  1. I just watched the vp debate at youtube. As expected, it was no contest. Biden clearly was more knowledgeable, brought in legislative examples, and explained his opinions with substance. Palin however, never directly answered the questions, talked in full-rhetoric mode, and devoid of any substance. And ofcourse, - Nucular - Nucular - Maverick - Joe sixpack - Hockey mom - Maverick - Maverick - Nucular - Maverick - God - Evil The only reason on why people would think that it was a tie or that Palin, heaven forbid, won; Was that she atleast stayed true to her empty rhetoric with a folksy manner, and thus, "won".
  2. Furry suit
  3. Democrats
  4. Members of 4chan have claimed to voted over 9000 times.
  5. Make that 20 times. Democracy wins!
  6. Rick Astley is nominated for 'Best act ever' at the European MTV awards in Liverpool Vote! I've voted 10 times already.
  7. Mercenaries 2
  8. Maybe, but i think that there's more to it as well. Compared to many, he was always considered a bit lazy, and didn't care about having a career and such. I think that kind of mindset is important for your mind. Meaning, learning how to relax and don't caring for a moment or two
  9. "Well, kids today are too weak in spirit, phwe! I have endured preussian military training, 5 years on the front in the second world war, and seen 60% of my friends die right in front of me. Then i have built my own house from the ground-up, built up a farm, married, and fathered children. Been there, done that. I have developed diabetes of old age, had cancer, and when i had a hearthattack, i didn't even realize it at first, i just thought that my legs felt strangely heavy. But here i am, 91 years old and still living in the same house with my wife. How did i reach this age? Frankly, i have no idea, but i think it has to do with: - Eating pork atleast 3 times a week. - Eat porridge every morning. - Use a lot of salt in your food. - Drink cream with coffee, not that watery milk-stuff. - Use alot of butter when making pork chops. - And most importantly, don't worry about anything. When you've stared death in the eye a couple times in your life, it becomes more easy." ^My grandfather. I just need to think of him when i think that times are 'bad'. It gives you perspective and a sense of calm. No pills for me.
  10. Indeed. That's actually the stance I take. In my posts in this thread I've not once demonised Muslims or Arabs, simply defended Israel. Brdavs took it upon himself to to defend Iran in retaliation or something for great justice. The Middle East vs. Israel skirmish is pointless, like most wars. It's generally based on the notion that Israel shouldn't exist, or that Muslims are bad, rather than any realistic goals. It wasn't directly aimed at you, it was just a notion on where this thread was going
  11. it is, IMO, unconstitutional, and probably the biggest problem with our system. the fed is not a government institution, btw. booms and cycles are ultimately the result of the fed's control of the money supply. contrary to the socialist position that such regulation saves us from these extreme events, it actually causes them. taks Which is a bit ironic, since both want to shift the power to print money to the congress.
  12. Ok, a second of being serious. "Country X is evil, killing babies and rape your grandmothers, while country Y is filled with rainbows, unicorns and innocent puppies." X,Y can be jews or muslims, depending on your political allegiance. FFS, stop that empty George Bush-ian, neoconservative-ian, black-white, good-evil, us-them rhetoric and come with some sane arguments for once. This goes to anyone favourable to any side of the conflict. Every time it is the same damn thing: - Jews control everything, they're nazis in disguise, they gave my wife the flu, blablabla - The Arabs export wahabist terrorism, they will blow up my lawn, blablabla For ONCE, try to figure out something called a compromise without demonize any side, since nothing will come out of it.
  13. This is the most awesome post on this thread and through this forum's existence. (where?when?)
  14. Here are the links: Dennis Kucinich: Linky. Ron Paul: Linky. Both really dislike the federal reserve and call for a hearing on their practices, but from two completely different viewpoints. Fun, isn't it?
  15. Atleast this crisis brings people together. On the right end you have Ron Paul voting against the bill, and on the left end you have Dennis Kucinich voting against it.
  16. A quick look at the StormFront-forums and this one showed up: Someone has taken a joke too seriously.
  17. Sure, nuke the most democratic countries in the Middle East, why not. No, nuke the generator of friction in the area and terorism across the globe. I wont even debate the democracy of a zionistic country infused with military that runs the Gaza strip concentration camp. The pure math is simple... There are 7mil izraelis. There are 70mil people in Iran ALONE. Nuke Izrael, problem solved, fewer cost in human lives. Simple aritmitics. Unless you`re trying to say a jews life is worth more than the others lol? Nvm answering, twas a rethorical question. Ofcourse the value of life differs in accordance to the passport it holds, thats no mistery. And if democracy was a criteria you should nuke Saudi Arabia waaaaay before Iran or Syria. But they be on our side you say, eh? Like I said, Iranis would be friggin nutjubs not to go for nukes. All the cooks of this "lets nuke ME and be done with it" caliber (if pallin can run one of em has good chances of gettin into office) and all the hardware certain champions of "peacefull resolutions without threaths" of conflicts (think Gerogia cermons to Russia) have stockpiled on the borders\shores. Israel doesn't have any oil.
  18. Dan Quale had difficulties on expressing his ideas, but his ideas were ok by themselves. Sarah Palin has no difficulties on expressing her ideas, since she doesn't have any.
  19. So fellas, What is justice?
  20. (just kidding, the whole question is preposterous)
  21. Awesome!
  22. taks, a question: With your model (austrian school of economics and a strict interpretation of the constitution), would you allow a state to adopt the scandinavian model of governance (social security, free healthcare, free education) and ONLY within that state? And i am not questioning on whether it is effecient or anything, just that if it would be legit, given that the citizens of that state vote for it with an absolute majority, meaning 4/5 votes in favour. Yes/No is enough.
  23. In summary, they suck. Want something better? Don't buy from Wal-mart, don't by DRM products, and finally: Do what Google did to Microsoft, come with a smarter businessidea/product.
