  1. Thank you, I appreciate your feedback! uuuhhhh hhhuuuhhh ..... I doubt it .
  2. There was a thread on this before where the theory was that she could've also deliberately leaked the meeting to expose the Sith, and when they turned out to be very powerful she went to plan B which was you.
  3. It's just part of the Obsidian Obscurety and part of the poor story planning and execution. Although when it comes to Nihilus I think the idea is that Jedi have to be in groups to be sensed.
  4. I played with 44.3 (or was it 44.68)? Something like that and it worked fine. Try playing it anyway ignoring the scanning report. If it doesn't work, go here: http://www.laptopvideo2go.com and try one of those drivers. If you find all the versions a bit confusing, I recommend v61.77; obviously not the newest one but it's a good stable/fast one. Keep in mind the 440 Go can only go so fast and 44.68 'should' work.
  5. My Mobo is Gigabyte but their version of the X800XL (the heatpipe only one) was not one of their best designs...
  6. No it's not...ATI's are cheaper and are at least neck-and-neck. http://www.hothardware.com/viewarticle.cfm?articleid=517 Although ATI have screwed it lately with the R520 while nVidia managed to get their top card out.
  7. I usually don't mind this but I find it very out of place (maybe even double-standards) here considering that most of the game was about screwing up the good/evil concepts.
  8. Just letting people know that I'm in a real tight spot with Uni work/study stuff at the moment so I haven't been able to do anything more with Pazaak and this pile is pretty big so I'm guessing I'd be always playing catchup for the next 2 or 3 weeks. Sorry ppl
  9. Rome Total War but other games with reasonably recent saves: SWAT 4, Half-Life 2
  10. Most recent old game was Wing Commander 4 (which I immortalised by compiling the 6 CD's and burnt onto an "Armor-plated DVD"). The other 3 that come to mind are Star Trek: A Final Unity, Transport Tycoon Deluxe (because of the modern day patch enhancements) and the best game I've ever played (hmmm, close call between this and WC4)...Tie Fighter! "Help the Emperor restore peace and other throughout the Galaxy!"
  11. I've got a GeCube X800XL - I couldn't afford a 6800GT but the XL ofcourse has the "best bang for buck" crown (well I guess the important thing was it was pretty much just as good). Plus ever since the first X800's were released I would usually watch that Double-Cross pre-rendered video and day dream of "one day, I'll run that" - and I have, yay! I thought GeCube was some *really* cheapo company, like a Gigabyte ripoff but I guess I'm wrong. I went GeCube X800XL cos it was cheapest X800XL around yet performed better than the other ones inside my price range (from an "X800XL shootout" article). They've put in some pretty neat designs like that Uni-wise thing and the heat-pipe/fan hybrid which you usually see on like HIS and Sapphire ones - which look cool .
  12. Have you tried doing it without changing the priority. Maybe you're always getting the "ALT-TAB bug" where you have to Alt-tab out then back in? But that's usually cos of like a Windows mouse pointer popping up and stuff like that (and kills performance).
  13. Maybe they should try relaxing with some Pazaak matches " Ummm, this is the Aimo art thread right?
  14. Did you follow through the basic steps of the setup guide after downloading and unpacking? (the guide is on post #54 in this thread). Like have you copied the fonts into the Windows Font folder? If you're not getting any backgrounds or graphics have you downloaded the Comctl32.ocx (from the download page on website)? Pretty clear you're not as "seasoned" on computers so just give out another yell if the install guide pics aren't clear enough .
  15. Some of the Force powers should've been blanket DS only condition. So the "lighter" of the DS powers have that penalty, but stuff like Scream (even if it's not the most powerful DS power it's just stupid to see that on an LS person) and maybe Death Field.
  16. For Windows XP: Click on it (Right Mouse Button) Select open Select from the screen to the left "unpack all items" Just follow the steps of the Wizard... <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Now when I try doing anything with it, it says Not Found The requested document was not found on this server. I didn't finish uploading the files last night - I've finished it now so it's back again.
  17. I disagree - and there's not much point going into this cos this is an endless discussion all over the net and well, the whole point of graphics card competition.
  18. I'm in the reverse group. Great LA Art, poor (very) in-game model. What did you think of Bastila then in K1? The longish dropping hair (the box picture) vs the ingame pony-tail fringe model. For me the model is better, and K2 is the opposite.
  19. The Website has moved! http://purepazaak.k0m3k.net Thanks again k0m3k!
  20. I can see the Bastila resemblence but I gotta admit she wouldn't be the first character I'd think of - it looked like one of those characters from the fan-made films. Still, OMG...
  21. The 9600XT is superior to the Ti4200. nVidia drivers are better built but I don't think it's worth the changeover just for K2. Not *that* many people have problems with ATI - I don't. Just do the usual tips people have given like that config vertex thingy, turning down the AA or AF (which I don't think you'd want on for your card anyway). (Welcome to the forums! . . . wanna play Pazaak? " )
  22. And crap " <{POST_SNAPBACK}> I agree, unless it's for discounts against Suvam
  23. He's referring to an IRC channel. If you don't know what IRC is then a simple Google or whatever search should get you the basics which is all you need. I don't know much about IRC myself but what I do know is that IRC is the perfect game lobby. IRC has all those file transfer and other stuff I know nothing about but the basic use is that it's a chat room which supports private/direct chats and a list of the people currently in the channel. Heh, I don't even have mIRC installed. Edit Step-by-step of what eXtortion says below (does not install mIRC): 1. Go to: www.gamesurge.net/chat/ (requires Java) 2. When it loads you'll automatically connect to GameSurge - let it finish. 3. Type into the command thingy: /nick nickname , where nickname is your desired nickname. 4. Type: /join #purepazaak to join the channel 5. If you join and no one is there, I urge you to stay there if you can incase someone else comes along 6. Let's say there's a bunch of people connected. To announce that you're free to play a match, just type the chat message and press Enter. 7. What you want to do now will vary, but to let's say you want start a private chat session to respond to someone's offer (and tell them your details like your or their IP, etc). Double-click their name from the list of people and a new chat window will appear in the Private taskbar section. 8. Organise and play! You can copy and paste the commands.
  24. I wonder how many times I've said "Great" in this thread alone. Eh well, doesn't matter. Great work again!
  25. Yes there is a windows version of Pazaak and AFAIK you dont have to have KoTOR to use it . <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Well how many of you would consider voting for Pazaak if were playing against humans (since people seem to hate Pazaak either cos it's a card game = boring, or put off it cos of the apparent cheating/bias.
