  1. Kaftan, . I could be wrong though.
  2. Tell that to the nile-crocodile. But yeah, my point must've been left in my brain somewhere. Even if the "good 'ole"-games are extinct, they are still revered. "New games" of this day will go extinct as well, but will be forgotten through history. Yeppers. New games are throw away games, they don't have the hard core fans like the games of old. I call bull****. Ah, the younglings of these days. Always too quick to judge, and lacking the perspective to respect others. Bad karma(Fallout 3-karma, mind you) points for you, mistah!
  3. So all hope is left on Dashus, being the buildmaster gone AWOL. No further bugtesting (or atleast of Militades part) until he recompiles a new build. I will try not to be pessimistic about this.
  4. Jags spelt his location wrong, it is Hiten Mitsurugi dojo. Numberman, how's the marines treating you? And oh, hi there
  5. My claim is getting closer and closer to reality.

  7. Fallout 1/2, PST, the Baldur's gates and so on have adapted to their environment and are still ruled as kings among games, making them immortal, like the Tyrannosaurus Rex or the Megalodon. These later kinds of games, namely Mass Effect and Oblivion and alike, are just flukes of evolution that has failed to adapted themselves to their environment. Fallout 3 will join them as Brotherhood steel, BD: Dark Alliance and sink into the ranks of fossils, only to be brought up once in a while by only the most insane archeologist. Afterall, just like in nature, 95% of all species(games) have been eradicated through the years.
  8. Blizzard will probably be able to pull it off, maybe even make it worthwhile. But i still think that it is a bad move by them against the customers. -Insert [Don't like it, don't buy it]-dickmove here.
  9. I do have to give it to Blizzard for creating wonderful spell-effects. Instead of the all usual pointy-hat-robe-cane, we have a malevolent girl that makes her enemies explode into a pulp of blood. I have to say, a part me really likes this direction.
  10. Beginning of Chapter III? Give me a couple of days or so.
  11. I just saw a couple of gameplay videos. After a while, i completely forgot that it was supposed to be a Fallout game. Stalker feels more like Fallout than this. And oh, the music was dreadfully bad.
  12. About Nick and Lyr, don't you guys remember? They even posted a picture of both of them holding up one copy of Oblivion each on releaseday. They were the kings of men for a time then.
  13. Yeah, the "grinding"-missions are the witcher contracts that you can find at the local bulletin board.
  14. Well, that was fast. But what is this deal about console games being less pirated? Have anyone of you ever even seen a torrent-site? I will not give any links ofcourse, but the amount of PCs out there/seeders-ratio is less than the amount of consoles out there/seeders-ratio. And Pidesco is right about the consolemodding-scene in Europe, atleast. It isn't exactly a top priority of the authoritites to chase kids with modded xboxes or playstatons anyway.
  15. Since the economy is going down, i am seriously considering investing money on so called "Vice Funds". Strictly meaning, companies that are dealing with alcohol, cigarettes, gambling and porn. Those funds are most likely to capitalize on the current crisis. And maybe some gold ofcourse.
  16. So, the title will most likely be "Star Wars Galaxies II: Knights of the Old Republic". You can play Jedi or Sith, fighting in the True Sith War.
  17. This. Di~, you are right in the regard that it is ultimately the individual who chooses to do a criminal act (what a criminal act is another question). But judging from your post, you seem to believe that society has no influence whatsoever on one individual's upbringing, congnitive reasoning and viewpoint of life, which i highly disagree upon. If that were true, then the ghettos and the rich neighbourhoods would have the same crimerate and the same type of crime, and ofcourse the same percentage of Rhodes Scholars. What is exactly is your reasoning that the environment plays no role in shaping up ones character?
  18. Sorry - we're full at the moment. I see. But there's always need to test and expand on different levels. I hereby file for being a seasonal trainee elitist at your esoteric service. What are your requirements? Beside speaking with french accent, looking down on EA/Bioware and being able to boast the merits of the original Fallouts for infinity?
  19. Well, atleast they are trying to stay true to the Deus Ex-cannon
  20. If i got that right, then stats will not affect my gameplay. I can wear any type of weaponry and thus, shoot a rocket propelled grenade launcher with the same accuracy as with a laserpistol. Instead my stats are useful for upgrading my arsenal and (maybe) doing more damage. Sounds like empty fluff to me.
  21. Not for SEGA atleast, i guess. So, how about it? Cinematric trailer + small walkthrough + media preview coverage. Yes/no?
  22. The folks at the 'Codex are suggesting the use of "Lithuanian Hitmen" in order to speed up the project. There some support there, i guess
  23. I did most of the sidequests, took me about 55hs. You might cram down to 30 if you don't read any material, doing no alchemy and by skipping most of the se...dialogue.
  24. Tittays and nekkid womyn. Me likey.
  25. I take it that you guys want 'one' Kotor III as a single-player RPG, with direct continuation of the events from KotOR II. In that case, i want one too!
