No idea but I wouldn't expect it to be as long as FNV for example as I wouldn't expect there to be as much filler material. It's probably more in line with AP, so 12 hours doesn't sound like a bad estimate. It doesn't bother me if it's got replay value, then I prefer it without the filler. Complete speculation here..

One week to go! Who is excited!?

You deserve a medal. -
Probably was, though I'm not arguing that, just that Athens was the pinnacle for Liberalism yet you still got put to death for having certain views. Not arguing the opposite isn't also true, just that there's a certain level of forgetfulness or oversight when the heavy hand of justice comes from one group than the other.
-
Conservative groups were censoring before liberalism and progressiveness were even accepted concepts. In part it's due to conservative groupings naturally being the ones in power and seeking to protect that, in part it's due to ideology. To argue the quote above you have to, for example, redefine the Roman Catholic Church, Inquisition era, as liberals and progressives. Which is somewhat difficult to do. Eppur si muove, fra'. Of you could look to Athens, hypocrisy at it's finest. Also interesting how progressives label anything right wing as fascism when the Nazis learned eugenics from progressives. You could say they dislike the Nazis for giving a bad name to their cause since the shared ideology.

Anyone else think its ironic that censorship has become a liberal value? No. "Liberals" or "Progressives" have always seeked to censor/prohibit in the name of "social justice". It's only in modern day that "conservatives" are seen as that group.

Excited for sure. One of the few games in recent times that seems to have a fun, console-y appeal. That's why I'm getting it on PS3, no PC buy for this game(until it becomes cheap on Steam atleast). -
Stick of Truth has gone gold

Just a little over a week to go. Congrats to the devs at Obsidian for getting this game out. Looks like tons of fun to be had. -
It's just too easy to forgive America for it's spying. They only do it for the good, to catch the bad, right Brucey?

Popcorn flick? I'll take that over pseudo old school RPG's which would fall under the category of pretentious French film.
-
Been waiting for this one.. People can moan about the failure of AAA games and whine that they aren't like their precious old school games while I'll be enjoying it till the cows come home.
-
Yet Nintendo makes the same games repackaged with the same characters from the 80s, no less.
-
Agreed. A spiritual successor to AP with a female lead sounds pretty great though. The marketing campaign would probably have to be sexy though, with decent sized melons to maximize sales.

^Indeed. Kickstarters need another sales pitch besides going the easy route of attempting to tear down successful/mainstream games. In the future of crowd funding they'll be attempting to tear down past successful Kickstarters. Besides, they might not have magic, but it's still yet another game in a Middle Age setting. Yawn.

Bethesda? Mere amateurs. That's more like Tim Langdell of Edge fame. There have been games out before with Candy in the title. Not many, but a few. Considering that game is apparently just Bejeweled, but with candy instead - They should shut the heck up and enjoy those revenues while they last. Saga is the most ridiculous piece of horse poop ever. There are litterally hundreds of games already out with "Saga" in the title. Square Enix has an entire series of games named Saga, or SaGa. (Unlimited Saga used a small 'g') King.com should replace EA for this years video game representative for Worst Company. Then Jerry "The King" Lawler should sue King.com for everything they have, because everyone knows Jerry is the King (dot com.) I agree the **** out of every letter and total hostility within this post.

As far as I know, you can't pre-order it yet. Guess he'll have to wait for it to be pre-orderable, pre-order it, and then cancel the pre-order. I'll do it then post a screenshot of that ****. Sounds epic.
-
Yeah, the Wii was crap. A fad. I'll never forget my local paper having an article that kept calling it the "Ninnento Weave".
-
This is bull****. I'm canceling my order.
-
My point exactly.
-
I didn't say it should be. It's exactly what the people who backed asked for. Old schoolers love to make fun of today's games, so here is their average isometric game. Lol
-
I don't see how it really can. If you go old school with your design, you're not exactly trying to break new ground in the first place and I don't think they had that in mind to begin with. Imagine all of the upset old schoolers/backers if the designers deviate from the norm and try something revolutionary - it's not even what the backers asked for. Nostalgia > invention.
-
That's what I've expected out of all of these games. How can an isometric game break new ground? The best it can do is mimic gameplay of old, which is what 95% of RPG fans spend their lives longing for.
-
Yeah, that's the only type DLC I really like, but if you get one you pretty much have to get the other since they're related, no? (Brigmore Witches/Knife of Dunwall)... Lol, they really know how to get the most out of their DLC - haven't even played the original game yet there's 2 dlc's I'm tempted to already buy. That's kind of messed up - having to buy DLC to really enjoy the franchise. Smh.
-
Wonder if the DLC is even worth it. Most times I don't even use it and it's just a waste. I have yet to even install Dishonored tho, so it'll be a while before I find if I even like the game enough to get the DLC.
