Mad Scientists create Zombie Dogs!
It's funny Roger, I was thinking the exact same thing. And also one the last note by a "battlefield doctor", so are they planning on using this on soldiers or what? Get shot up, die, drive em home to base and revive em. Now that would indeed be creepy. I'm not a religious man, I dislike religion with all my heart, but I do believe in the soul. Oh and dogs do have souls, at least I'm confident that mine did.

The War of the Worlds
Well, if you're thinking about Bittrichs Panzer Division, "Das Reich" which was SS, I'd have to ask if you'd go with or without the SS lightning bolts? I think this has a lot to do with whatever reaction you might encounter out there among non damaged people. :D Yeah, I heard they removed the swastikas, and the Iron Cross is a wartime medal only obviously, so I think they'd use em again if Germany was to go to war.

The War of the Worlds
-Here is the aerial recognosaince photos, General. It clearly shows a group of tanks from the 2nd Panzer division, should we abort? -No, no, rubbish! Those are probably broken or left there for some reason! proceed as planned. note: I saw a photo of Willi Bittrich(commander of the 2nd Waffen-SS Panzerdivision) having dinner with another general in the 1960's and he was still wearing his Knight's cross! :D <{POST_SNAPBACK}> I gather you and I share the same odd fascination for German WW2 military (not the death camps, of course), I just read that he also received the Knights Cross, which is somewhat more difficult to get, to say the least, only some 7000 was awarded compared to the several million Iron Crosses. If I'd been awarded one of these, I'd wear it till the day I died. :D

What's your favorite gun?
Yeah I read about the Type 98 countermeasures, including a laser system which tries to blind the optics of enemy anti-tank missiles locking on to them, forcing the turret to swing in the direction of the danger, and possibly damaging the eyesight of the hostile gunner as well. Hax!

I've never heard of any of those, they're still in early experimental phase I assume? Anyway, I'll boost my defence by playing the T90: The mother of modern tanks, this baby makes the M1A2 and Leopard2A5 cry uncle! Oh and it flies.

If they were guilty of genocide, yes, if not then no more than any allied fighting unit. As for the escaped war criminals, well there's a flip side to that coin, there's some famous allied warcrimes that has gone unpunished to this day, including the firebombing of Dresden ordered by "Bomber Harris" , and the dual nuking of Japan. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> My understanding of Skorzeny's escape from "justice" is that British OSS officers pointed out that he had nothing during the war that they had not done, except perhaps done it more succesfully and on higher profile targets. I thought he was acquitted fair and square. As for the Allied war crimes, I'd disagree, except on the Dresden bombing which was utterly pointless. The dual nuking of Japan is very popular, and important so we don't nuke anything else if possible, but compared with the alternative I think it was pretty much the best of bad set of options. But we could argue about that forever. So, my least favourite gun - strategic bombing offensives. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Indeed, the Allies claimed that Skorzeny and his men were war criminals because they had used allied uniforms at the before mentioned battle (I guess they had little else to try and pin on him), but then some British Spec Ops commander stepped forward and went like "Heh guys, we've done the same thing, chill..." Well, I just don't think nuking anyone is acceptable, but I do know that the alternative was a very high price in lives for the allies. I'm glad that you agree with me on Dresden though.

What? Perhaps they're enjoying themselves, there's nothing wrong with taking pleasure in your work. EDIT: Oh and I read about Otto before, he's kinda cool. But really the fighting part of the SS, the Waffen, shouldn't be compared to those of the death head formations despite them all being Nazies.
