March 6, 20178 yr Oh, before I forget, a little suggestion from me: SinglePlayerGamer U2SM these two channels are pretty much dead but holy crap are they worth checking out! There used to be a signature here, a really cool one...and now it's gone.
March 8, 20178 yr Codex editorials and reviews are worth checking out and trump most professional sites, the Watch is better for news on a daily basis, but most sites are laughable such as the supposed "experienced developers" of Extra Credits blathering on about what's fashionably regressive or blatantly obvious. RPS (though worthless on the whole) still has Mr Cobbett's column on RPGs I believe, and at least the man has played a few of the better ones, rather than being a blinkered Bethtard. Quite an experience to live in misery isn't it? That's what it is to be married with children.I've seen things you people can't even imagine. Pearly Kings glittering on the Elephant and Castle, Morris Men dancing 'til the last light of midsummer. I watched Druid fires burning in the ruins of Stonehenge, and Yorkshiremen gurning for prizes. All these things will be lost in time, like alopecia on a skinhead. Time for tiffin. Tea for the teapot!
March 9, 20178 yr I'm a Obsitard?! Yeah, that will do, LOUD AND PROUD YO! There used to be a signature here, a really cool one...and now it's gone.
March 12, 20178 yr im a bethtard Well nobody's perfect. No mind to think. No will to break. No voice to cry suffering.
April 18, 20178 yr RetrospectiveGaming is a YouTube channel well worth checking out. There used to be a signature here, a really cool one...and now it's gone.
April 18, 20178 yr The Know... (A gaming news channel on YouTube.) Just what do you think you're doing?! You dare to come between me and my prey? Is it a habit of yours to scurry about, getting in the way and causing bother? What are you still bothering me for? I'm a Knight. I'm not interested in your childish games. I need my rest. Begone! Lest I draw my nail...
April 19, 20178 yr Why has nobody mentioned IGN? *sound of pitchforks gathering in the distance* Swedes, go to: Spel2, for the latest game reviews in swedish!
April 19, 20178 yr Jim Sterling is the Stephen A Smith of video games. 🇺🇸RFK Jr 2024🇺🇸 "Any organization created out of fear must create fear to survive." - Bill Hicks

April 19, 20178 yr I think it's a little harsh. I'm no fan of his, and I get the point, but while he's prone to being a raving lunatic, he often brings up subjects that others aren't willing to help get the ball rolling, which I appreciate. And other times, he just takes the most ridiculous and inane stances that really make you wonder what the heck was going through his head. The issue of playing a character, I suppose... Edited April 19, 20178 yr by Bartimaeus Quote Against stupidity we have no defense. Neither protests nor force can touch it. Reasoning is of no use. Facts that contradict personal prejudices can simply be disbelieved - indeed, the fool can counter by criticizing them, and if they are undeniable, they can just be pushed aside as trivial exceptions. So the fool, as distinct from the scoundrel, is completely self-satisfied. In fact, they can easily become dangerous, as it does not take much to make them aggressive. For that reason, greater caution is called for than with a malicious one. Never again will we try to persuade the stupid person with reasons, for it is senseless and dangerous.
April 20, 20178 yr That's why I like to watch his show. He goes overboard a lot, sometimes more than is comfortable for me, but as you said. He talks about issues in the industry, that very few other "magazines" have guts to talk about. And the thing, that he was one of the few people (along with Total Buscuit) invited to Valve, after they killed off Greenlight shovelware, says that the big players are listening to him as well... April 20, 20178 yr Thank GOD for Jim. Civilization, in fact, grows more and more maudlin and hysterical; especially under democracy it tends to degenerate into a mere combat of crazes; the whole aim of practical politics is to keep the populace alarmed (and hence clamorous to be led to safety) by menacing it with an endless series of hobgoblins, most of them imaginary. - H.L. Mencken
