Has anyone actually managed to play through MotB, without cheats, as a warlock? I am currently playing the original OC as chaotic good one, and i am already starting to have doubts about this. Hopefully a patch will remove "+1 lawful" for every time you use "supress". I wouldn't like to cheat unless it is really necessary.

They will be released at an estimated price pf 999 euro, no thank you  Quad-Core seems to be better for a longterm choice though.

Oh, and about the front side bus issue: The E6750 and E6850 are at 1333Mhz, while the Q6600 chuggs along at 1066Mhz. While my Abit AB9-Pro supports 1333Mhz through a BIOS-update, my regular, and non-overclockable 4GB of memory-sticks are stuck at 533Mhz (=1066Mhz effectively?). What to do...?

Yeah, it got this month's paycheck and it is time to spend on something that really matters: Intel Processors! First, let's go through the price range: - Q6600 and E6850 are equal in price (240

Atari announces Neverwinter Nights 2: Mysteries of Westgate
Meshugger replied to Kelverin's topic in Computer and Console
What, my home-town has slipped through the planes and ended up in Faerun? What are the odds of that happening -
You americans get the censored version anyway, why even bother unless you're ready to import For me, i like what i've seen in the videos so far. Racism against dwarfes and elves, genocide here and there, dark atmosphere, grownup-talk (you know what i mean), sex is there but not as a selling point, choice and consequences actually has some meaning and so on...

Bioware and Lucasarts must've listened to the very large groups of people complaining about the lack of multiplayer and co-op

Why don't you make Jack Bouer first and on the second time around play as a Kirk type guy? First impressions last, my dear.
-
Yay! But i still can't decide on whether my character will be Captain Kirk or Jack Bauer. Alien nipples in the sea of love or conservative justice in the pool blood? What to do, what to do....

Brutal Legend - Tim Schafer's new project
Meshugger replied to funcroc's topic in Computer and Console
Clearly you've never seen Metalocalpyse. Or Tenacious D. I didn't think Tim Schafer would be the type to hop on bandwagons. Early word is that it's going to be a God of War clone with "squad combat" elements. And one would guess, leftover Metalocalypse plots and humor. Hopefully the kind of mouth-breather that would go for that sort of thing will buy enough copies for Schafer to make something worth playing. The second Fantastic Four movie had a good trailer too. To be fair, it's more of a niche market. It's not like Metalocalypse and Tenacious D are watched and listened by millions upon millions of people. -
Forget the expansions, get the Chuck Norris mod instead.

"Apartment" is a funny typo. Whops!

This is the part that caught my eye. To me it sounds like you're free to explore the universe (which I hope is huge and interesting) and the side-quests you'll find won't all be meaningless and out of place. I must say that Precursors sounds better in the exploration parts (and combat parts, according to that article) but I'm willing to give Mass Effect the benefit of a doubt too. You can do that within 18-30 hours of gameplay? I played 150 hours within one single kingdom in Oblivion

That was very...unconvincing. First, they say that the gameplay isn't that much fun and one is easily more drawn to the story instead. Fine, i can live with that. Next, the animation and lipsyncing, they must've fixed that in the reviewer's version, because the amount of trailers that i have seen on gametrailers prove me otherwise. The lipsync is pretty uneven, and the voiceacting sometimes comes off as a bit stiff. But i can live with that, it's just polishing issues, i do not care about framerate either, unless it's down to single-digits for 50% of the time. Finally, the story. So far, the story seems like a rip-off of the anime called 'Vandread'. Basically, machines come back every 50000 years and devour everything that's alive, and you have to stop them. Seems familiar? If the final boss is an ancient relative to humans, but now claiming itself (themselves?) as god(s) since they have achieved immortality by sucking the life out the universe with these 'machines' every now and then. Also, he/she/they are pretty lonely and can't grasp companionship, friendship and love like 'normal' people. I wouldn't be suprised if Shepard's archnemesis wants to destroy humanity since they are relatives to the 'machines', and they have the potential to do the same with the discovery of 'Mass Effect'. *shrugs* Hopefully i am wrong on every single apartment. I didn't complain about the RPG-department since it wasn't mention at all in the review.

EA have actually made great games, Clive Barker's Undying was excellent back in 2001. Sadly, the game sold max 200 000 copies and wasn't deemed as profitable franchise, and the dev team got sacked. My point is, i do not see Bioware doing anything more daring in the future, since it doesn't fit in EA's model of profitability. Especially since they expect an return of investment so early. We might have Bioware suprising us with something special in the future, but while the chance of that happening was pretty low in the past, it seems next to impossible in the future. Especially since EA claimed that Bioware made excellent 'Action-Adventure'-games.

Tigranes: getting . You really missed out, IMO.

Absolutely wonderful.

Their main page is down at the moment, replaced with some simple template that looks like a CV. Anyhoo, will Bioware keep its name or will it just become a part of EA, like "EA-RPG" or "EA-Edmonton"?

Haha, this is just too much.

warmer does not equate to "harsher." indeed, more species flourish in warmer, rather than cooler, temperature climes. there are orders of magnitudes of more deaths every year related to colder temperatures rather than warmer. if anything, a warmer planet would be a benefit, not a detriment. this is nothing more than a myth perpetuated by the green activists, gore included. taks Sadly, on the other side there's more people than the scientists that disagrees with Gore, and they are using it to continue to enjoy relaxed anti-pollution policies by their governments. As one of my Proffessors said: "Well, they guy is clearly making a hen out of a feather, but discussing these matters without the use of sensatonalism seems to be impossible outside the scientific community. On one hand we have people who want go green on every aspect of our lives, and on the there's people who see it as serious threat to their business-interests."

1. Eat lots of curry. It keeps the bacteria away. 2. Visit Taj Mahal. 3. Smile. Have fun!

Huh? Have they started to cure cancer lately? Companies aren't 'evil' or 'good' in the world of business, unless they have something illegal as their main agenda. Anyhoo, maybe they have changed their business model on how to deal with developers and given them more space for their creativity, but sure DICE hasn't been up to much 'diverse' since 2004. Wow, you take me so seriously. It was just a lame joke. My appologies. Maybe, maybe not. But i am already hearing alarm-bells toll when they want this investment turn profitable within 2010 + they want Bioware to produce 4-6 games per year at that time. Sounds like a compromise of quality for me
