"Just because you yourself perhaps was incapable of all that or maybe even many of the people you knew were, doesn't mean everyone is. Especially in the context of the times. ie: your average teenager of yesteryear was very arguably capable of a lot more than your average teenager of today (they're too busy playing with electronic toys and living insulated lives). At no point in the books did I ever think, 'Na... someone that age wouldn't possibly do that'. I can easily see a kid doing everything that Arya does, and if there's a character that most who think as you do can't wrap their heads around, it's probably her. Some kids are capable of far far more than many adults will ever give them credit for." Please. It's not about comparing to me. It's about comapring them to other characters in the books. Even early on, for example, Jon brags about how he is a betters swordsman than grown men or how Robb is a better horse rider than fully grown adults. It's illogical and chaarcter pimping - even the author says, if he could, he'd go back and change that kind of styuff with their ages. Sansa is described as one of the most beautiful young women in the world - rivalling Cersei and the like (even Jon slobbers over his half sister) - at 11. Come on, Even the 13/14 year old she is in the show is silly in the regard even though the actress is now 18. The ages - even in terms of 'middle ages' - is over the top skewed. "Awesome? That's an overstatement. What's made better? Nothing. Those scenes are really relatively minor and the fact that they are there doesn't change a huge aspect to the story, as some other changes have." Yes, awesome. Great acting. It's also important because it explains Tywin better than he is in the books since, in the books, he has no viewpoint. We see him as he is not the skeweed way other characetrs look at him only. That's very important. "Either way it's a relatively minor change" It's a pretty major change as no doubt the people who watch the who show who sympathize with cersei (which there are many) wouldn't be so gung ho about that if they saw her ordering the murder of her dead husbands bastard children. In the book, Cersei is a complete psycho while in the show is a loving mother fighting the feminist fight against a patriarchial society. Geoffry (yes, i went there again) is not as over the top comic book evil in the novels either. Some things are done better in the book. Some things are done better in the tv show. *shrug* This blanket statement of 'everything in tv show is worse' is silly, juvenile, amateur, and shallow. Back to trailer: Can't wait til season starts.

The Arya and Tywin scenes are awesome and make things better. Period. I've ehard rumours that they are giving the SH 'role' to Sansa. Sounds better than the lame ness of the books which spits in the face of the death mattering. They changed things. In the books, Geoffry doesn't order the murder of the babies. That's all Cersei. "Most of the actors nail their parts. In fact, the biggest draw for me to even watch the show any more is that some of the actors really are a joy to watch and play their characters well, even if the story is going in a bad way." Yup, which is why the show will be better. I just don't believe a 13 year old Dany could do what Dany does. Even 18 year old Dany. Not to mention 14 year old Robb and Jon. Or 11 year old Sansa. RIDICULOUS.

1. I've read enough spoilers/discussion to know things - ie. the fact that Arya and Tywin never meet or the existence of Stoneheart. 2. I am currently reading the novels. 3. Tell me the 3 points I made are wrong instead of acting silly.

Another incident with black men getting shot by police

Don't be a toolbag. The better option would be to make sure the police are doing the atcual job they are meant to be doing - protecting and serving the public nto killing anyone theywant, covering it up, and getting away with it simply because of the uniform. The standards for police should be HIGHER for the general public NOT lower. \ \Defend murderous piece of crap cops does a disservice to the good cops. Capiche? Comprehende? Understoodio? -

Even true, that just proves that cops are trained to be cold blooded murderers. Yet, people wonder why these so called 'good guys' have bad reputations with the general public. LMAO They're just another gang full of thugs with a fancy uniform. -
"The moment you start arguing with them you give them legitimacy" So, when the proseuction argues/questions a mass murder... they'e giving them 'legitmacy'? LMAO
-
Some things handled better in the show: 1. Arya and Tywin scenes. 2. No Lady Stoneheart (yet). 3. Geoffry being way more dispicable and hateful. Plus, being able to have scenes where book plot piint of view characters aren't involved in is a good thing that adds to depth. And, that 'central plot' is dumb anyways. TV SHOW > NOVELS Period.

The bigotry outside, the idea that she is only doing what she does for money is obvious.

"Why wouldn't you want the TV series to be like the books? If you had read them you would want the series to be like them because they are just so well written and captivating" Because the books are still there. If you find them so awesome go read them. Any changes to the material for tv/movie doesn't change one thing about the book. I, for one, don't mind there being switches. Plus, sometimes the material can be silly - like the ages for GOT characters - even the damn author admits this. No way does it make sense that 13 year old book Dany can do the things she does. That's just silly. "Considering every time they've diverged from the books its been handled horribly, no, not good." No. You. Are. Wrong. Period.

"highly divergent from the books." G O O D

The 'focus' isn't on 'Zoe'. That's already been debunked.

Because cops should be better trained to handle these things than some random yahoo on the damn internet. There have been plenty of cases where cops have capture perps who had weapons without killing them or being killed themselves. the problem is the trigger happiness. Cops should have more respect for human life than your random sreet thug. The motto of the police USED to be 'to serve and protect' now its 'kill first, cover up later'. EVIL. Yet, people continually defend the horrible coppers which only hurts and condemn the good coppers. SICK. -

"Yea... it is a spoiler. And not everyone watches trailers, for a variety of reasons, one of which happens to be that often there are spoilers in trailers. Rather than be an ass, try having some respect." Only one showing disrespect is you.

Yet you can watch a billion humans die in movies. L0L You guys do realize that a) the entire premise of the movie is that death right? and b) it's not REALLY dead in real life. I never get the whining and crying and evilness of such reactions. Who cares if a man is raped and killed at the same time. That is shruig worthy. But, that happens OMG THAT IS SO WRONG AND THE CREATORS ARE EVIL. Pathetic.

The idea of 4 women GB isn't sexist by itself. It's the likely reasons why there are 4 female GB that make it sexist. It reeks of SJW nonsense. \For example, when the original GB was created, I doubt the creators sat around and evilly proclaimed' women are horrible and suck and shouldn't be in the movie simply because they are female'. But, that's exactly how this one likely came about. This film is all about SJW power. It's too bad too. Because, with the right four women I know I can enjoy an all female GB. But, the 4 they picked? I have my doubts... I liked my choices more. Who disagrees that Roseanne isn't a better choice than McCarthy acting wise if you are gonna go with 'overweight white woman'. I just saw her recently on a tv show and she was as funny as ever. And, she never needed to use her weight as the 'go to' joke either. ". maybe that says something good about her acting too " \There's good annoying and bad annoying. McCarthy is bad annoying. I had to stop watching her tv show 3 episodes in despite some decent content because she was simply too annoying. I avoid movies simply because she's in them and the ones she's in that I've watched she drags movies down. One I'd rate an 8 gets a 6 simply because of her on screen prescence. That's awful acting - espicially when she is the protagonist you are supposed to get behind.

"I don't know if being ugly has anything to do with it. I'm not a dude, but I doubt women consider Murray, Ramis or Aykroyd attractive and I don't think they should be judged on that either if they fit the part." Women can find whoever they want attractive. But, attractivity does matter. "You argument about "4 women is sexist" could easily be turned around to "4 men is sexist", I don't think either are true. "Equal representation is required" is nonsense. It's an argument best left to "Nazi SJWs" you hate so much when they whine about wanting more women in movies. You're literally being the same as those "Nazis". You can have movies with all-male casts and with all-female casts. If "equal representation" is a requirement, the fact that there's no asians in any of these movies is horribly racist, for example. It's lunacy." What's lunacy is this aprt of our post. It makes no sense. I already said my biggest beef is they picked the wrong 4 women. Plus, there's no logical reason for the movie to have 4 female leads other than SJWness. I don't mind 'all women movies per se' or 'female leads' if it's logical, make sense, and the female leads are actually good. But, McCarthy? DISGUSTING. Roseanne > McCarthy
-
Nah. It's gonna do fine money wise.
-
Most of those women are friggin' ugly and at least one of them is vastly overrated. If they wanted a funny 'overweight' white wioman at least pick Roseanne as she is actually awesome. The movie itself is sexist. Why 4 women? Why not 2 women/2men? \I can also think of 4 more worthy women. Kristen Wigg is okay. McCarthy is garbage. The other 2 I'm not really familiar with. The other 3 are gonna need their A+ game to carry that horrible one note actress. "I can't think of any 4 males that would be a better fit than who they went with, and it adds a new hook." Forget men. I can think of at least 100 women who would make this movie worthwhile. They picked 4 of the worst. Jeniffer Lawrence, Sophie Turner, Rutina Wesley, and Roseeana Barr 9as I mentioned above) are all vastly superior choices. And, the fact you can't think of even 4 males just reveals YOUR sexism. McCarthy is AWFUL in EVERYTHING she does that I've bothered to watch.

"I feel there is room for games to be more diverse." I agree. Too bad SJWs don't want diverse games. They want a specific type of game and want all other types they dissaprove of banned. That's evil.

"Things always seem so black and white with you people, quite literally at times too." Why do people feel the need to defend bad cops no matter what? That helps nobody - certainly not the good cops. It does everyone a disservice to defend such scuh scumbags such as this. This cop is an evil murderous scumbag piece of ****. It's obvious he knew the guy and want to murder him for something that happened 13 years ago. Revenge killings by cops is very scary **** and unjustifible.
