Today I visited this forum and posted a bunch of YT links, since I od'd on k-dramas for the moment and went back to random YT. Hubby got his round of back injections - the ink they used to make target dots on his back is quite persistent, hehe - but it didn't do anything for him. Now he's waiting for the appointment call re: the 2nd round/attempt. He's pretty discouraged/depressed re: life right now, etc. I've offered to sledgehammer hubby's foot or something, so then the back pain wouldn't be on his mind anymore, but he didn't seem to go for that idea

For those that don't like Disney-ish styled pop songs, here's a "hard rock" cover of Golden. It's not bad. - Today

Uncontrollably Fond was so good. Not much a fan of period drama or fantasy stuff either, but I'm sure gonna give it a try. -

Oh ,also also - this is pretty much me re: k-pop demon hunters. The movie is still only "somewhat above average" to me (CGI animation detail being it's major highlight perhaps) but a few of the songs that didn't initially impress, have grown on me to the point they've been put the "on endless repeat, sometimes" list. I suppose it's kind like my reaction to Frozen (it's entertaining but mid, but that one song grew on me) S. He's bit here is because he does the orange-haired demon in a Danny Phantom Your Idol cosplay. which isn't bad visually - it's almost 9million views and they're doing sodapop next. The fandom of this musical film and the songs is kinda nuts, lol. -

Oct. 3rd. Looks to be largely set in modern times, vs. period drama, if you're wondering. Ancient genie with Suzy as his new "three wish" owner. It's been 10 years since Uncontrollably Fond ripped my heart out. Not sure I'm a fan of the genie (I think he's more like a devil - Iblis) concept but I hope it'll be good. Also, I still haven't watched all of Fallout1 series. >.> That Vegas-y trailer for 2nd season looks promising tho! -
https://www.theguardian.com/world/2025/aug/19/what-security-guarantees-might-ukraine-get-in-return-for-a-peace-deal The US doesnt need to deploy " boots on the ground " to support the EU in security guarantees for Ukraine End of the day this is a proposed US\Trump peace plan and we need to see how it unfolds and what is agreed on "Trump has promised to coordinate a Europe-led peacekeeping operation in Ukraine. “When it comes to security, there’s going to be a lot of help,” he said on Monday, sitting next to Zelenskyy in the Oval Office. The US president made clear European countries would be expected to carry most of the burden. “They are a first line of defence because they’re there. But we’ll help them out,” he said. Ukraine wants to buy $90bn worth of US weapons and says they could form part of the security guarantee. Overall, however, Trump has been vague about how much the US would contribute. He has ruled out Ukraine’s membership of Nato, which Kyiv believes would be the best deterrent against a future Russian onslaught. There seems no prospect the US would send its own troops to take part in a peace-keeping mission. One more realistic option would be for the Pentagon to provide logistical support to a proposed “sky shield”. The plan envisages an air protection zone in the west and the centre of Ukraine, including over the capital Kyiv, enforced by European fighter jets. "

Nightshade (Belladonna) Piggybacking another players post "we should be able to eat berries" I totally agree, we SHOULD be able to eat berries. I'd like to also suggest adding Nightshade "berries" if you eat them, you die or get so ill you lose 1 in game day? But we can use the deadly berries to craft smoothies, armor (Nightshade Rogue) weapons, base decor etc. The possibilities with poisonous berries are endless. Oooh, a combo armor set with scorpions and poisonous berries, hear me out, Northern Nightshade .

Cool idea for berry meat and skin. But I totally agree, the fact that you can eat Aphid honeydew and not eat berries always confused me. I wouldn't expect it to be like a full meal, but, it's a survival game, sort of, foraging berries to not starve feels like it just belongs. -

I love the underwater base building idea so much!!!! Atlantis vibes! Also, I 100% agree with the omnitool comment. The concept is great, no inventory space lost to necessary tools, but the feel of it is frustrating, and the keybind being the same as interacting is driving me nuts. Harvesting with the omnitool is so SLOW. yes, I know the ant buggy makes it faster to chop, but constantly having to jump on and off to chop and carry weed stems makes the whole base building experience, well...just overall less enjoyable. Plus, the sour axe was one of my all time favorite weapons/tool combos. Even into NG+ in grounded 1. And Agreed, buggy friends need to learn some personal space, I have sent mine back to base so many times for getting in the way. -

I like the favorite idea if it keeps the location of those items upon looting your corpse. I have dedicated spots for some items like trinket top left for fast swapping. When you die you always have to shuffle things back around. It's a minor inconvience but would be nice if it was solvable. -

#smollfloortriangles There's others to the list too for sure. Even the new Pine walls dont have rounded variants which makes building a whole space very box like. - Yesterday

Agree, it looks beautiful but functionally it is really hard to use in some areas. When you drop a pin for a location it seems to drop from the sky and hits anything in the way so using it where trees are is almost useless. Making maps for caves can be really tricky with their layering so I understand if that cannot be done. But what would also help is if we could choose to turn on or off types of markers we make. I aways want to know where my house is, but I dont ever want to know where a tunnel I explored is. So rather than marking them, as I'd rather do, I'm instead just putting up a blueprint wall of grass (not building) to warn me that I've been there already. It's great that the scanner is attached to us and lets us scan 4 items now. I don't really like how it limits it to only 10 items per resource and that there is no way to see the density of the resource in that location. Previously the color of the dots on the map indicated the quanity you could find and you would be able to see what part of the map had the most of it. It allowed you to make a more educated choice of where to go to collect something. It also only showed items in areas we had explored/revealed. It's a bit odd to be able to see what enemies are where within the fog of war simply by tracking for them.

From the management that brought you Disco Elysium: -
Cut the # of buggies in half, put it on the left side of the wheel. Bring back the mutations on the right side in the exact spots they are in Grounded for uniformity across both games. We can only ever be on 1 buggy at a time. There's currently only 2 variants. There is no need for us to have 8 summon slots for a mount and 0 for mutations.
