Well, that is more usefull than I had thought. But my question was not *what* force sight was usefull for, it was(or would have been if I had proofread my post better) "Why are framebuffer effects *required* for force sight to have *any* effect in game". From that screenshot I can see no reason for force sight to be non-functional (err...you know what I mean...right?) in your game if your GFX card can't manage frame buffer effects.

The armor you're wearing could restrict your dexterity bonus, thereby reducing your base defence.

I don't think that the rest of the audiance would appreciate that.. Mmm, I thought it was around 4-5 years for eps.4-6.

Agreed, you should prob'ly save up your money for a bit longer while still looking for a good deal on some of the better GFX cards from ATi and Nvidia. unfortunatly I can't remember any specific good mid-range cards off the top of my head right now... (I have a GF4MX440, and while you *can* run games like Doom 3 with one, you'll have to do a lot of tweaking and messing with RAM/GFX settings to get a *good* framerate)
