  1. (Long post) Thanks for all the bug info! Version v1.0.3 update is out Play KotOR again and see how easy/hard it is. Fixed, I think. Changed the "<=" to "<".
  2. OK, I'll give it a go...again: 1. Go to the Website and download the latest version and the latest update if there is one. 2. Use an archiving program like WinZip, or the Windows inbuilt one and "unzip" all files into a new folder; any new folder you want, which can go anywhere. The folder structure should be preserved. Extract any update files into the folder and overwrite all the old files. As I think I said at the start, this has nothing to do with the KotOR game files. 3. Copy the two font files (.ttf) into your Windows Fonts folder 4. Run the app and click the create butoon to start player creation. Your player should then be the selected one (especially if it's the only one). Click continue. 5. Always go to the options screen and check and your settings first. 6. Play - an Arcade game is usually a good first tester to see if it all works Help/Bugs?/Questions. Go to the Website and see if the problem is solved there first. If not, either send me a message or just post in this thread. Hope this helps . I've done some quick searching but no idea
  3. Oh man, I put myself through that for nothing! That tomb bloody freaked me out (mainly cos I died from ghosts, the force was wacky in there)
  4. Sorry, but we already reached the max. number of stickies... <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Most KotOR players hate pazaak so it wouldn't do much good anyway. Even more reason why people hate Pazaak...it doesn't cheat, but it doesn't make them less tired of losing or more motivation to play Pure Pazaak (unless they enjoy accusing other Humans of cheating). I've had that once - only once. I suggest seeing what happens if you move the OCX file out (incase it interferes/overrides a more compatable Windows copy). If the game doesn't run because you don't have it, try downloading a new version of the file and see what happens - simple Google search gets some results. Mind you I'm not going to cos the bug is so rare for me. Now to get some sleep cos I got Uni today (1:05am )
  5. Look carefully - it's your Highscore. Try clicking the actual button and you'll see.
  6. aaahhh crap..."can I say crap on TV..." Here we go again! OK, 3rd time lucky. The website now has v1.0.2 as a single full package.
  7. Would all pictures with a character in the slave outfit count as cool?
  8. I also think it was bad to have the Masters die either way, even as LS, so LS ending not so LS after all. I was expecting some sort of Jedi vs Sith showdown too (and in typical fashion they get held up and u go to the final fight solo). I do have the perception that K2 made them too much like enemies.
  9. Look for a button labelled "Continue" (look at the website screenshots as a guide). The rule to simplify the program is that you can't trade or start a game without a fully allocated deck first, but even then the buttons are just greyed out, not invisible. If you still have trouble post a screenie.
  10. So much for trying to make the AI better It's a direct connection type thingo. I'm not a network person so I don't know the exact details but here are the steps I use: 1. Find a player and get them in MSN, AOL or whatever 2. The Host-er tells the Join-er their IP and decide on a port to use (same for both players). Remember to check your port forward and firewall settings. 3. Host person starts "listening" first. 4. Joining person clicks join.
  11. Version 1.0.1 is ready to download. Here's the Pure Pazaak page URL again: http://www.k0m3k.htmlz.net/pazaak/ Just as a little warning; it's 2:00am for me now so there's a chance something stupid has skipped past me and into the program - although it played fine for me. So anyway, howz the netplay side of it going?
  12. Version v1.0.1 is coming soon. There is still time (although perhaps not much, check post time but maybe a day or so) to make any last suggestions for the next version. Here are some of the important changes: - Sol'aa's deck is now fixed - Added a special opponent at the end of the campaign - Arcade now starts with 1/4 of your Arcade Highscore (a rather cheesy form of stockpiling credits so you don't chase massive scores starting from 100) - AI* - Modified Campaign Menu (same basic structure though) here are some of the AI enhancements although it's still far from idiot-free and does some of this stuff poorly anyway: - As said before, can now use K2 Gold Cards in general - Can specifically look to play a Tie-Breaker - Can try for a 9-card play/win, mainly with the 2&4 3&6 inverters. - Will compromise carding to 19 rather than 20 Anyway, to people who read this thanks for staying interested. A couple of the changes above were from user input so if you have any suggestions please ask/discuss them! BTW, Anybody having luck with having some Network matches. I play with my cousin every now and again.
  13. I (sort of) disagree. It's true the voice was a major part but other things like her custom/unique robes were big parts of the whole picture and also the romance flirting lines/responses - which I guess lead back to the romance quest and VO actress I suppose. Anyway, the uniqueness like the robes and hair (maybe?), not just the voice. Same for Atris - I hated the voice and game model she ended up with but the art (concept and Aimo's) was there .
  14. Doesn't the Atris thing "sorta" say that romance thing is not fully applicable? Heck you didn't even need to own KotOR 2 to get hooked on her (although Bastila is still better)
  15. I voted Bastila but I 'might' have voted Atris if she was on there - not the ingame version ofcourse.
  16. I agree. K2 = huh, rrrriiigggghhhtt, wtf!?! ESB = what next? The idea that the ending is supposed to ESB style like that is a pretty crummy excuse. They may have gone for ESB style ending but that was not it. If they had all those little questions answered then maybe yes.
  17. Nice to ur covering Male Exile, Visas and Handmaiden side while Aimo is doing female Exile. Oh yeah, great work . I think I'll go oggle Aimo's Atris just for a tiny bit longer...
  18. I've config-ed so I got more posts per page and I'm only up to page 14 . Anyway, great work as always - Atris
  19. Out of those choices, it probably deserves to win, but against other competition it *shouldn't* (but apparently still does) stand a chance. Awards go to final product, not the effort.
  20. Eh well...I guess we're still waiting then, although I think everyone is waiting more for the Restoration Mod rather than the high-content patch. Don't get me wrong, I would love that hi-qual. patch and it will certaintly bring some credit back to LA/Obsidian.
  21. One kinda annoying thing about K2 was how you were always "the Exile". In K1, you didn't even have a name or a title like that, yet it was scripted so well I didn't notice any big overuse of "him" or "he" (or ofcourse her/she). Even if it's not "the Exile" there's still heaps of cases where it's not "he/she" either, like (made up) "the challenges for the deafened one". I heard people are tired of a word the masters use alot? Void? Wound? Bond? I obviously don't seem to think so or else I'd remember .
  22. Every character has their strengths/weaknesses - that's the whole point. The idea is to play the game differently each time, story and character class wise.
  23. I said Darth Maul. I also think he's stupid but I think the Episode 1 Power Duel was the best.
  24. Usually when she updates the thread she updates the thread title and date.
