  1. 24, first season, in a 2 day marathon. 3rd time I've watched it, gets a little better each time. Still like 2nd season best - which ironically, is the only one I haven't yet bought on DVD.
  2. BarbieGirl sounds very different in German.
  3. No clue, but it reminds me of the singer-profile graphic from Jesus Christ Superstar.
  4. Past games have had hints of that, but nothing with that kind of detail. I personally think it should matter if civvies get killed from an attack you make. But then I tend to think of things like in Superman2 w/the Man of Steel crying "The peeopppleee!" when I play good characters - ie, good characters should care about the lives they're ultimately trying to protect. I mean, sure you can't avoid it every instance, but it should have some world-effect...either by affecting later quests (cause you killed a civvie's brother) or some kind of general whole. So to answer the question - yes, I'd be interested in a game that explored such a theme...as long as it wasn't just 'escort me here while I trail behind you like an idiot' quests, like someone mentioned....which doesn't seem to be what you're thinking about, anyway.
  5. Crab nuggets sound bad enough...what are crab nuggents? :D And right now I'm eating a stale Saltine cracker...
  6. I didn't hate her in the sense of the plot. She was a pretty interesting character story and motivation-wise - certainly not the typical 'villian' (they used the others for that role I guess...). But just like some people couldn't stand listening to Disciple's battle cries, I couldn't stand listening to hers, so my antipathy slowly grew... :D
  7. @ Hades - ------------------------------------- Scaredy dog?
  8. (This damn stupid song is now stuck in my head) The old but still good funny-cat compilation one.
  9. :D The New Who: I like the actor plying the Doctor...the girl is a bit annoying. Pretty decent show tho. We watched the DVD of The Three Burials, which is one farking strange film. Hubby rented it thinking it'd be a western...it's not.
  10. It's an early Bioware RPG that's pretty true to the D&D rules. 3/4, top down fixed perspective, very large number of maps/world, party environment, quests, etc. Definitely a great RPG, I played it for months when it first came out. But not like Kotor in style or action, imo. http://www.bioware.com/games/baldurs_gate/screenshots/
  11. I think the RPG genre has rather dried up, period, in the past years. Action-RPG's (or whatever you want to call them...), or at least very watered down RPG's, dominate at the moment, probably partly because they're easier to translate to MM-online games. Given Kotor's game format tho (some might say the Kotor's are still 'limited' RPG's), there might be some others out there you might like. However, I myself haven't played any other pc games that really remind me of the Kotor game-concept.
  12. If you want to believe Mira loves your male Exile, feel free. It's role-playing. In terms of the so-called official plot...no, I don't think so. Grudgingly admires/cares, yes, loves, no.
  13. Yeah...tho the only thing I remember from it is Paul Reubens.
  14. I played a couple games of solitare...
  15. fudge swirl ice cream
  16. Diablo's already a MP-focused game. If it becomes a MMRPG, big deal. Tho they will piss a lot of people off if it's a monthly fee thing. Not that Blizzard cares about that. I don't mind MMRPG's, or on-line games, fee or not...but if every single game starts to become one, eventually the audience (and their pocketbooks) will be spread too thin and most won't make any money. The next several years will be interesting.
  17. The version of 20,000 Leages Under the Sea w/Ben Cross as Nemo (it was on, I couldn't sleep). Horrible, yet strangely fascinating in its horribleness. I kept thinking I was watching some cheap & cheesy early 70's movie until I surfed the title on the web.
  18. No, it's the dust mask he likes to wear. I envision him sleeping with the things on. But he does bug me...haha.
  19. This all makes me think of Michael Jackson.
  20. Our house in Googleearth just looks like a grey blob with a blue blob behind it. Extremely unexciting.
  21. I'm not playing anything right now...I'm burnt out on the games for the moment.
  22. I'm not into dogs much, but I like this guy. Protect the innocent.
  23. I know people who put their toothbrushes in glasses of disinfectant when they're done. Dust mites are crawling all over your eyelashes right now...isn't that cool?
