  1. In case you haven't heard, this video has been burning up the Internet. "Fat shaming is not a thing. Fat people made that up. That's the race card, with no race." https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CXFgNhyP4-A She's funny. And, guess what? She's absolutely correct. P.S. Yes, I hate fat people, especially the fat asses on scooters. They offend me. Fatties on scooters are not disabled. They are just lazy.
  2. Not really relevant to my point. Liberal idpol can only clumsily lash out at some symptoms rather then directing their ire towards the actual root cause. It's because of this they'll come to erroneous conclusions like the average Joe Blow down the street being the cause of the refugee crisis as opposed to, well, the people who have directly orchestrated and profiteered from the events that brought it about. Americans and Europeans love to use the excuse, "it's our government; it has nothing to do with us." That excuse is so sickening. You are a democracy. In a democracy, the people are as responsible as the government for the crimes of your government - because you have to power to elect and replace your government. If your government continues to commit atrocities overseas for years and years, decades and decades, and your government persists, then you are equally responsible for your government's crimes. The whole "I'm not responsible for my government's crimes" excuse can be used by someone who lives under a totalitarian or dictatorial state, but not by someone who lives in the US, EU or a democracy. It's a lame excuse.
  3. The logical conclusion of liberal identity politics. Except I'm Asian. The whole conservative vs liberal ("white guilt") thing is mostly a white people's thing. I'm just an observer. You keep crying and whining about the refugees flooding into Europe. But ask yourselves: who and what created the refugee crisis in the first place? You know as well as I do the refugees are an outcome of the Syrian civil war, which is backed by the West. It is not a secret. You created the mess, so now you suffer the consequences (in the form of the refugees.) You did not see the karma coming when you decide to screw over Syria, Libya, Iraq and rest of the Middle East, did you?
  4. The refugees are the consequence of EU and NATO's unsavory interference to oust Assad and destabilize Syria. We all know why the US and EU want to get rid of Assad: so that the US and EU can replace Assad with another tyrant who will work for the Western interests and take orders from the West (especially the US). That's what it's been all about. The West has been making concerted efforts to destabilize and create chaos in the Middle East, causing mass deaths and destruction via its direct and proxy campaigns. The Western-backed wars and chaos have created the refugees who are now flooding into and overwhelming EU. Now the karma bitch strikes back: those refugees will likely be the end of the Western civilization from within in the long run. There is a sweet, ironic ring of karma to it. It's almost like the universe is restoring the balance by punishing the real perpetrators. So don't you white people cry and whine about refugees and immigrants destroying your countries and nations: you sowed the seeds, and now you are reaping the fruits. It is your own doing. You guys very much deserve it. The only pity is the the US - a main perpetrator of wars, chaos, deaths and suffering in the region - are not being flooded by refugees from Syria, Iraq and Libya.
  5. Microsoft just banned me from Bing Rewards earlier today. Before I went to bed last night (or this early "morning" at 1 or 2 AM,) I checked into Bing and did the obligatory 20 PC + 10 mobile searches to earn the daily reward points. Then, this morning when I woke up at about 9 AM and checked back into Bing, Microsoft had already banned my Bing rewards account. So it happened while I was asleep. Fortunately, I had redeemed my Bing points two days ago. So I had only about one day worth of reward points (about 30) in my account. I also did not have anything else like an Xbox that was tied to the reward account. So it was no big loss. (Thank goodness I do not have an Xbox. Now I certainly will *never* buy an Xbox.) As for why I suspect Microsoft banned me: I had only one Bing reward account, (i.e., my only Microsoft account.) I had and never used a bot. However, I saved my favorite search terms as browser bookmarks. Every day I reloaded those bookmarks to earn the reward points. I believe that was what got me banned. Which has turned out to be a good thing, because I started using Google to find out information about Bing bans. That was how I found out about Swagbucks, (which is way better than Bing rewards; I just joined and started using it a few hours ago.) I decided to close my Bing account, which was also my main and *only* Microsoft account. I remove all traces of Bing from my search bars, PC, notebook, smartphone and tablet. Good riddance because Bing was actually a horrible search engine. I had been using Bing for three years. I had hoped that its interface would improve, but it had stayed horrible throughout those three years. Microsoft has made absolutely no attempt to make even the slightest improvement to Bing during those three years. And I will not be buying anything from Microsoft ever again. Not an Xbox. Not a Microsoft keyboard or mouse or whatever. Not a Microsoft phone. Nothing from Microsoft, ever. I am a PC gamer, so unfortunately I am stuck with Windows for playing games. At least I do not have to directly pay a dime for Windows. And I will not be using Bing, Microsoft Office, Internet Explorer or Edge or whatever Microsoft is calling it now, or any other Microsoft products even if they are free. I have about $320 worth of credits on Amazon. I got from Bing rewards and mostly recycling garbage from my home, work and rental properties. Do you know how I will be spending those $320? On a Playstation 4. Screw you, Microsoft.
  6. New gameplay footage:
  7. I'm still pissed that the Baldur Gate Enhanced Edition 1 and 2 came out on GOG right after I had purchased them on Steam, right after I had posted a question in the developer's forum and asked them if the games would come out on GOG.
  8. You do not need to put a space in front of a punctuation, (i.e., a question mark or double apostrophe.)
  9. Ellen Pao has just become a moderator of the AgainstMensRights subreddit. So we now know where she was coming from when she enforced her changes on Reddit.

  15. Microsoft needs to realize gadgets do not sell consoles. Exclusives do. And I'm not talking about "fake" exclusives - i.e., "timed" exclusives, "console" exclusives (that are also on the PC), or exclusive "DLC" or "contents". Seriously, people who are playing games on another platform are NOT going to buy a console to for a "timed" exclusive or exclusive "DLC". Funny that you mentioned XCOM... because XCOM 2 is not even announced for any Xbox.
  16. WTF is a "dispraiser"? The word you're looking for is CRITIC.
  17. YouTube Let's Play videos. Nowadays people visit YouTube or Twitch and watch Let's Play videos, then they decide if they want to spend money on a game. For example: I hated the old Tomb Raider games. So obviously I did not care about the 2013 before and when it came out. I did not follow it during pre-launch. I had no interest in it during launch. I did not know anything about the game when it launched. I did not even know it was a reboot. About a year after the launch, I came across a Let's Play video of the game, and then I was hooked. I bought the game on Steam, played it, and loved it. Now I am looking forward to the sequel. The XCOM reboot is another example. Again, I hated the original XCOM. I knew the original got good reviews, but it was not my type of game. So no amount of good reviews would have changed my mind about my preconceived opinion about the reboot. However, I did take notice of the reboot when the first trailer came out, and I thought, hey, it looked different. Later, I could not make up my mind if I would want to play the reboot (because I hated the original.) So I checked out the Let's Play videos. I liked what I saw. I bought the game, and loved it. So people can actually find out a lot about a game from Let's Play videos. I have never played a Dragon Age game for various reason. I have watched the Let's Play of Dragon Age: Inquisition, just to see if the videos would change my mind. Honestly, even their Let's Play videos was boring. I kinda skipped around and watched different parts of the game. The gameplay and story failed to keep my attention and interest. The story, characters and gameplay just seemed so... bland, perfunctory and formulaic. The videos actually dissuade me from buying and playing Dragon Age: Inquisition. For me, Let's Play videos help me make the decision that Dragon Age: Inquisition is a pass. On the other hand, I am following a Let's Play series of The Witcher 3. I also have not played The Witcher 3. However, unlike Dragon Age: Inquisition, the Let's Play series of The Witcher 3 have been very entertaining to watch. So I know The Witcher 3 is a game I want to play. So I do not have to have played a game to know if it is boring or not.
  18. Apparently the demo was already playable at E3. GT and IGN crew talk about the demo, story, setting, hunting and trapping, trading/economy, towns, RPG elements, etc. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lr8HMoArQW0
  19. Now that you've mentioned it, Aloy has Bridget Regan's likeness and hair color as well. Bridget Regan is actually a redhead, although she rarely plays one in TV and movies.
  20. It is a full-fledged RPG with XP, perks, skill trees, etc.
