Well to have Canderous (ie. a main Char) talking Mandalorian alien is not exactly a positive thing, and then to have one Mandalorian speak basic but none of the others talk it would be weird. I know Mission is one such exception, but the idea was that Twi'leks were everywhere and all in different roles.

I killed the beast like I did any other boss - easy for me apparently, maybe I just got some good rolls. I did Master Speed + Master Valor + Master Critical Strike with my two sabers. I can't remember if I tried a Force Kill or wave or something.

For you it's base 19-20 x 4 = 13-20, then keen it to 11-20. In that Keen post above, my disrupter rifle goes to 5-20... (w00t) , massive HK-47 damage.

Those screenshots.....wow....so much for "theoretically possible" stuff - I can see it all coming together! I am a bit curious at to where each part of the restoration actually is - maybe you should add some more detail on the progess; I think the screenshots are giving me the wrong idea. I couldn't see this happening - why would they? (got any particular reasons are you just very excited.....like me!)

Of the characters I turned into Jedi in my first/only game, Atton and Handmaiden (learnt about it too late for Bao-Dur and Mira cos I thought the whole deal of it was stupid), they started as LS Jedi. and when I first checked on Visas' character screen (straight after defeating her), she was already high LS (which I also found stupid cos of what she just tried to do - she did a double Juhani...)

That is a pretty rare case. I haven't had it happen to me yet (although I'm sure you got many of these other small niggles with K1). Remember that K1 will not have the improvements of K2 like weapon switching and stuff since those were "lessons" from KotOR 1. It's like playing Jedi Outcast after Jedi Academy - argghh, no fancy pants acrobatics!

Maybe I just missed the particular thread, but there doesn't seem to much talk on the KotOR 2 music besides from the fact that the included audio in the game was downmixed too much. Thought I'd start a thread on what people thought of the music composition, like the general tune, theme and all that. If you're a music buff who can't "listen to the notes she's not playing" cos the music quality is too low then well, I probably wouldn't understand you anyway cos I'm not that sort of arty-emotion person. Overall I thought it was OK, not as good as KotOR 1. There were some good bits like the Onderon battle (well, that sample bit in the Restoration thread), but eh...I dunno. The main bit that sticks out for me is that the Jedi theme wasn't very Jedi - it resembled more of a Bastila-style (sad/down) type theme. I guess I found the idea of the LS ending to be as un-LS as the DS theme ("so much for the Jedi"). And still can't believe they didn't use the original Cantina band song anywhere.

Talia does seem more like the LS choice and Valku the DS choice because it involves rebellion and stuff, and he's got the whole power hungry thing. It is your DS game so go DS...

Lots of people like KotOR 2 better than the KotOR 1. I personally like KotOR 1 more than KotOR 2. Have a read of the other threads similar to this and you'll get a good idea of the main reasons. Patch in the works - I'd say yes. Patch coming soon....dunno. I'm not expecting it this but late this month sounds alright - depends on what the patch will do (bugs only, then yes, I'd say this month). It'd be pretty stupid if there was no patch progress to this moment.

Ending it on Dantooine would've been too sudden and remember you'd have party members who I'd assume would look for you. Yes, you could just say Kreia killed them all.... I use to give big rants about the plot - sometimes I still do cos I do have a preferred ending in my head, but for the most part I just think of K2 as "just another Matrix", which is not entirely a bad thing since most of the game is good, and the "sweep" through Trayas at least gives *some* good action at the end.

I usually vary the attributes and skills a bit each game, but I usually play Consular cos I use Force Powers a lot in my fighting. (and that Force Enlightenment for LS is just right for me, granted late in the game).

I think that'd leave an even bigger gap then what has been left already. (and what about Nihilus, Sion and stuff?) I'm all for Atris having a bigger role but I don't see how or why she would want to finish off the Jedi council. She may not be a Jedi but she's not a Sith either. If you want a more complete game, it would've been far easier to just have you rally the Jedi together, meet/save Atris, fight Nihilus, fight Sion, fight Kreia, and so on and on, and keeping the other mastesrs "busy" is not too hard. What plotline exactly are you trying to stop from being introduced - obviously something to do with Malachor.

I've got crappy laptop speakers and even they showed a clear difference.
