Unless someone at the hospital speaks out, which is ofcourse near her hometown in the middle of nowhere(you know, where everyone knows each other and keep outlanders out), there's little chance of anything happening.

There's rumors flying around the net about Palin's baby. 1. When she officially announced that she was pregnant at 7 months, she even shocked her own staff, since no one saw any physical implications that she should been pregnant. Remember folks, for each pregnancy, the signs are more visible since the body becomes more inelastic. This was her fifth child. She also said that they have done tests, and that the baby suffered from down's syndrome. They decided to keep it. 2. Three and a half weeks later, while in Texas, her water broke at 4 am in the morning, but she still went on and had a speech. Later, she called her doctor, who said that it is perfectly ok for her to return to Alaska to give the birth. So, she went from Texas, landed in Seattle to switch planes, went to Anchorage and finally to her hometown, an hour by driving to deliver the kid, all in all, 11-12 hours later. Again, remember the kid was one month prematurely with down's syndrom, and the doctor still thought it was a good idea to fly home. No one on the plane saw any signs of late pregnancy. 3. Three days after the birth, she returned to office in great shape. Again, this is a kid that needs special medical and physical attention during the first days of birth. 4. Meanwhile, her eldest daughter had been away from school for 8 months because she had "mono", aka the kissing disease. Do i need to mention that Palin is veeery Pro-life, like even if the mother is raped, abortion is still strictly verboten? This is rumor is of "Dallas"-quality. Remember folks, this is just rumors that fly around the net. My preliminary sources are This (Scroll down to a post by a fellow named 'Christian') and the corresponding links that can be found there. Finally, Edward's affair and kid where just rumors too

Dude, you're always against any form centralization of power (social issues and whatnot), which ironically enough, sets you in the neo-con republican-camp. That's just the atomic, subatomic and galactic structure of things today. And on to Obama for the time being, considering his speech last night. His rhethoric heavily reminds me of Clinton's back in '92, and judging by Obama's character, they resemble each other quite alot. And by continuing with this hypothesis, if Obama gets elected in November, i can surely guarantee that most of the social programs will almost instantly go out of the window (maybe the minimum wage will be raised with 50 cents and there will be more regularatory laws passed on health-insurance), since he will, like Clinton, realizing that there's no money to do anything, and the rest of the term is spent on balancing the budget.

i hate mccain. i hated bush and i preferred him to mccain. i'm not the right person to ask. i think he looks like a child molester. i just hate socialists in disguise even more (though mccain is somewhat of a socialist in disguise, too). taks Heh, i didn't expect that for an answer.

Did i just say hot "milf"? Scrap that, i take the girl on the right.

taks and guard dog: While we are on the subject: Why is McCain more electable than Bob Barr? Honest question, and please refrain from the "i'm not throwing my vote away!"

Low standards? No, awesome standards.

A very smart choice by McCain. It will most likely steal some thunder from the Obama camp, and she will especially be something of interest for Hillary-supporters. Personally however, i really disagree with her stances on most of things. She is: - Pro-life (Argh!) - Anti-stemcell research (Plain stupid!) - Pro-creationism (Go back to school and read the differences between science and philosophy, you mongrel!) Also she is very pro-gun, and i don't mean pro-gun by that she just supports the right to bear arms (which i usually don't mind, hell i even support that) i am talking about teachers-should-have-guns-in-classrooms-ted-nugent-style, which is downright scary. I do have to give it for her for fighting against corruption and wanting to keep power more decentralized. All in all, a wise choice by McCain. Hat's off to him. P.S. But goddamn, what.a.milf.

Not even close to.. BREAKING NEWS: FALLOUT3
Meshugger replied to Kaftan Barlast's topic in Computer and Console
Now, now. We all know the REAL REASON behind Bethesda not showcasing a playable demo in Leipzig. It's because they realize due to the superior european taste in everything compared to those backwards, barbaric and consoletargeted aumeerikkaans. Any Bethesda developer FEARS US, since we would ask them questions about the gameplay, who wouldn't involve how "cool" it is or how fun it is to blow someone's head off. We would DESTROY THEM in every way, expose their juvenile level in gamedesign, and obliterate any credibility that they have left. Now pass on the wine, my dear plebs. -
REALPOLITIK

CG trailer looks ok, i guess. Other than the general atmosphere, i didn't get much out of it. But on the other hand, i never cared about the Gothic-series either.

With 10 different polling companies doing 10 different sets of questions with 10 different points on random 1000 people representing a million people from atleast 10 different backgrounds, cultures, religions and languages, then you can expect polls to fluctuate a bit.

That is, in fact, the desk of a sociopath. So, it's the boss' desk? Anyhoo, the first and third pictures, judging by the colorpresentation, reeks of Deus Ex. In a good way ofcourse. 'Extreme' collargrabbing and ridicolus facial expressions aside, i like what i am seeing.
-
Guess it makes sense to have more playable protagonists. But what if all die? Do we get a nice "Game Over" screen then? Anyway, this is gonna be a must-buy, no question. Sounds very interesting indeed. I would really like to see how that will work out.

This is truth of all things today. It is not politics or idealism, or even some nice realpolitik. In the long run, it is all business.

Anyone Else Think G0-T0 Was A Brilliant Chracter?

And that is no coincidence. Agreed. I can take that the programmers got one or two 'tee-hee's out of it. -
Anyone Else Think G0-T0 Was A Brilliant Chracter?
Meshugger replied to Darth Exsilum's topic in Star Wars: General Discussion
He was a very poor partymember, but as a character, he was brilliant. The writing was intruiging and the VO was spot-on with a very dry and stoic delivery. I fail to understand on why someone could dislike the CHARACTER G0-T0. -
I remember hearing that tune in my dad's car when i was a tiny little kid. Brings back the memories. Now: Burzum - "Det som en gang var" Later: Rachmaninoff - Serge, Piano Concerto no.2 in C minor, op.18

Is there a Quad-solution? I refuse to do degrade myself to anything less than 4 cores.

It looks more professional now. A great improvement.

BREAKING NEWS: NEW EXCLUSIVE FALLOUT 3 TRAILER
Meshugger replied to Llyranor's topic in Computer and Console
That's because the PC's and Xbox360s have similar processorarchitectures and instructionsets. You pretty much continue as usual and let the compilers worry about the underlying data-flow, parallelism and other synchronizations. On the PS3 however, the PPE has it's own instructionset and the 6 SPEs have another. And oh, the SPEs also have a local memory of their own, very similar to caches actually, and you can assign them directly in your code to do SIMD-instructions and whatnot. Programming for the SPE requires some serious knowledge, and maybe in Bethesda's and Valve's case, it is simply not worth the investment to do any serious optimizations. From what i gather, many multi-platform games simply only use the PPE-core and leave the other 6 cores in idlemode on the PS3. -
Following Congressional subpoena, Karl Rove flees USA.

This illustrates my point of omnipresent discrimination of jews (and black people, and gays etc), be it positive or negative, joke or earnest [edit]Discrimination: Treating different when there shouldn't be a difference. Oh, grow a pair Or are you claiming that the Mossad are ineffective? Their work is very admirable IMO, hence the joke. Making jokes about race and nationality happens all the time and everyone enjoys it, the finns jokes on the swedes, the swedes jokes the norwegians, the norwegians about everyone else and the danish does it on the swedes. Or maybe that wasn't your point? You only mentioned people that has historically been under discrimination, right? Then by excluding them from our ring of fun, aren't we still discriminating them? You, know by ignoring their privilige as everyone else to be ridiculed? Yes/no? Or are we insensitive? Where's the measurement? Who will be talking for all the oppressed ones? How will we define on what is derogatory against who? You have well intensions, but you're opening a can of worms by trying to define anything that describes race, gender, faith and sexual orientation as something negative. -
In Finland... Men don't cry....ever. They let their women cry on their behalf instead. My girlfriend has shed many tears over animation of pixels through out the years; Tears of sadness were shed during the ending of FFX, but tears of frustration were shed over the ending of KotOR 2, and tears of rage were shed over "KotOR III: THE MMO".
