If i am not mistaken... you cant get it, neither can you get the turn based quest items (damn... there is one very very very good item for my solo character T_T)... please prove me wrong and tell me otherwise^^

Yup. You can't. There is no way to say "Stay in Caed Nua Friend" without previously joining companion (except when Your party is full), so in solo achievements You won't be able to complete Turn Based Quest (tbh any quest at all) neither most of "someone is asking for escort", "someone is asking of help".

 

Also TCS Completionist is probably impossible to make :-P My TCS at least was speedrun (in around 3 hours).

I'm pretty sure all visitors can be dealt with without the help of a companion. However the stronghold quests and their rewards won't be available solo...

I think it's pretty lame this bars you from the Helwax Mold, duping two a desired weapon is quite a big deal if dual-wielding (i.e. like most monks, which is probably the most common TCS build to go with if I'm not mistaken) or if you want the same shield in two item sets. I was hoping to dupe Whispers of Yenwood so I could get +4 CON on my PotD solo (not TCS) because I've heard that when both boosts are are weapons they don't get suppressed - before I realised it was a stronghold quest item.

 

It'd maybe be nice to be able to hire someone (i.e. not a proper companion, so you could maintain "solo") with the drawbacks being a hefty hire cost (most of the provided cash reward) and possibly the adventure taking an additional turn.

as if steam had achievements -.- so i have TCS achievement, won the game and a bit more... but... i havent completed act 3 yet?!- havent cleared 4 bounties yet, havent enchanted 5 times, havent killed adra+sky dragon... jeah right... sure? My achievements bug all the time, with luck they work one day and i get some... but most of the time they dont... so "i wish i had achievements" too...

Ah. That explains it. I never opened the full list, just noticed that I unlocked some. But that's odd, why didn't they add the new ones? Are they going to do it later? The base game initially didn't have achievements either.
