Bought fonv and Oblivion. Didn't buy fallout 3 because I love the game modded and dislike the vanilla. Dont wanna go thru that.

Also got Morrowind for like 3 bucks as well.

What kind of mods are there that could possibly make Fallout 3 worth playing?

Aside from one that turns it into Van Buren, I can't think of one.

Mmmm wastelander mod, a mod that replaces the ambiance music with horror music from the 60s & 70s, alot of single function for lil things mod. It's a long list.

Reason why I LOVE my modded FO3 is because I always view it as a game to role-play a scavenger in a badly done b rated scary movie. That's it, no other options if that makes any sense lol.

    I also got 12 new GOG connect games.

     

    Not bad, not bad at all.  :shrugz:

    Is FO:NV with DLC worth the 10 nuyen? I have the base game on Steam but I never could get into it. I think it's the Elder Scrollsness of it because I could never get into any of those games even though I've long wished that I could.

     

    This is a strange sentiment to me because the design philosophy behind F:NV clearly makes it a lot more similar to Fallout, Fallout 2, and Obsidian's other titles, rather than Bethesda's stuff. The only thing it shares in common with the TES games and F3 is the engine, really. It's like saying you could never get into Planescape: Torment because of the Baldur's Gateness of it... :ermm:

     

    That said, yes! IMO it's absolutely worth it. F:NV easily makes my top 5 all time favorite games and the DLC are amazing. They are also required for the jsawyer mod which makes the game feel even more like the classic Fallouts.

    I bought two loot pinatas and got lucky. Got a Saints Row game I didn't have yet and Alien vs. Predator. I'm still tempted but I probably should quit while I'm ahead of the curve. Most random games I got from GoG one way or the other were indie adventures.

    No mind to think. No will to break. No voice to cry suffering.

    I decided to waste some money and bought three.

     

    -Normality, an old adventure that I haven't played since my brother has bought it more than a decace ago. It wasn't great, but nice.

    -S.T.A.L.K.E.R. - Call of Pripyat, which I haven't got yet.

    -Spacecom, maybe I should try a new genre.

     

    Not that bad, after all. It could have been worse.
