  1. Halfwit. Do you really,*honestly* believe drivel like 'the suits' FFS? Trust me, whatever happens 'the suits' will turn a dime. The people you and people like you are *really* screwing are the likes of Avellone and Sawyer and Ferg and the guy who designs the cover art or manufactures jewel cases or drives the delivery truck or designs the architecture for the website that delivers the digital version... Piracy robs people of their jobs. Period. The ****ing adolescent squealing of the pro-piracy lobby (or, 'thieves' as we call them in the real world) actually turns my stomach. Srsy, grow the **** up. Because you sound like a tard. It doesn't really matter how wrong it is or how angry you become about it. As long as pirates offer better service than the publishers, people will pirate the **** out of anything. There's an example from the other end of the spectrum: People prefer to buy electronics from trusted manufacturers because of the reliability, stability, quality and warranty. Pirates can't provide that and thus the market is in the manufacturers favour.
  2. Ron Paul wins Minnesota and....Iowa? http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EfS1x5RnZZQ
  3. Oh, i forgot. It is absolutely mandatory to visit http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Neuschwanstein when visiting Germany. The place is simply breathtaking + you will really appriciate it either if you're a Wagner or Gabriel Knight fan
  4. I just came back from Berlin myself. Incredible city with beautiful architecture (lots of contrast too between old and DDR-old), no litter, everyone was properly dressed and behaved very politely and proffessionally. People stopped by the red lights even if there wasn't any traffic in the opposing direction + it was very bike-friendly as well. Hell, even the graffiti seemed to have some sort of aesthetic value in itself in contrast of the streets being so clean. All of this added to a sense of sincerity that i haven't experienced in most countries. Compared to most other bigger cities that i have went to, i would gladly call Berlin a "Hoghcult
  5. Let's change the subject somewhat, who will be Romney's running mate? Any bets?
  6. Wuell, atleest zey c
  7. I think that the fans rather want a "Re-Cut"
  8. For some reason, governmental policy rarely changes, no matter what party is in power. And the those silly politicians have the nerve to complain about low voter turnout and blatant cynisism, pheh.
  9. It's better than most of the other reality shows that gets exported overseas? Realistically though, as the world gets more integrated and economies more interwoven, the repercussions of the actions of one of the larger economies will invariably be of interest to those it affects, eligible for voting or not. Pretty much. Also, the US electoral system has an extravagant entertainment value that can't be found anywhere else in the world.
  10. So....those candidates, eh?
  11. The whole entertainment industry is run by numbers that make little sense. Lets say that Skyrim had a budget of 100 milion, marketing included. For that kind of money, you can design, build and run a hydro power plant, capabe of delivering power in terms of megawatts. All the time i hear about how complex and difficult it is to create a video game is and how much work has gone to optimising the engine and whatnot. I still haven't found out why it can be equally, or even more expensive than bigger engineering projects + they usually don't have any "crunch time" either.
  12.
  13. Trailer for those wondering what kind of game this is: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3JSV1ei6OjY&feature=player_embedded
  14. Also, Shepard, err the main character will have the option to become a dragon.
  15. Locationswise, it would be nice if it was in Tevinter with all their houses conspiring against each other with "forbidden" blood magic. But who am i kidding? it will be about the final fight against the Darkspawn *yawn*
  16. He's dead. Apparantly the guy was sitting the bathtub waiting the for task force to arrive. When they did, he stormed them (wearing a gas mask and a kevlar suit) and managed to fire about 300 shots before jumping out of the window. Once outside, they found him dead. Either by previous wounds or by the fall itself. He pretty much went out with a blaze of glory and died exactly like he wanted, all while the french special forces look incompetent fools for failiing to catch him alive after a 32 hour siege. This guy will become a hero among the extremists as usual since he died the death of a true warrior to the end. Never mind that he took a girl by the hair, tried to shoot her once in the head, the pistol jammed, switch pistol and shot again with a .45 caliber. All while holding the little 5 year old girl by the hair with the other hand. But of course the islamic terrorists (and their sympathizers) will think that his act of hatred was justified and will continue to remind us of the palestinian, iraqi, afghani and pakistani children that have died as colleteral during bombing raids by Israel or the West, because in their eyes, it is the very same thing.
  17. Somehow, that would've been awesome if the first two games would've been, atleast partly, about manufacturing a ****load of nukes for battlereadiness against the Reapers. A couple of teratons of nuclear fission and there wouldn't have been a single reaper left. It would fit the renegade option as well: "Screw those protheans and their flimsy high-tech. We're going to blow **** UP!" In the end of ME3, Shepard should've had the option of collargrabbing the god child, throw him into the device(s), plant a nuke on the station (with a grafitti painting of a middle finger) and blow the whole thing up (with convienent timer that makes for a great escape-scene). The reapers are the disabled and it's partytime at Omega.
  18. Judging from everyones comments, it seems like the writers were simply too incompetent to write a good ending and the are oblivious of it as well.
  19. I just read about the whole debacle about FNV and the Metacritic score. Jesus ******* christ what a ****move from Bethesda even demanding that kind of paragraph in a contract. It has no basis in actual sales of the product. This infuriates me greatly, since i work in an industry where millions and billions are signed in contracts each day (construction & engineering) and i have seen a lot of them. Stupid ones with wishy-washy deadlines, heavy fines for failing to meet certain qualities and standards and so on. But i have never read anything as dumb as this. When a company like Obsidian signs a contract with these kinds of terms, it is a sign of the industry standard being bad, really bad. I am usually a very calm guy, but considering how low the journalistic integrity is for the gamingmagazines as whole, i hope that we see another great video-game crash. Let the whole thing burn down and take all the twats with it, It needs it.
  20. Pffft, there's cash to be made with an open ending. Expect the "The Raiders of the lost Relay"-DLC to be announced shortly.
  21. Wait, so the Mass Relays are destroyed no matter what ending you choose? I am gonna bet that the first DLC will be about finding some collector/reaper tech that will help creating the first fully functioning relay after "The Reaper Wars". You heard here first, folks. It's probably gonna be created near earth as well, since all the whole fleet is hanging around there.
