i would like the KOTOR series to be an ongoing theme. All games set in same universe and since it is set 4000 years before the films the designers can do pretty much what they want in terms of storyline. I think in future they should be set many years apart so that the events of one game does not rely on a previous game.

This kind of topic does invite.. erm.. heated debate. The title is tantamount to saying: "Hello i havent even played the game cos it sucks, so does everyone who bought it, discuss" Thus inviting flaming and disagreement etc etc. hmm.. an idea for a new poll: Should ppl do inflammatory polling? nah j/k i hate the recent spate of polls appearing on the boards like some kind of virtual mind vomit, so i wouldnt want to add to the misery.

It is funny and so is the rest of the comic. They have pastiches on rpgs and halo throughou the whole thing. I think the above edition came out quite a while ago.

Except girls can get away with it and appear coy and charming. Wheras if a guy does it, it is a clumsy, disingenuous and creepy way of talking to a girl.

Instead of a boring DS recap of events - it should have been tulak hord's holocron speaking shouty sith gibberish. However you would also get to do some training sequence and if completed successfully you learn his supposedly awesome combat skills.

I swear in Kotor a lot of the lines were lifted from the Jabba's Palace scene in RotJ. Thats why it sounds more "authentic" to me. Also it is not a real language or based on anything its just funny sounding gibberish. I'm not sure if jawa lingo is swahili but it definitely was an african language that was sped upand played in reverse

Twi'lek? I thought they all spoke Huttese in Kotor. In kotor2 the languages werent as interesting - except for quarrenspeak which sounds like vomiting

Kotor's story is the simpler of the two but that doesnt mean its inferior. It had good pacing and the twist was well done and the story was wrapped up no matter your alignment. The story in K2 attempted to be bolder by introducing new ideas but these wre poorly executed and it seemed rushed so overall it just became confusing and unsatisfactory

One thing that i still can't work out regarding Mira. If you play LS what is so special about Mira that she gets her own scene on Malachor V? It seems to me like its just making a big deal out of the hanharr mira storyline. Can anyone shed any light on this?

I agree with you jedi exile - my comment about making a save was made in jest. Trying to put combat and characters from the films in d20 categorisation is a a bit silly since the rules were made after the film and only to make a game free and playable enough to have any appeal. TBh when watching the phantom menace for teh first time i just thought qui gonn was having a sit down and a bit of a breather - i half expected him to pull out a cigarette.

Ok by the way jedi is NOT an officially recognised religon here in the UK. However in the 2001 census out of over 52m ppl, around 300000 put their religion down as Jedi in the mistaken belief that it would get official govt recognition.

There are fans and there are nerds. I would define nerd in this case as one who obsesses over technical details of a universe that is the product of somebody elses imagination and claims to have superior knowledge of this "universe" and then struts about assuming he or she is better than others due to this so called knowledge. I hope that makes it clear...... <_<
