possible azzuro bug

am genuine not certain if our azzuro issue is a bug, but at least one other person is having a similar experience.

in the past, when azzuro would show up in the stronghold, he were in the main keep.  am not recalling which build made it possible to purchase azzuro's goods even if you did not return to the keep, but we recall having been able to do so.  sadly, now we get azzuro to show and... nothing.  am informed that he is present, but am not able to find him within the stronghold complex.  furthermore, we no longer have the option to purchase his goods from afar.

Same exact issue here. I just started playing for the first time so I thought the guy was hiding somewhere.

Hey guys,

 

In order to purchase goods from Azzuro, you have to complete his dilemma quest, once that gets resolved, you will be able to purchase goods from him whenever he returns to the Stronghold. If he is appearing and you can speak with him in the Great Hall, then that would be a bug. However, I have seen him appear in the keep. So if you have a save where he isn't present, please upload a save file so I can take a look.

I've completed the dilemma quest, and since then he's shown up twice without selling anything, and without actually *being* there. Like, I can't find him. He's also shown up to sell me a couple of things, so it's kind of a confusing situation.

 

When he shows up without selling, it's almost sort of like he wants to give me the quest, because here's there for 7 or 8 days, but the quest symbol (the scroll) isn't next to him, I've already completed his dilemma quest, AND he's nowhere to be found.

 

I'll see if I have a save file for him showing up without any goods.

 

ETA: I don't have a save file at the right place, but here's a screenshot of the message I got the second time he showed up not selling anything.

 

 

As you can see, it doesn't even say Azzuro's name.

 

When he shows up with goods I can purchase from him wherever I am, so that's not a problem I'm having.

Did you complete his dilemma via copper pieces? There is currently a bug right now where it will bug out the visitors if you send them on their way with money.

Oh -- is there a thread discussing that? I looked around a bit and couldn't find one. It seemed like my only option for many of the visitors was to pay them off (or tell them I wasn't interested in their plight).

 

Similarly, even the guests that I don't pay off still come back -- the drunkard, for instance. I said that I'd find him work at the Sanitarium, he said great, and then the event log shows that he'll "return in XX days". Then he returns and I need to pay him or escort him as per pre-3.0 stronghold guests. I think the same thing happened with the thief (from whom I got the Cheater's Cloak). As you say, this definitely happens with the guests that you assist solely with coin.

It's not a quest as in a quest that goes in your journal, it's just when he approaches you about his problem with bandits. That is what you're supposed to complete for him to start showing up at your stronghold and selling stuff, however it seems like he's missing in a lot of peoples saves when the stronghold log says he should be there.

This problem should be fixed in 3.02. In your save, since he's always "visiting" you will have to wait for him to leave, then he will return eventually to sell you goods.

Sounds good, is him "visiting" different to him selling his goods then? Are they two separate events, one where he visits to trade and one where he visits to, well, visit? I also noticed, though I don't have a save for it, that other visitors didn't appear in the keep when they were visiting (I think it was the Saint's War Hero, not that it matters seeing as you don't need to talk to them again after their dilemma is solved, but I thought it might be related).

Apparently you don't have to actually talk to him to buy is item.  He just showed up for the sixth time (via message) when I was in Caer Nua this time but, as usual, not in corporeal form.  After looking all over for him (again), for some reason I opened the stronghold screen and selected the action button.  There in the list of actions was an entry for Azzuro  that showed what he was offering and a "purchase" button to the right.  Just click to buy or ignore it if you prefer.  The item shows up in the chest in the general merchant's room in the keep.

This happens also with other visitors. Geyda, Azzuro and Solmar the Slaver just have two different "interactions", after the first dilemma is resolved, they should come only to sell items, buy slave or test subjects, but they are also treated as "presitigious" visitor with zero prestige and security, probably the script that stop them to be recurrent visitors failed.

The others just come as recurrent visitors (the old ones), also in circumstances in which they should not.

It's fine Lord Simroc come back from time to time since you helped him, not so fine if he return after you killed him

Yep. I'm playing 3.0.2. I've solved A's dilemma (with Pelligina, not copper) and Azzuro has returned but he's nowhere to be found and there's no option to trade with him from the Action screen. It's a shame, as I was looking forward to buying some interesting trinkets for the approaching endgame.

I got a bug with Azzuro, I received a message from the Stronghold "Azzuro is here for 7 days and can sell you Malina's Boots", but nothing in the Stronghold menu, nothing to buy. I decided to return to the Stronghold to see if I could find him, but when I arrived to the stronghold, he had left (it was only a 24 hours travel, and he was supposed to stay for 5 days more I was at Raedric fortress).

 

I loaded my last save file (when I was still at Raedric fortress), but still nothing to buy from Azzuro Stronghold menu, so I decided to explore and after a load screen I received another message from the stronghold : Azzuro is here, this time for an armor., and this time it have worked and I got the armor... 
Azzuro can be bugged sometime, or may be he can duplicate himself ...

Ok, so you mean we have to wait he left to buy from him something, good to know...

I would like to ask a question about Azzuro, I done some search on google, and found players who ask for Azzuro location in the stronghold, and others who answer them "he is in the main room", so it is not very clear for me :

When Azzuro is at the Stronghold, is he literally (physically) here ? I mean can we speak to him like our others merchants (if yes, where is he ) ? or does he appear only like any other Stronghold events in the menu only (and sell one item per visit) ?

Is that normal that when Azzuro come to the stronghold (I receive message : Azzuro offer to sell you x item), but after he left, I can't buy anything from him ? I am playing on PS4 with the latest version of the game..

If I am correct Azzuro is supposed to offer to sell you his items when he left the fortress, and sometime it is the case, I can get items from him, but other times nothing, he have nothing to sell ...

Any fix to that please ?

2023 and this issue still exists.. shame that they still make money off of a game that they refuse to fix simple issues on. Most of the bugs the game has I can get by with by restarting my switch. But not this one, and one or two other ones. It would be a perfect game if they just cared enough to do a few updates.
