After all the hours i wasted saving it from the Sith in KotOR...bleh i want them back. Makes no sense at all except as a device so there could be a dark game. If they have also killed off all the old NPC's, they might as well have set the game 1000 years after, then it would at least make more sense. Well, it also makes sense if you played the first game DS i suppose...

Well, i remember a magazine reporting that KotOR 2 would be released simultaneously on PC and Xbox so i'm done trusting them Having the old NPC's show up as force ghosts would be lazy writing and i don't expect that from these guys.

I'm sorry, but i don't think you can make such a guarantee unless you are going to have mods approving every single post being made to the non-spoilers forum. I think it's best that those of us in other parts of the world and the PC players avoid all KotOR2 related forums between the US X-Box release and the other releases in February or April or whenever the game is going to be released for us. People were often posting spoilers in the wrong forums on the KotOR-boards and i see no reason why that should change here.

People in this forum wouldn't be biased or anything? Never ever going to play the other two so it's hard to say. Voted KotOR2 anyway.

I'm sure people come to this forum to have Episode III spoiled for them.

Voted Vader. My Revan would win, naturally...but there are so many other Revans out there who don't have a clue...

X-Men: Legends for my PS2 and Half - Life2 for my PC.

It's a bit late for suggestions now, as i think the game is virtually finished and is undergoing QA and polishing. I hope we will see all the old characters, and especially the core trio of Revan/Bastila/Carth. As far as T3-M4 goes, i hope they have implemented some sort of translator-display, like the one Luke has in his X-Wing for R2-D2.

Does this mean PC KotOR2 will be released in March here? <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Nah, pretty much the same as me unless Im waiting until march too <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Unless they mean "International versions" as in "Non-English versions" which means the Xbox-version will be released in December in the UK(and here since we also get the English version). Hmmm...Xboxes are cheap these days hmmmhmhmmmah.

My PC is so powerful, the game runs better on it with an Xbox emulator than your puny little M$ moneymaker.

Not hard to do. You just tell the game what Revan looked like in the Q/A-session at the start of the game. Not that i think they'll be bringing him/her back for anything more than a cameo. Mike Gallo also stated that NPC's you meet will depend on what you tell the game about the events of KotOR. People want to see their favorite characters again. It isn't a crime.

Only if you believe that dunce Malak. Sure, they gave Revan new memories and a new personality, but the old memories were lost because of the damage sustained on Revan's bridge, they weren't removed by the Council.

There was no deliberate mind-wipe by the Council. Revans mind was damaged when his ship was blasted by Malak. As for KotOR2, i guess it's similar to Nomi Sunrider removing Ulic Qel-Droma's connection with the Force in the Tales of the Jedi-comics. Chris Avellone posted in one of the threads here that the PC in KotOR2 has all his/her memories intact so i don't think we'll see any big revelations about his/her past.

I'll get the PC-version if both versions are released at the same time, as they say they will. If, for some reason, the Xbox-version is out considerably sooner, i'll get the Xbox version...and an Xbox. In the case of that scenario, i'll probably get the PC-version when it comes out as well. My financial sensibility goes out the window when it comes to must-haves.

Which is all the more reason to not have her (or Revan) as a focal point of the story, but rather have them both a)ALIVE and b)serving as "secondary" background characters, sort of like the wise Jedi you meet after you win the game or something, and they tell you what a good job you did. I couldn't agree more!

Bastila as end boss(i.e. evil again) is just as much of a cop out as some random death pre TSL. I already redeemed her once, having her go DS again would just be silly. It would hardly constitute a cameo either. I think there could very well be different end bosses depending on alignment, though. Optimism is a subjective thing.
