  1. So far there is no official stance as of yet, so I'm going to say okay for mod discussion for the time being. That may change, so be aware.
  2. Back to corners. When you come out, I want this thread back on topic!
  3. No point to it, really. You knew he was the enemy.
  4. Hee hee hee, truly, truly the collectible customizable card game is a true symbol of geekdom. And yes, I still have my old cards, too!!! LOL Would I buy more for KoTOR or TSL? Nah, I have enough gaming material I can't ever play with.
  5. I was just using that as a metaphorical example, not a literal one. The point I was trying to make is often you end up with many heavy items that you do think you may need, particularly on one of the first run throughs of the game, because you don't KNOW what you'll need. No, I tend not to carry 10 of the same heavy item around. But in certain weight-critical games, it didn't matter, I still had too much to carry. And no real big help with the helpful vehicles you mention in games like Baldur's Gate. Travelling light...well...let's see, yes. Of course. You try to travel as light as you possibly can in ANY weight critical game. You disperse as much as you can, and try to store it. All of that takes time away from me actually playing the game. If I want an item because I think I may need it later, I'd rather stick it in inventory and forget about it until that time. That way I have it, I don't have to worry about backtracking for it, dumping another item for it, or completely redistributing everyone's loads because of it. I much prefer KoTOR's methods, which assume you've done all that already and let you get to the darned game already.
  6. Yup yup, devs have already said that no toolset for K2 will be happening. Have a nice day!
  7. Hey, guys, on topic.
  8. FYI, this thread will not be allowed further speculation into that.
  9. Excellent question, I've asked and let you know.
  10. Putting it into syndication would only give them the exclusive rights to it for a limited time, after which it would be on a bid basis, unless they paid up to keep it to themselves. Skiffy is well known for doing this with many cult series, buying up all the syndication rights and then sinking the show itself into impossible time slots to eventually shelve it completely. It happened with Seaquest and Highlander: The Series. In other words, Skiffy is run by flatulating buttheads.
  11. Well, they had the Black Vulkar Stun Batons in the first one, but they ended up killing people too...*sigh* Someone who you did knock out coming back at a later time would be a pretty cool sidequest or even minour incident.
  12. Unfortunately, this isn't a new season, merely a mini-series geared to give us closure after the Skiffy Rape. Henson has financed nearly the entire thing. So far as I know, Showtime and HBO are interested in acquiring the rights for another season, but will not do so unless Skiffy releases the past eps as well, which they've already stated they will not do. Neither are they going to attempt to get the show into syndication for general broadcast. The trailer looks, as Phosphor said, FRELLING AWESOME! I so cannot wait. *makes note of he who said he did not like Farscape for careful watching in the future*
  13. I went with the second option, as well. Were it better implemented, I would have used it more. Or at all.
  14. I'm not crazy about it because while, yes, it is realistic, it does interfere with my actual enjoyment of the game. Things like limited item slots, as well, do the same. It's just a personal thing. I find it annoying that I have to take time out from fighting/story forwarding/character development in order to decide whether I want to keep the bracers or the breastplate.
  15. Well, SG2k, the reason I visit is because I'm kind of supposed to. If y'all like, feel free to start a Wookiee thread in Off Topic, but please do not keep up the discussion here.
  16. This is applied in your to hit bonus with the weapon.
  17. *despises games that use how much you carry to affect your movement rate* While it is true in the sense of RPGs, I still dislike it immensely. And there's always Force Speed.
  18. I wouldn't mind if they did decide to use a male Revan for a movie, it's tradition in the SW genre that the leads are male, so there's that precedent.
  19. Well, one of the things I noticed in the demo was they did a lot more of the "You feel the Dark power of this place" type stuff, and gave you the opportunity to either try to cleanse it, ignore it, or revel in it. Something along those lines would have been better, I think, for the Star Maps than a flat out DS point gain.
  20. Er...this is kind of spammy, so... Locked.
  21. Man, did they leave the Nair on too long with that guy or something? Yikes. As far as MSG, I refuse to entertain any theories, I don't wanna know yet!
  22. I also have to go with the wait and see approach. While I do trust the creators of PS:T, I am somewhat worried that Sion may be more gimmicky than substantial as a bad guy.
