Is this music or humor? Both? I'll put it here. I've been keeping tabs on YT "Roomie" for years, I love his impression vids/weird humor mostly. These days he has pretend feuds with others on YT. Anyway, ran across this guy "challenging" him this time. He's hilarious, loved it. When he imitates Roomie at one point I lost it. Plus I think he beats Roomie at the impressions this time. Edit: Also, that 'stache is awesome.

I don't know ... technically I guess it's a light saber. Yet...it has a way to go before it's like (or feels like?) the one in the movies. Still amazing/cool, tho. The earlier/longer project vid:

Sigh. All these games I've been trying, they're fun for a little while but they do not narrow-focus "obsess" me. So back to FFXV at the moment because Ansel screenshotting can pointlessly suck up hours with all the "camera directing" one does. Plus, I mean, doesn't everyone want to wait 15 minutes to take a 130GB screenshot of a CGI eyeball just to see what happens? Note: Windows Photo Viewer/irfan/other viewers do not seem to like images over 15x 4k - at 20x4k they tell me there's no memory left or that it's not a real or corrupt file and whatnot. Party pooper programs. Guess I need 128+GB RAM and NASA imaging software or something to actually view such shots...I suppose 15360x8640 will have to do instead.

Then I either get sore elbows and/or soreness from holding my neck up. I can't lie on my belly for long w/out wanting to prop up on an elbow or roll to the side instead. It's neck-uncomfy and most of us females have something that kind of gets in the way of that. I don't know how hubby sleeps on belly with arms crossed under/above his head. So uncomfortable.

Sometimes, when you can't it makes you want. I still like reading but my hands/thumbs no longer like the "book claw" position so it's difficult to read for long, thus it's hard for me to get into/finish them. I could use hardcovers but then I need reading glasses and a book holder (so I don't get a crick in my neck) etc. Same for ebooks/tablet, really, so I haven't bothered with ebooks yet.

Well, I'm late to this news party. Didn't know about this (I spend my time in the off-topic section these days...). Watching the trailer almost gave me a tingle of excitement. Almost. I personally don't mind 1st person (although if it's party-oriented I do tend to prefer 3rd) - but I found most Elder Scrolls games to be too sterile feeling. But that doesn't mean I find the comparison a bad thing. If Avowed ends up as a mixture of the things I did like about Elder Scrolls games (but less of things I didn't like) and combined with the things I tend to like Obsidian for, well ... it could be a home run. We'll see.

"The town's blacksmith wants 5 iron ore from the cave over yonder so he can make me some fancy new armor. I really need it, help me out guys. " ...*silence*.... "I'll pay $75 for each piece of iron." Companion 1: "I'm busy meditating in the garden." Companion 2: "It costs more than that just to polish my sword and shield. Triple it and I'll think about it. Maybe." Companion 3: "What a delicious sounding reward!" ...I'm down for it.

That's why you always keep your tablet loaded with a few (offline) games and fully charged.

Cheap 12" 4 quart (or something) frying pan is too small. Just saying.

This frying pan has been cat approved. Seen in an Amazon user review for a frying pan. The reviewer said they liked the pan and that "BTW, they also provide a lovely warm spot for a cat to occupy." Not sure that's where I'd want my kitty to warm its feet but ok.

Oh, it's finally coming to Steam? I haven't avoided everything but I don't know a lot, either. Hm ... guess I'll have to check it out.

I've had it since when it barely had a complete Act1. It's a good arpg and I played it a fair bit off and on but I still haven't gotten around to playing either of the DLC's. I have the same problem with it as I do with path of exile - something about the item/gear (and gear-stat) system doesn't appeal in the long run. I think the newer arpg's don't have the simplicity I liked about the older ones is all. Or the same sense of random-ness. But very good games overall (edit - GD does edge out Path of Exile a bit, imo). The D2 mod must've taken forever to make. A great way to get some D2 nostalgia but with newer arpg conveniences and GD's genre improvements. I wish I'd had this stash in Diablo2.

^ I've reached a point where if I sorta like a new series first few episodes enough to wonder what happens but still not enough to dedicate sit-still hours to it, I just read the wiki episode/character synopsis'. The internet has saved me countless hours in this way.

...wish it was a little bit bigger but I am pleased to once again have a black cat. Bonus: this one doesn't shed. ...apparently Amazon's track package doesn't track all that well when they aren't the ones actually delivering it - it still says it's on its way.

And it's still going to have Grim Dawn stuff/mechanics/classes as well as Diablo2 ones. But ... it is awesome. They even have the music, and "braiinnns" and "Rakisishu!" callouts etc.

^ To follow up, finished Ashfall. Not worth it. Most of the "disaster" aspect is in the first opening bits. The rest becomes almost a human drama as chrs. race to steal something so they can do something that might save the world etc. The two main leads eventually have an ok chemistry in the male-bonding under adversity way but meh. I wanted cheesy epic disaster, not drama with a side dose of political messages.

I've been feeling the same, only about TV's I want to use in my game/pc room. Inside walk-in stores I mean. I refuse to order big tv's online, when it's 50/50 I'll want to return/exchange but no one floor-stocks much at a time anymore.

*install MM7 without a hitch* "Ok, here I go! ... 'clickclick' ... wait, how do I move in this game again." *mashes random keys* *looks at configuration sheet* "Nope, that's attack, that's cast spell, that's next turn, that's...wait that's a strange key configuration if I have to click on stuff..." ...a few minutes later... "Oh ... BOTH hands on the keyboard, no mouse. That's right. Games were like that once. How quaint."

It's not a kewl pic or anything, but I just wanted to say: When you use a big screen, sometimes when you pause the game, look away then look back, it's like being startled by Norman Reedus live, in my room. I'm not sure how I feel about that, but that's what it's like.

I'm craving RPG lately too, just a different type. So I'm going to install Might and Magic 7 (GoG version this time, not CD) and see how well it works on Win10. Been years. Can't be evviiillll but you can pick dark magic, which is the best magic. Running around Souldrinking everything in sight was a blast.

It's important to note that one should look for games that have DLSS 2.00 or higher. I was scratching my head when that linked article listed FF-XV in the little box of contents stating "DLSS 2 games" at the top of the article. Because it's not. If you scroll way way down to the actual entry for it, they mention (correctly) that what FF-XV uses is still a very early version of DLSS, possibly even a late beta of it. And it looks like butt. I mean I suppose on smaller resolutions or if you aren't all that picky/attuned to image clarity or sit far back, it's not the worst in the world and you'd get a fps boost but far as I'm concerned, FF-XV in 4k with DLSS looks like someone put a pixel blurring or oversharpening filter over everything - no-DLSS/natively High-Max looks tons better. So don't buy FFXV just to try DLSS. lol Anyway ... DLSS 2+ good. Games that have earlier versions and that aren't likely to ever be upgraded/updated ... only good if you're desperate for that 10-20 more fps just to play, but not good for looks.
