  1. How so? He lived a long life. He probably had plenty of kids.
  2. But that's the beuaty of it. The Exile was no longer a part of the force. He was outside of it. It cannot directly control him, and so he is free of destiny. My brain seems to have farted flat, so I can't remember any quotes to back me up on this, so I'll have to wait until I have time to replay a few parts. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Not so. The Exile was still intact with Destiny. Why does everybody ignore Choice? If there wasn't Choice, then the Jedi Code would be worthless. Nobody can predict the future. Why? Because it's not permanent until it happens! Yoda and every other Oracle in SW says this! Destiny is flawed, or peoples outlook on it is. Kreia was looking for somebody outside of the Force, not Destiny. Nowhere does it say that he is free from destiny. Nowhere does it say that he has more Choice than anybody else. Everybody has a choice in how to fulfill it. I think even Vodo Siask-Baas told Exar that some difficult CHOICES were headed his way. Everybody has a pivotal moment (or several) where their choices and those around them (even those BEFORE them) determine what is going to happen. There is too many stimuli (internal and external) for destiny to remain a constant. And don't try to pull the fact that no matter what/who Revan was, everything turns out the same. You don't actually expect them to make a game for every scenario, do you? They did the best they could.
  3. Ceylan, you do realize that Kreia isn't REALLY behind you, telling you to chastise Kunai for doing what I had intended on doing from the beginning, right? No offense, of course. However, I am thankful for Kunai for addressing several topics without delving into outright controversy (Nihilus=Exile; Kreia=Genious/Psychopath). I fear that soon some people will show up and say how bad Kotor II was, and that the Rakata were actually slaves to the Sith Species, and that the Unknown World was actually a Sith Stronghold...
  4. Was that directed at me? As to your theory: Feel free to stick to it. All we have is theories right now, and yours only slightly deviates from what I've picked up in my 800+ save files. I can't wait to see what goes on in Kotor III, if LA is brave enough to show their face after the "Dreaded Deadline Epidemic" of 2004.
  5. Umm... HOLY COW! Last time I checked the post, 17 were Male-Male, 29 Female-Female... Now it's 50+ for each, with M-M in the lead... Sorry for the off topic, just wanted to keep everybody posted. I'll delete if necessary... I want Revan to be a guy, don't care bout the Exile, but would PREFER a male... I would like to see some unfair advantages for female PC's in the next game though... the Handmaiden thingy wasn't very fair...
  6. Deep. We see an example of such in Kotor I, with the Great Hunt-ers. That one lady wants vengeance for her dead lover, and ignores an extra set of tracks. As she goes up against them, all she sees is Darkness. A little off topic, but I think that Revan's and Bastila's love should be, or have been, approved. It saved both of them (assuming Revan was an LS male). Jolee says something about this, and says that Love can save people as often as Destroy them. It's the manipulative ones that twist Love into something Dark. The 'pure love' (like the one shared by Revan and Bastila ) can only help. Look at Bastila. All she wishes for is understanding. Revan managed to leave her, after all. She has not yet felt rage or loss. She knows that Revan had intent, etc...
  7. Well, the LS Exile is rumored to have been able to 'heal' by 'healing' worlds. And, besides, the Assassins' technique works on enemies too. If anything, the Exile should be stronger than ever, with 2 Sith Lords and the 'elite' in the Sith at the Academy... That is where I found your statement flawed. The Exile inadvertantly 'taught' them how to do this, and they can suck the power from those around them, friends and enemies. The Exile further twists it, though, by his Force Bonds. Others follow him, and he has easier access to their powers. Who said Force Bonds are determined by distance? If this were true, then Kreia killing herself at Trayus Core would be almost worthless, except for being the Final Echo that would wipe out life. I don't think that Kreia actually expected the Exile to die if she does. The Exile survived thousands of such situations during the Wars, but she needed some way to get DS Exile to follow... I like the rest of your posts, as far as I have read.
  8. Found another error. Kreia wasn't YET a 'master' of Sith teachings, and then she was, and then she went twisted and self-destructive, so... Revan went to Kreia for knowledge about how to best leave the Order, and she helped him along, perhaps with a Sith Map or somesuch... Then Revan went to Malachor V (in my fanfic that I'm working on, found Malachor's holocron ), and learned Sith teachings there. I can find ingame quotes, if you want.
  9. I'm not sure what you meant, but from what I understood, your not entirely true. The Exile was NEVER strong in the Force. He is like the Assassins. The stronger those around him, the stronger he becomes... That said, he seems like a form of physical Battle Meditation manifestation. Battle Meditation strengthens those around the user (if they so choose), or can sap their strenght, or, in extreme cases like Nomi Sunrider (and later Bastila??? It's possible.) confuse your enemies into attacking eachother. The Exile does this, but is strenghtened when those around him are also strong... It's like the paradox: "To have strength, one must have an army, but to have an army, one must be strong." Just pointing this out. Sorry for breaking your most interesting chain of explanations. If you never want me to speak up and point out an error, let me know.
  10. Nope, the Republic actually never made sure that the Sith were dead. Good guys or no, they still no about running an Army, especially before the Jedi Order became a team of overspeculating shortsited people. The Order was actually an Order of Knights that actually DID something when there was trouble. In the comics, it says that the Republic fleet left after Sadow blew the star, figuring that that was his suicide gift, not knowing that he had survived. They had suffered intense losses, and retreated to repair the damage done to mainly the Empress Teta system(s). I personally wouldn't mind True Sith to return, but I would like this to be their REAL end, IF (and again IF) the True Sith are Sith Species. For all we know they could be highly developed Nihilus's that can actually fight back... I know it may be cliche, but there are only so many twists there can be, after all? Besides, no evil army has ever returned from the brink of extinction, kicked butt, and died for good. Granted the Mandies did something like that, but not to the extent of any True Sith out there... So what if there is a comic about them? There's comics about the Old Republic, yet when Kotor was announced, I really wanted to PLAY as a Jedi or Dark Jedi in the times of the Great Ones. Granted, it's actually a thousand years later, but it hit really close to the mark, and I like it. I wouldn't mind killing an army of un-mutated Massassi, personally. (Scary thing is, I have the code for those 2 smilies memorized...) Logic ALSO says that who said all the Sith Lords were killed? Surely there must be some that hate both Kressh and Sadow... And, even if they were, a Ruler would soon emerge, like the Mandalorians.
  11. Alaric, what program do you use to mod? Off topic, I know... But I would like to start doing a bit of modding myself.
  12. The Sith never came to Candy Man, they came to the current Mandalore... As for the Sidious thing: Sidious' Sith Order was reconstructed to be stealth, and to preserve the Dark Side, which in itself is flawed. They took out the whole principle to being a Sith, and made them an Order of cowards... The Ancient Sith were much more powerful, because techniques were new, and not yet forbidden.
  13. Well, here I am again. Let's refer to the Sith Species as 'Blood', for Blood Sith. The Dark Jedi will be Lords, as that is the position the original 'crusaders' took when they found the Bloods. Sith will be a generic term used for both. Okay. Here it goes. The Lords left the Republic, and found Korriban, with all of the little Bloods. The Bloods used the Force, but had a VERY limited knowledge and discipline to use it like the Lords, so the Lords quickly became rulers. Over time, the tales of Jedi and the Republic were consigned to ancient holocrons and scary stories used at Sith hiking trips. But then came Marka Ragnos, a true genious. He actually delved into Sith knowledge, including these ancient holocrons. He heard tell of a powerful Empire and even more powerful guardians called Jedi. He knew that if the Sith ever expanded into this strange Empire, then it would start a war, and the Sith would end up loosing. So, using his Revan-like genious, he manipulated others to hate him, due to his anti-expansionistic outlook. He believed in strengthening what they had, before taking more. He used his power(s) to manipulate his enemies into killing eachother, so that the common Sith power struggles actually became a way for him to preserve the Sith. Then he died, and Naga Sadow and Ludo Kressh both went for power. They fought at Ragnos' funeral, and he appeared and warned them. He told them to choose their fights wisely, and that something was about to happen. Sadow, being a brash genious, ignored him. Then came Gav and Jeri (???), two hyperspace explorers. Sadow used his misplaced genious, and saw a whole new Empire for the Sith to conquer. All of Ragnos' efforts, in the end, only delayed the inevitable. The rest of Sadow's story has become an almost cliche, so I'll skip ahead to the Final Battle of the Great Hyperspace War. Sadow fled the Republic's fleet, but ran into Kressh's. Kressh, whom Sadow had thought dead, attacked the Dark Lord (This makes one wonder. Who was the real traitor, Sadow for screwing the Empire, or Kressh for continuing it?). During the battle between the two's fleets, the Republic showed up, and pulled a classic Star Wars moment, and killed most of the fleet. But then Sadow turned and ran, using much of his remaining power to implode a star, discontinuing the Republic's chase. He and his remaining Massassi fled to Yavin IV, and waited. BUT, whose to say that one of Kressh's people didn't survive? Nobody ever made sure that the Sith were dead, so... My guess is that a few Sith were on a Sith World, waiting for Kressh's or Sadow's orders to come. Perhaps they stayed waiting for a beacon, and Kreia just set one off. Or, they got separated from Sadow in his flight, and retreated to a Sith World, rebuilding, but being careful about where they conquered, in fear of sounding off about their presence. Who knows, except Obsidian?
  14. I'm boycotting Lucas Arts until Kotor III comes out COMPLETE. I mean, a few cut death scenes at the end (like Carth's in Kotor I) are okay, but they left out a few key chunks, but I'm not complaining much. It was fun, but I want the Third to be another Kotor, and not an expansion pack (complement: Kotor was the best game in a while, and Kotor II did its best)
  15. Didn't Cassus Fett die taking a bath, or was that somebody else?...
  16. Have you even PLAYED Kotor I yet? I just talked to the two computers by the Rakata. They had an empire spanning dozens of worlds, and trillions of slaves, the Sith Species being one. The Rakata weren't always un-Force Sensitive. Talk to the Elders, and they talk about the "good old days". If you have played Kotor I, then you only listened to the uncultured One of the Barbarian Tribes. The Elders have a MUCH more modern view, and were the ones that invented the Star Forge and used it in the first place. The Sith Species NEVER left their planet (Korriban was the original home world, I believe). Therefore, they never even SAW the Star Forge. The Builders built and ran their Infinite Empire, with the ONLY possibility of a betrayal by the Blood Sith was when they were wiped out by a disease. Dude, you REALLY need to play through and check your sources. I just replayed the whole Rakatan Planet, and your theory is WAY off. WAYWAYWAYWAYWAY off. I hate ignorance... I really do...
  17. Greedo shot, then Han shot him, as far as I could see.
  18. I think that a portion of your idea may have earned its way into my fanfic... I'll let you know if I do use, and which portion I use, ok? Some of your ideas are messed up. One piece of advice: Trash the stargate.
  19. I only got the Jedi to get 100 % Mastery, all the else weren't...
  20. Please, if you put the name was just chosen, tell by whom and when/how. I think I'll end up having Malachor discover the system...
  21. Ummm... What's a synopsis? :"> I like all but the ending. It sounded kinda cool, even if a bit cheesy...
  22. I said that talking about leaving the Order, falling, etc. brought up my thoughts on the 'Grey' side... Sorry to stray from the OT...
  23. I'd prefer if they don't go DS. I worked hard to get Exile and Revan to defy the Council for what they believe. Umm... This brings up another topic, I feel. People, Grey Jedi are just Jedi that aren't in the Order! They either continue to do good, or they become Dark Jedi. In SW, there is no in-between. Even Jolee served the Light.
