  1. Goddamn, that's a nice sweater.
  2. Still going on: Indf/RTwP/TB 684/6331/6582 I hear the TB fans are voting via an orderly queue but its taking a lot of time to get through; on the other side, some joker yelled out "SPACE BAR" around the RTwP fans and now they're stuck waiting for someone to yell it again. Holy **** :D
  3. If you lived in a country that was under real military threat you would understand the significance of military service and the fact that women want to be soldiers wouldn't be an unusual thought for you I live in Finland, so take a wild guess on the military threat. Also, we already had women in the army in the front line services way back when i did my time in there 10 years ago, that is also beside the point. The point was, is that waving the flag for equality in something that is necessary evil is hardly something that would make you feel warm and fuzzy.
  4. Got a little bit off-topic, sorry about that. But speaking of truths: http://www.nydailynews.com/news/national/charles-manson-79-marry-girlfriend-star-25-article-1.1526791 Love conquers all!
  5. I am not frantic, I am just telling the truth. But as i said earlier, "oh well"
  6. Thanks for the cookie. I still do not see anything beautiful in trying to prove that you can shoulder the burden to heinous actions. I rather see them being high on mushrooms in a wheat field and being in love with everything. Oh well.
  7. I see no accomplishment in trying mimic the worst in men: the blood lust, the desire to kill. It is a primal force that all humans are capable of once you strip just that, their humanity. What would warm my heart would be investment bankers turning into nurses, assassins turned into monks and nuns and mercenaries becoming doctors. No matter their sex.
  8. Would you extend that statement to movies, literature, and music?
  9. It certainly does not warm my heart when women want to be hired murderers as much as men.
  10. Why am i not laughing?
  11. All hail the superior turn-based master race. Please be gentle to your inferior dirty RTwP-peasants, for they do not know what they are doing.
  12. John Carpenter's Prince of Darkness Amazing considering the budget the movie had. Very good soundtrack as well.
  13. Bruce, how jealous are you right now? They don't even have to shoehorn in sexy time, a la BioWare or CDPR, it's an RPG based around sexy time. Perfect. Down with guns, swords and violence. Onward with love, sex and fornication.
  14. I do not need a map to know that. I took a wrong turn in Philadelphia once and suddenly we we're the only white guys around.
  15. Gravity See it.
  16. ^"Finally, finally we will have our long-waiting revenge on the proletariat, bwuahahahahaaaaa"
  17. Game looks sad, I won't support any game that has such an abject and complete disregard for social issues and discrimination I am surprised you would wont to play this game Malc? Based on the premise of the article, i was expecting a game where the main character was a racial supremacist, leading his horde of thugs on a quest to commit genocide on all the lesser races. All while having a harem women pleasure-slaves. Sadly, i was dissapointed
  18. Genetics are funny in that way. For example, we share up to 50% of our DNA with a banana But i can't help wondering on how he didn't know that he had a black ancestor?
  19. You understand exactly what I'm talking about, but pretend not to, which is kind of stupid. I understand exactly what you say, but it seems like you do not understand the difference between encounter-design and turn-based combat in itself. Anyhoo, every time Gromnir posts something i always get the mental picture of a James Joyce, sitting on a sofa in an old library, slightly puffing his tobacco pipe while typing.
  20. First impression: It looks like the Witcher 2! Second impression: It plays like the Witcher 2, but no siderolling. So...like DA2?
  21. Excellent, it works exactly like the first Battlefield. Some call it bugs, I call it part of the charm.
  22. What the difference here between this and real time combat? You still have have swing your sword for each hit on each rat. I think that you are confused with **** encounter design.
  23. I would welcome turn-based combat. I hate, haaaate all these middle-of-the-road systems that always end up being broken or overly complicated. Either full ARPG like Diablo or turn-based thankyouverymuch.
  24. So basically, Torment in name only? Snip The problem is that all of that can be summarized as "we're going to try and give it a good story." Hell, using their definition the Witcher series is a spiritual successor to Torment. So, are you seriously saying that there will be absolutely no difference between Numenera, The Witcher and Mass Effect? Do you even understand what spiritual successor actually means?
