'm just happy my voices of reason are in it :D Yay Candy and HK!!!
  10. Hearing Cand-er, "Mandalore" speak ^_^
  11. Yeah, but you have to be high enough level. I finally pwned Vrook when I had gone around and done other stuff, and had leveled up my prestige class a few times. He's beatable, but you gotta have SKILLS. Anyone can beat him, it just matters on your character level.
  12. You know the green-hued training rooms? In one of them there's an emergency exit door. Beside it on the right there's a little red pannel. Trigger to it and press on it. That should fix ya ^_^ It took me over an hour to figure it out. Yeah.
  13. I hope I know about your own crystal . . . *mutters* That wasn't what I was saying. I also thought that someone said that we get the option of retrieving our old lightsabre, which was to be worth the effort as it was special, or just make a new one. Frig, I remember *reading* that. I know you make your own sabre with your own crystal, but still, I want my old one damn it
  14. Though I've learned a lot through reading all this, it still doesn't fix the game. It seems that the game is more concluded as LS, so imagine what it's like for us DSers O_O; All I know is that when I killed Kreia, I threw her off the platform, the camera zoomed up out of Malachor V and then the credits rolled. Nothing to do with explosions, or the crew or the E.Hawk. Some things you guys are asking about because they aren't clear to you I never even *heard*. It keeps getting worse and worse . . . I'll actually have to play LS legit . . . The game should be able to stand on its own. It's fine to bring up side questions and points of personal interest through the game to follow through in a sequel. But to not close or at least partially solve the main plot, to start plots and then never touch them again; to have to completely rely on a sequel to finish the previous game, that's not right.
  15. Your crystal colour as told to Atton has nothing to do with what you'll find. I told him mine was double-bladed and I didn't remember the colour. So Atris had a double-bladed blue sabre. The first crystal I found was orange. I think that was like, the *only* crystal I found. I never even found a blue one. So . . . I guess for you it was just random? Various secrets and easter eggs eh? . . . I'm only on my second play through, so I guess it'll be a fair bit of time before that O_O And damn for not getting your sabre back. I went in circles with Atris for like, 20 minutes trying to get my sabre back from her until I finally got sick of it. I don't think it's possible
  16. Maria is actually right. I don't know why I didn't say it first o_O Oh, because I didn't know at the time :"> But anyhoo, yeah, the game needs to be saved constantly, and in different slots, or you can get screwed big time: like right now. The problem with running away from him is that while you heal up, he heals up. So . . . either get a really good strategy down, or . . . you're effed.
  17. We need more Candy-man, HK, and we need to be able to pick the romances. It should be free for all :D If I have to romance Carth at any point I will vomit. Plus, I'm DSF, so the first chance I get to kill him, I'll gladly take it. Bastila can be in the story DS or LS, male or female. If you're DS, you have the emotional and mental bond, male. If you're female, you have the mental bond. Plus she's still your apprentice. And what you guys said for LS, which I don't really understand ^_^ so I won't go there She kinda has to be in the third one (if there is one O_O hint hint) because either way, she was with Revan. I don't think she/he will just throw her away. Unless you have some option to say that indeed you did kill her, but I think that that was a small percentage.
  18. All I know is that you get a DS crystal (ish red n_n) but it isn't a colour crystal. It's just a good one. I don't know about the blackish one . . .
  19. Dantooine was also my first planet. I couldn't beat Vrook and I tried as many times as you. I'd suggest going back to a previous save point and if you don't have one, hope your autosave is far enough back to take you to a point *before* you help the mercs. Get everything ready to help them (if that's what you choose, though no matter what, from what I've seen, you have to fight Vrook so it doesn't matter), then leave Dantooine and do other stuff. Get a sabre, get leveled up and fight the other Jedi. Just anything else, because he's like, *impossible* to beat early on in the game. So don't sweat it. Forget him and do something else.
  20. Sion says something to the context of he hates me because I'm the closest thing he can come to loving. Or that he loves me or something, so he hates me. Could be a bit of both. That'd be sweet though. Could you imagine the children?!
  21. Dude, I'm a woman and I don't understand them!!! I've said it once, twice, and I'll say it again: closest thing to a romance I got was Sion. I guess painridden corpse-like men are cool in their own right n_n Did make me feel special, y'know, out of all the women in the galaxy . . . Still . . . better than goodie-goodie Disciple. "No Atton, I think it *is* a trap!" My brother and I have been making fun of him non-stop since he said that . . . gah! Idiots, fools, weaklings . . . No one became Jedi with me. I would have liked to have influence over them, y'know, because I'm Sith and I wanted to twist them, but it seems that every time you try to do something cunningly "evil" in star wars, it's misconstrewed as being good. Actions aren't good or bad, it's the modivation behind them. That should be added in
  22. Gareth: Do it in a better way with better grammar. I'm better at being mean than you are, so cool it already. Multiple people answered your question so grow up already. You get a crystal in the crystal cave on the little mound in the middle of the crystal room. It bonds to you. It's special. It even has your name. Wow. Not much more to it than that. As for the pearl crystal, what pearl? Both my bro and I got this cool red crystal thing with a weird name. Perhaps it depends on alignment? Oh, and Sion gives this neat-o looking crystal at the end, but I never got around to equiping it, because, y'know, the game was over. Pointless. Perhaps this time (my new character) I'll run back through the place and find that damned workbench Might make me even more powerful :D While the bonded crystal doesn't change the blade colour, the crystal itself changes colour. When I first got it, it was like, transluscent or something. Then later, as I went darker and had it realigned to me, it spoke of it being a different colour and hazy or something. I dunno *shrugs*
  23. I got four major glitches (I think, give or take a glitch), and my brother got a glitch or semi-glitch. I guess I'll put it into spoilers so if anyone else comes across these, they'll know what to do instead of wasting time figuring it out for themselves. But I can't remember them all . . . For the record: my glitches had nothing to do with piracy. What was the Bandon sabre glitch? I never came across it . . . And there were character glitches on the Leviathan? I think I used everyone on it, and some multiple times (yeah, I've played THAT many times) and never hit any. Now I'm curious . . . TSL is the first time I've ever really hit major glitches. And yeah, sometimes the framerate is stilted, but it doesn't *really* affect the game, it's just bothersome. It doesn't seem to happen *too* often though. Luckily I haven't had the black screen of doom O_O That'd be the last straw
  24. The ending is nothing like the feel of ESB. I love ESB, but at least ESB doesn't feel like a vortex. I mean, the game is awesome: for the first 25 hours or more you'll be wishing it will never end. I know I was: I wanted it to go on FOREVER. If I could sit down and play that game and have it be 100 hours long (and have the whole game the quality of the first 3/4's) I would. But don't be too hopeful for the ending. It's just . . . ends. It's not an ending. The game starts up different side things that you expect to have meaning, or expect to find out about, but then you're just left out in the cold. It really is a great game, don't get me wrong (and your Halo 2 comparison is well received, even though I loved the game n_n and I'm not into the Halo hype) but don't hope for an ESB feel. I liked playing as the other characters. It expanded the game more, even if it could be annoying (because you wanted to find out more about your character and such). It was different, and it allowed you to . . . interact with the game and characters more. I dunno, I thought it was cool. Maybe it should be an optional thing in III?
  25. If you're ever stuck on a planet, can't figure out where to go next, or not quite sure what your mission is, planet hop. The planets cannot be done in one go, unlike KOTOR. So yeah . . . I don't remember doing any of those things you mentioned (except, y'know, killing people o_o;) but I've only played through once, so maybe I'm wrong . . . still, if you're really stuck and can't figure things out, just leave and go to a different planet do some stuff there, then return to the planet you were stuck on later.
