Just beat the game at 45 hours 40 minutes. Wow... what an awesome game! I can't wait for ME 3 now. I ended up losing Zaeed. Have no idea what choices lead to that. This must be a first for a Bioware game... you can keep playing after beating the game and talk to the crew and finish up any remaining missions... nice!

How would that even work? Is there an exhaust pipe or something for that? With Tali? Well, she is eagerly searching for some sort of anti-biotics for our rendezvous. In ME1 I didn't see why so many people were into the character. She was actually one of the characters I was LEAST interested in for ME2 but after speaking with her and doing her missions I've found she's probably the most likable romancable character in ME2. That's not a shot at the characters of ME 2. She's just so much more interesting in this one and it was a bit of a surprise.

I have a feeling they are going to count it as 'cheating' in ME3. I was going to stay true to Ash, but after the meeting with her I decided to go for Tali... after some massive flirting with anything that had breasts and two legs.

This shouldn't be considered a spoiler, but you get him during a main story quest, so you can't miss 'em. Its a shame you can't trade resources for credits, or other resources. In any future replays I'm ONLY going to resource hunt after getting a blueprint. I've got all upgrades now and tons of extra resources.

As Deraldin said, you need 100 ammo to fire. Also, you have to hold the fire button down for quite awhile (about 5-10 seconds). This may sound extreme, but this will pretty much wipe out a room.

Another of the many things I love about this game is the pacing. I'm approaching 40 hours of gameplay and it has almost all been spent either in dialogue or doing missions. ME1 took up a lot of time driving around or riding in elevators. ME2 does have the time suck of planet scanning, but I haven't spent that long on scanning either.

Just checked them and it is that Keythe Farley. First time in Mass Effect 1 or 2 that I've run into a character that I wish I could swap the main characters voice for. Again, I think he just sounds familiar to me because he sounds a lot like Lance Henrikson.

http://www.imdb.com/name/nm0267660/ Is that really the voice actor? Or is that the placeholder that was replaced? I don't recognize any previous work yet his voice sounds so damn familiar. Maybe its just that it sounds like Henrikson and it makes me think I know the voice from somewhere...

Anyone know the voice actor for the Thane assassin character is? He almost sounds like Lance Henrikson. IMDB doesn't list him unfortunately. Its driving me nuts because I know I just played/watched something with this actor in it...

Another way of reducing the monotony of resource gathering would be the ability to trade resources. It obviously wouldn't/shouldn't be a 1:1 ratio, as Iridium is everywhere, Palladium is fairly common, Platinum is fairly rare and Dark Energy is very rare. I'd love to be able to trade some of my massive stockpiles of Iridium for Platinum.

Quite a nice night for a walk. http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/23521649/ns/te...pace/?GT1=43001

I've noticed she has some fantastic... assets. They really should have fixed the resource gathering. There needs to be another upgrade to speed it up even faster. Better yet, when in scan mode the planets need a 'fog of war'. Light up locations you have scanned so you can tell what you have done. You can take a methodic approach and start at the top, working your way down or whatever... but its sooo boring. Pretty much my biggest complaint about this otherwise fantastic game.

I might be wrong, but I'm pretty sure Liara isn't a companion option.

GTA IV The Lost & Damned & The Ballad of Gay Tony will be coming to PC & PS3 on March 30th. If you don't have a 360 and enjoyed GTA IV I can't recommend these enough. Hopefully, RockStar's upcoming Agent will be as 'exclusive' to the PS3 as these DLC were to the XBox. http://ps3.ign.com/articles/106/1065007p1.html

I hope they don't force you into the endgame. As one of those OCD types I'd like to complete all the missions and upgrades before tackling the end. I finally got to test out the nuke gun. I was having some horrible trouble with this large enemy. I died a couple of times, broke the gun out and blew it to hell... it was awesome.

I found a good compromise. Some sort of headphone armor that looks pretty cool, shows the face and gives a bonus (to accuracy I think). As far as I know that seedy section of the wards is the only place in the Citadel you can visit. I got the dialogue when I was walking from one level to another on the stairs. Probably what made Garrus think of elevators. As for Tali, you eventually have to find her as part of the main story... so don't worry about missing her, its impossible. You find your buddies in waves. So once you find all of this first group you will be given a new group to find.

Just took Garrus & Tali to the Citadel. Garrus: Do you ever miss those conversations we would have on the elevators? Tali: NO! This conversation is over. I have a shotgun. Garrus: Uh, maybe we'll talk later.

I tried the Renegade interrupt with 'the turian' and I didn't earn Renegade points for it. I just did it to try it, then reloaded and continued on my Paragon path, but I wish that I had done it because it changed the outcome of the confrontation.

I don't think I've been looking forward to a game this much before. I think this will be the closest realization of my fantasy of being the nameless guy/blondie from the dollars trilogy. http://www.gametrailers.com/video/gameplay...-red-dead/61318 -

You actually don't have unlimited sprint stamina. If you keep sprinting Shep will start huffing and puffing and eventually be unable to run for a period of time. They've simply removed the stamina meter and replaced it with heavy breathing, the kind girls get from stalkers over the telephone.

But... letting the hostages die WAS the 'bad/renegade' choice. Also, by sacrificing the hostages, didn't you end up killing him? I don't remember well as my first ME playthrough was over a year ago and that was with renegade shep and I don't remember the exact outcome (Just checked Gamebanshee walkthrough. If you make the Renegade choice he ends up either dead or imprisoned.). Do imported renegade Sheps get any news about Bring Down the Sky? Also, IF ME2 does have an encounter with him again, whos to say hostages will be involved a second time?
-
I'm wondering if it will turn into more than a news announcement. I let the terrorist Batarian go to save the hostages in ME1 and it mentioned him in the news report. Maybe I'll get a chance to take him down at some point...

So Australians only like big breasts... so what's the problem?

Love this show and I can't wait to see it wrapped up!

I LOVE how your choices carry over into ME2. I've run into so many characters and news announcements about specifics that I chose in the original game. At first I suspected the game detected my Paragon status, and simply repeated Paragon outcomes to quests, but I have yet to hear any sort of give away about a situation I handled differently. It all matches up so far.
