Each mention of "hydrospanner" is an echo of a previous mention. You'll notice that one particular droid had a hydrospanner stuck inside it. As if it were a wound in the droid.

Started playing K1 about two weeks or so ago while I was waiting for the patch. I was gonna wait for the patch to play K2 again but then I got a new video card and just had to test it out. As an aside, with an ATI card, everyone looked greasy. With a GeForce card, everyone looks like foam rubber.

On my machine the darkside eyes are yellow. It's a more subtle shade of yellow, not Glowing Zombie Yellow like the ones in the mod.

I use the maximum Armorply, at times However, I use the Prestige Class Robes&Items pack, and I get some very kewl class-specific Armored Robes that can equip the Bonded Plates Mark 4 and of course the Bioregen Mark 5 <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Hmm... with regular robes the Mark II was the only overlay I could get to work. As a test I created one of each armor upgrade and the Armorply Mark II was the only one it would let me use.

I ran into something interesting in my latest jaunt through the game. There's one overlay that works with robes. It's the Armor Ply Mark II or something like that. It's the one that gives you +1 Reflex and +4 Stealth.

1) Open up a graphics program (ie. MS Paint or better) 2) Launch KotOR 3) Hit the Print Screen button 4) Press Alt+Tab 5) Paste 6) If you program can't handle more than one image at a time then save your image 7) Press Alt+Tab Go to Step 3 It will come out a wee bit dark, so I would recommend a graphics program that lets you manipulate the levels.

The game engine isn't *too* much different from the first one so you'll probably still struggle in certain spots but you'll do fine. Update those drivers and have fun!

No, not the blue or red flatulence. I don't recall where I read about the effects but it was in a thread on some forum regarding nVidia vs. ATI cards. I suppose if I don't remember the details and since I'm enjoying the game enough it doesn't really matter, eh?

Can I ask a favor of the people doing screen captures? I've read about "bloom" and "glow" effects that users get with nVidia cards but not with ATI cards. Can any of you fine folks with an nVidia card show me an example of what I'm missing?

Could've been worse. Given the time constraints they could've opted for a brown paper sack with a happy face scribbled on the front.

How far off is the next generation X-Box? If there will be a K3, I predict that it will be launched sometime around then.

In K1 the word "taint" came up more times than I was comfortable with. In K2 everyone's bouncing around "echo" and "wound". In K3, what will the Word of the Day be? (Don't forget to jump up and down and scream when you see it!)

[semi-off topic] Just curious. I see many people referring to the tomb on Korriban as the Tomb of Ludo Kreesh but in the game I see no reference to Kreesh. Am I just clicking through conversation too quickly or something?

You can never have enough giant angry wookie in your life. Reminds me of the part in K1 where you're captured by the Leviathan and you need to pick one party member to help you escape. Your dialog options is something like "this looks like a job for a wookie!" and your party says "um, I think we need to be a little more subtle."

Wait. Mira's hanging out by the ship? That don't sound right. I think you hit a bug somewhere. If not, have you tried paying the little bat dude by the bar?

In K1, I felt a little guilty ordering Zaalbar to whack Mission. It was fun but I still felt a little guilty. Overall, I did form attachments with all the party members. Even Canderous. In K2, I couldn't give a crap about any of them, except for ones that returned from K1. In fact, there were many times when I wished that I could kill a few of them, especially Atton. All of them felt entirely useless to me.
