I'm with SP, I buy them to collect them. Just for fun. And, then I read them after I finsh the game once. For games like D&D, I'll also likely read the sections on spells, feats, and the like as well since I don't consider that 'spoilerish' as sometimes the strategy guide will explain clearer than the game itself or the manual on how spells and stuff work in game as opposed to pnp which is fair knowledge that we as players should know. Using them for spoilers is silly.

The President of Iran is not the head cheese in Iran. Someone who is UNELECTED holds the power in Iran. Thereby, making Iran anything *but* a Democracy. Only someone who is naive, or blind to the actual facts believes Iran is a democracy.

Hahahahaha! NWN rocks. BEST GAME EVAR! And, it's graphics are still good for the most part ( a little blocky; but meh). Sure beats its contemprary MW which tried to pass brown poo from the company toilets as 'good graphics'. And, why do people constantly try to brag about NWN2 graphics by comparing it to NWN1? That's not nor should it be impressive. NWN1 was released in 2002, and NWN2 is being released in 2006. It *should* have better graphics. Let's comparing it to current games at least like Oblivion (*puke*), or the upcoming Gothic 3 (possibly cool). "and if it is multiplayer you want (for free) Guild Wars is probably much better anyway." Guild Wars is horrible. I overrated it when i first played, and regreated that after baout 5 hours of play. Great graphics, and an 'okay' character system. That's it. Everything else about it is completely blaisse.

JE is wayyyyyy better than either KOTOR. It's noty even a contest. Those who disagree are better off being DS, and POR2. Those are the 'RPGs' more suited for them. P.S. Hades, you should really make up your mind which KOTOR you liked more. One day it's KOTOR1; the next it's KOTOR2.

Yes. It's 1 million times better than KOTOR. It's 2 million times better than SOU. It's 200% better than OC. It's 50% better than BG1. It's 1000x worse than NWN TP. It's 100% better than HOTU. It's 5% worse than BG2. That is all.

It's easy, and can be done within 3 seconds (if not quicker) and since each round is 6 seconds menaing you can't cast more than 1 spell per round (barring haste or quick spell) than it shouldn't matter how much you cna quick. I found it really intuitive, and rather quick.

Yes, I just bought EQ2 because my brother loves it, and wnats me to play it. It has broken my refusal of playing MMORPGs too though I don't know if I'm gonna pay after the first month because the controls are absolutely horrible. Great graphics, solid character creation/development, and world history. Plus, with my brother I'm guaranteed to have a party no matter hwat. Sill, the controls are absolutely horrid!!! Seriosuly, I would enjoy the game much more if the controls weren't possibly the worst ever. Hopefully, I'll get used to it within the next month. P.S. STOP SPYING ON ME AND MY GAMING HABITS! P.S.S. It should be noted that patch 1.67 is coming out soon - likely a month or so since they're in like the 3rd public beta test for it. As for needing patches. With the latest retail version (Platinum) you likely won't *need* patches; but 1.67 is promising a lot of new stuff including stuff found in the latest Premium Modules. Bio is also gonna have 2 new tilesets as well as an extra patch when it does. Like all BIO RPGs, NWN (all versions) have lots of combat as well as focus on story and characters. Whether you'll personally like said story or characters is really up to you. Us dinks could give you are opinions; but they are all opinions. For myself, NWN (espicially HOTU) offers more in terms of story, characters, and role-playing than KOTOR.

I'm sure NWN2's graphics will be better than Oblivion becuase like MW, Oblivion probably has brown poo that Bethesda likely tries to pass off as 'good graphics'. The radial menu of NWN was better than TOEE's because at least unlike TOEE; it's radial menu didn't go off the screen. Add to that, the quick slots, it was a perfect combination. Hopefully, the NWN2 method is good as well since they decided to waste time taking out somehting from NWN1 that actually worked great. NWN's interface was easily the best interface ever, imnsho. May NWN2's continue to wow me in the tradition of this (still yet) short series.

Since it's rather old; it is releatively cheap now so even if you end up disliking it; it won't be the end of the world money wise. As for henchmen/hirelings. In the OC, the joinable npcs are Expert Hirelings. In SOU, and HOTU the are actually henchmen since regardless what BIO and/or Obsidian tries to tell you henchmen are actually friends/allies you choose to do travel with you for personal reasons like freindship, loyalty, or whatever. In the OC, and SOU; you only get one npc. In HOTU, two npcs travel with you much like in KOTOR. NWN's combat system has more in common with the BGs than with KOTOR. Heck, it has more in common with TOEE than the KOTORs. KOTOR series is combat is just plain bland. The OC story is ok. It has its good points, and weak points. It's nowhere near the best; but definitely not amongst the worst. SOU's story is lacklustre; but it's role-playing (espicially in ch1) is very good. Ch2 sucks bad though. HOTU is good all around exccept it redefines phat lewt. HOTU, overall, is wayyy better than KOTOR series.

No comment about the radial menu. I made my piece, and will now move on as much as possible. Cool about the interview... :cool:
