Who is everyone? Last i ehard, NJ was one of the top teams in the elague. Afterall, they reached the Finals. And, Kovy has come from 'worst defense ever' to 'best defense ever'. L0L Krookie sound svery better b/c maybe 1 or 2 peons had the dare to make fun of his team. Boo hoo.

From MS? He has been at MS for 10 years. He's no insider. He comes across as arrogant and a piece of crap not to mention ignorant. P.S. I did notice your last sentence but the point stands.

"Having said that, KOTOR 3 would still have been a great pitch. I would venture a guess that TOR, as an MMO, didn't appeal to a lot of single player KOTOR fans. I certainly didn't buy it and I would guess there were many KOTOR fans who likewise exchewed it. Besides, it did get a couple of million sales - it's just that the MMO couldn't keep them for a long time, which is where it makes its revenue." TOR sold as much if not more than either KOTOR. It also still has a solid customer base. The issue with TOR is not really it's popularity comapred to the KOTOR. The problem is that too much money was wasted. It did not need to have 2 billionn dollars thrown in its direction. It could have had the same numbers with a lot less spent.

Looking solid but some issues. Perception cones for enemies is a lame concept. No way should the player have access to that kind of literal information. Key word dialogue has always been lame. No different here. It makes the PC look like a loser. Good stuff is the combat looks fun, the UI is serviceable even if not pretty. The description texts are cool and 9so far) look plentiful. And, the final metal 'spider' looks sweet and I WANT TO KILL IT! Demo = 7.5/10 Glad I'm getting the game through PE.

Define 'failure'. TOR has sold lots of copies - more than KOTOR2 for sure and very likely mroe than KOTOR1 - so if it is a failure based on that than those games are also failures. It has madem money - just not as much as LA/EA/BIO foolishly thoguht it would. It didn't meet the retarted expectations, but it still was successfule noguh to bring money in. Failure in expectations (because they were stupid) but success in actual bottom line. Then again,m youa re part of the inetrnet who claims that TOR cost 10billion dollars to make so I cna't take yous eriously. L0L

"Jagr went to go play hockey in his home country, I respect that completely. " That's not how that worked. Jagr wanted a 3 year contract. The Rangers (and other interested teams) wanted to giv him 1 year ebcause he was 'too old' to play another 3 eyar sin the NHL... that was 5 years ago. "Thomas has shown disrespect for the game and for the USA with his actions. There are plenty of ways to voice your political opinions in a respectful manner, and he has gone out of his way to do the opposite. " No. He showed respect for the game and the US. You show disprect to the game iand the US by your crying about his politics. "He has a contract to play hockey this year. I'm a bit confused on why they can't cancel it or he can't simply retire and return in another year if he wants, but it seems like he put the Bruins in a bad situation here." Boston could have (and now NYI) can make it so he has to honour his last year of the contract next season if he decides to play. Know the rules of the NHl or don't spam silly stuff. He's not getting 'out' of the contract. Sorry.

"Such a high bar!" Oooo.. the developer with a snappy one! I like.

People talk about he 'failure' of TOR despite the fact it sold as much and likely more than either KOTOR did. So, there is an audience for it. The issue isthat money was simply thrown at it that didn't add enough substantial stuff to it to warrant it costing a smuch as it did (for the record, it did not sell a billion or 400mil).

"Every movie he does he plays the same Scorsese period piece guy. It's pretty decent though. He's definitely not just another pretty face anymore. " He plays a variety style of characters and plays them well. He has more rnage than all of the so called great. Clint Eastwood? L0L Anthony Hopkins? L0L And, the list goes on. Quite frankly, Dicaprio is the best actor ever because he cna play anything. Guy should have, at minimum, 10 oscars in his trophy case.

His antics are awesome. WAAA! he didn't go to the WH. Big deal... WAAAAAAAAAAA! he decided to take a year off to spend with family because unlike rnadom yahoo spammers here he cana ctually afford sucha decision. BOO HOO! The fact people cry over Tim Thomas is hialrious. He's ana wesoem goalie, and the NHL can't claim to have the best players when he isn't playing.. just like the stupidity when Jagrn't allowed to play in the NHL. In conclusion, Thomas > U

TOR had a 'relative lack of success' because it was way too expensive. It sold well, has a decent player base (not me); but costing 1 billion dollars is just stupid for any video game espicially a MMO based on a franchise/game (KOTOR1) that sold approx. 3mil copies. L0L Anyways, why can't Obsidian move on from SW? Stick with PE, and other stuff. Try for a new DnD game (lol PE lol); but SW has always been overrated and contrary to popular belief, being a SW game doesn't equal insta success. heck, sales wise, TOR is one of the more successful SW games most likely.

Tim Thomas is an Islander!!!

"A boyish appearance hasn't hurt Leo's career" Not money and successwise but the Academy hates him! How does Leo not have 10+ Best Actor Awards!?!

That's My Boy - Funny if you like crude humour which I do. Solid Sandler comedy if you like that sort of thing which I do. The story was interesting but I think more could have been done. 7/10

Take Me Home Tonight, On the surface just another collage age movie of lost souls finding their way mixed in with boy crushes on out of his league girl but hella entetrauining with fantatsic acting. Lady crush was almost too perfect but still well done. 8/10

Legally Obscene: Rape, Statutory Rape, and Child Support
Volourn replied to lord of flies's topic in Way Off-Topic
So.. a raped victim should eb child support? That's laughable! Azure is hilarious. (though I think rape is a word causually used in adult-non adult relationships). This is a case of sexism against males. Not reverse s exism. just plain sexism. This wouldn't happen most likely against women except in backward places where rape victims are forced to marry their rapists (which is disgusting as well). This young man/boy should not be forced to pay for the child. The woman, by the alw,w as convicted of statuary sex crime. She should pay for the child 100% on her own. in fact, imo, she should lose the child since she likely isn't responible enoguh to be a parent. If I were the boy, i'd sue her for crimes for a lot of money. heck, I'd sue her for child custody if I'm beingf roced to pay for it. -
@ Hurl: Then his bragging is even a bigger headscratcher. P.S. FIRE TORTURECHIPS!!!
-
Read it somewhere else and hard to rush here and brag about your faves gonna get 148 points this season in 48 games played. L0L Admit. You were bragging. Nothing wrong with bragging since that is what sports is about - the right to brag when your team succeeds and laugh when someone else's team fails!!! But, be honest about it, and don't blame others for your bragging!
-
Then why you bragging about Marleau and Thornton's 148 poitns on the season then, Krookie? You are the one claiming such nonsense. Not me.

"lso it's kinda silly for all these priests of deity X to claim their deity is the one true god in a system where there's many different real gods and everyone is aware of that including themselves. Add to that that all these gods are petty and mortal, and the silliness just gets out of control. Either make people behave in a way that's consistent with these many deities' relative importance (i.e. they would usually pray to several different gods, for instance), or change the pantheon to make the gods worthy of the exclusive reverence they expect. As it stood in D&D it just wasn't believable." You completely misundersatnd how the D&d/FR pantheon works. In fact, majority of people in the Realms pray to multiple dieties as you suggest. And, most dieties don't try to force peopel to only worship them. On top of that, some dieties actually pledge loyalty to other gods and expect their followers to do the same (see Helm). Also, not all the gods are petty and mortal. ie. The Creator Gods ala Moradin of the dwarves and Corelleon of the elves don't act like that (and they do basically act as our god does for our repsective races). heck, even duergar still respect Moradin as the Creator and their chosen dwarven god still a part of the dwarven pantheon. In conclusion, don't post about stuff you obviously know very little about. ABOUT UPDATE: SolId stuff. The listed goddess definitely has potential.

If I were one of your aprty members, I'd 'accidently' hit you with my melee wepaon or my bow when you are low on spells and health. That's the best aprt of being a non wizard. Getting revenge for dumb casters who aren't smart enoguh to target spells properly.
