  1. A side-warning to you guys: My character bio/history will be pretty significantly different from anything I've put down here as of yet. I don't want to push anyone, but do we have an estimate as to when we'll actually get started?
  2. Ahh, right... I didn't look at it closely enough. Sorry about that.
  3. I think I'll like Halo 2 better, going off the first of each series. Half-Life 2 has potential for me to really like it, as it sounds like it takes a somewhat role-playing approach to action, and is generally a little less comic-bookish and heavier.
  4. IT WAS A JOKE!! Christ, I'm really horrible at this, or people just don't know how to take my comments in a lighter manner. I was also making fun of the first game. I mean, seriously - did she have detachable boobs or something? I know star wars technology is advanced, but that's just wierd... EDIT: Wrong hip shape, too.
  5. Arg.. urrr... ugg.... *shoots himself*
  6. Ahh, right... the Holy Grail, the effeminate boys dad...
  7. It may have been augmented by the star forge.
  8. Right. People don't like abstract concepts. Sorry I brought it up. Did I sound serious? I mean pissed? Because I wasn't. Did I offend someone by stating my opinion? Oh, crap - I'm sorry, but I DON'T REALLY CARE.
  9. Doesn't excuse not making an automatic animation. Matter's of time, money, and feasibility would though.
  10. Also remember that a significant portion of the original fleet went to the outer rim and became sith. They could very well have brought the mainstay of the fleet, which would include the main ships, without the republic complaining to much because there wasn't a major threat - just common brigands and such which could be well enough taken care of by such hammerhead vessels. I don't even faintly agree the medical looking room is Sith, though. Maybe if I saw proof of that, or you gave a better reason than, "Shiny floor." From what I can tell, the room is cast in blue light, and the floor is one of the brighter objects there. Even so, it could be an OLD sith ship, which you were captured on long ago and abandoned. They could have been twisting your body or using your force energy or somesuch, thus why they wouldn't kill you.
  11. And I'm getting sick of this: Just because I have a gun, lawfully owned and licensed, do I have the right to arbitrarily blast you through the back of the skull with it? It's mine to do with as I wish, man - tough. Ok, so he has the physical right, but it's obnoxious and I think if he has the right to piss on his fans like that, we can piss right back. Fundamentally, it has nothing to do with rights - it's who hurts who. Now, it's a good thing if we can accept those things and thus get along a little better, but... Also: He's not around, He's not watching us to make sure we don't bad talk him. I would be perfectly respectful if he was.
  12. Part of it's just unintelligible nonsense. Ignore that part of it.
  13. At least allow us to reload just before that sequence.
  14. What women? I think he means the white haired woman from the Lucas TSL site. Which sounds painful indeed because my PC will be a male to start the game. Who would have known a sex change is the key to the light side of the force. Good thing for me and my PC I enjoy the Dark side. Cheers! How do you know the guy behind the mask is a guy? Maybe it's a girl... after all, Revan's model was very distinctly masculine in walk and style, and that could be female...
  15. I think the idea was that they weren't going to focus on a twist, but on making a good story. There could still be a twist, but it would be up to who you asked whether or not that was a twist.
  16. I'd be interested in seeing visible differences in stances, but I don't care for them being like Malak or Revan's stance necessarily - those have already been used.
  17. I don't notice anything particularly unique about the architecture in that room with the x-rays and broken device in the center. (I could be bad at seeing that, though) I think the one where the guy is walking with a saber looks very Sith-like, maybe even a sister ship to the Leviathan.
  18. Are you trying to be inflammatory? Let me put it this way: You said something that contradicted what someone said, and I did the same thing. There's no difference. I didn't say anyone was wrong for suggesting anything, anywhere, bud.
  19. I was speculating on why that speculation would be wrong Just as you were doing, from what I can see, though you might think my other posts should lead you to think otherwise...
  20. I didn't say that proved anything against your theory. I was offering that this was a bacta tank, which isn't the same thing as saying, "that stupid, ur gay" or somesuch. Yes, he has a lightsaber in one of the screenshots - maybe he finds one as he searches around, and this happens at a point after he finds the lightsaber? The thing is, IF a breakout happened, it would be unexpected. I doubt they'd make a habit of busting their patients out of bacta tanks instead of, say, simply lifting them out. So if this were indeed a bacta tank or somesuch, and the prisoner were busted out prematurely, doesn't it make sense that no medical beds would be around in preparation? (assuming that's how it works; they move the beds in when the patient wakes up) And THAT's to assume it's a bacta tank, and not some sort of cryogenic storage. I could imagine rows and rows of rooms, with a cryogenically frozen prisoner in each, none with medical beds, as patients wouldn't be a regular thing there - and, as I offered before, they would bring in the stretchers and such to revive the prisoner, if the stretchers were even necessary. It could also be just one room of a medical facility, where normal patients are elsewhere in medical beds, and this one bacta tank/cryogenic freeze/whatever else is for this patient alone. But no, your suggestion is fine.
  21. Sort of. At least it's not the PC, anyway. But I doubt they'd make Kreia Jolee's former wife. You make too many connections, the game just becomes contrived and self-referential.
  22. Maybe Peragus is Sith-controlled, or the ship you wake up on - consequently docked on Peragus - is Sith. The lack of medical beds possibly goes further to show how this breakout was unexpected. Maybe the Sith captured you. Maybe scientists were studying you. It doesn't go far to explain that that couldn't be a bacta tank, and you don't start off there, but hey. They might very well have been studying an alien life form, and that alien life form broke out of it's containment tank.
  23. I'm not sure if you'd have any idea about this, but I had problems with my PC (fairly high-end, though running on a PCI video card) hiccuping in the first game moreso than the X-box version ever did. Do you have any idea if that will possibly be different in the sequel? Is the engine more optimized for performance in the PC version this time around?
  24. I think he's talking about intermediate resolutions, as I think 1280 by 800 or whatever is. I don't have a copy with me, otherwise I'd check, but I'm fairly certain it lacked support for resolutions that were unusual - thus the, "widescreen" resolution bit of the topic. Could be wrong, though.
