Yeah; but the Bears D is so good that many QBs look bad against them. Even Brady in his team's WIN against the Bears didn't look so good. Without their D, the Bears are just another run of the mill team. With their D, they are likely fighting Dallas as the best team in the conference.

No. Bhaalspawn story doesn't have to be finished. Stop sporeaidng rumours, myths, and innuendo! "I've played all the Baldur's Gate games i can, and ever since good ole' Black Isle went under a few years ago i've been dying for another one." BIS/ Interplay 'just piblished' it btw. Theya ren't the main reason why the BGs are as good 9or as bad to some) as theya re. Neitehr Obsidian, or BIO have control of the BG saga license anyways. You have to ask Atari. They gots THA powwa! -
"Atlanta = patsy" 6-6 doesn't equal patsy. Sorry. Atlanta is a good team. They'd be great if they weren't reliant too much on one player.
-
Wrong.

Spam thread? Use the other NWN2 threads for this stuff.
-
"hope you're not suggesting that NWN1 had "Npc interaction"... ) " Yup, sure am. You'd have to be completely blind, bias, or a liar to not know or to admit it. It's quality can be debated; but it's existence is a FACT.

1. Gothic 3 - Fun game; but has a LOT of things that stop it from being an elite game. Better than anything else the ES or Gothic series has ever offered before, though. 2. NWN series modding. Oo <> 3. MVP Baseball 2005. Yes, still going strong with the only game that gives NWN a run for its money. This season, I'm doing rather well. About 100 games in, my record is 70-33. Best W% ever. My player is actually scaring opponents as I've collected Barry Bonds type numbers when it comes to intentional walks. :joy: :joy: :joy:

" but it was a very pure RPG (NWN doesn't beat BG to that " Wrong. -
My xbox 360? I don't have an xbox 360. And, is eriously doubt they make games for just one individual.
-
"NPC interaction is back!" Eh? When did ity leave? And, it did leave; it didn't go anywhere. P.S. Tigranes 4 THA W!
-
Wrong. I'm iffy about it. I want to see what my character is gonna say before I choose something.

"IWD nailed claustrophobia down." No, it didn't. I didn't find it claustrophoic at all. And, Wtacher's Tower was just as good as Durlag's Tower. DT also had at least one way IIRC to exit it early. *shrug* Besdies, are all 'dunegons' made to be the same? Both of these dungeons had different purposes when they were created. taht's why theyt're different. Duh.

This is the first (and only) time I've seen that screen.

"Resurrection (or raise dead) is available to any cleric of level 9 and above, is it not? To me, that's casual. Allowing the players to have access to such a spell at all even is casual in my eyes." Read the D&d books before making stuff up.
-
Tough. That's why they get paid the big bucks. And, perhaps, instead of 'easy, normal, core, and super dififcult' modes; they can have 'newbie, core, and powermad dm' modes.
-
" only one has resurrection as casual as it is in D&D. And that's, well D&D. " No. It's not casual in D&D. Most definitely not pnp. D&D CRPG does not = D&D pnp. "if you complain 'bout difficulty and never bother to adjust difficulty slider, then we gots little compassion." I play D&D games to play D&D. Not make believe rules. If companies cna't make games challenging using the Core D&D rules settings than they are doing a poor job DMing. I'm not gonna chnage the settings just to make up for poor deisgn. Sorry.

It's not that PST or NWN or any other D&D alignment system is bad per se. It isn't. I'ma defender of it. However, I think the argument her eis the good vs. evil aspect. In JE, it's not (well.. not meant to be) so black and white (though it wans't always a success in thatr egard either). A good attempt at not making it so black and white. perhaps JE2 will accomplish its goal. :joy:
-
Poiosn, disease, level drain,a nd other stuff like that, I almsot always laugh at. It's so easy to defend against or fix. Why are people so scared about such wussy stuff?
-
JE 's alignment system wasn't perfect; but it sure beats anything else done by BIO (or BIS, or Troika, or Bethesda, or Obsidian) except possibly the FOs.

"1. I would hardly call TOEE ugly" It was certainly passable. "2. It didn't do badly, it remains troiki most profitable game from what I understand, it just took a long time to become a big seller." It did do badly. Just ebcause it was the most profitable Troika game doens't prove much since Troika's games didn't do well financially. That's why they could no longer get hired. "3. I would gladly sacrafice graphics for an honest to goodness turn base rpg. I don't understand why developers have become so obessed with real-time Rpgs esp for group game, or at the very least give us to option of playing the game in turn-based mode, ala arcanum." Problem with TOEE is that turn base or not, the game sucked.

"Things like epic level spells weren't in the original, or even the first expansion IIRC. I didn't think Time Stop was in the original either, but I can't say I played enough to notice. There are certainly reasons to criticize NWN2--romances, for example, if that's important to you--but many of the complaints stem from it not supporting every option from NWN after 5 years of patching and two major (and non-free) expansions." Tough. It's a sequel. I think his expectations are fair.

"we play crpgs. vol may not be aware of this, but more than a few crpgs has been d&d. duh. also, when Gromnir first started playing pnp rpgs, d&d were the only option. then came along games like tunnels and trolls and numerous pretenders. since the early days o' role-play we has played champions and rolemaster and gurps and a dozen other systems you probably not even familiar with. also, vol may not be aware o' this, but pnp is a group activity. not being a fan of d&d hardly prevents Gromnir from enjoying the occasional d&d rp session. as we has stated once or twice before, with role-play the rules is always secondary. our best gaming group ever were actually played with tunnels and trolls, which were a terrible system. we give far too much time and consideration to vol's recent comments. blather on if you must, but please try to raise level o' your nonsense so Gromnir and others not have to endure such silliness. 'least throw in a joke or two so we get some entertainment value from having to endure vol's brain farts come-to-life in post form. am thanksing you in advance for the future consideration." Why write gibberish, and no, I don't mean the 'we' stuff. That's cool. I mean the actual gibberish. What you blabbin' on about? I know D&D is a group activity. So are many other things. Try one of those group activities if it's a group ye seek. And, espicially since 99.9% of D&D video games are *not* group activities; your point still not found.
-
For a 'non fan' you sure play a lot of D&D games.
