Gromnir Posted June 29, 2016 Posted June 29, 2016 is hard to imagine that an aretha franklin album would be panned by critics even a "bad" aretha album is gonna have a few great tracks. HA! Good Fun! Gromnir Posted June 30, 2016 Posted June 30, 2016 not a great vocalist, but hornsby is a virtuoso musician. is possible that the branford marsalis and bruce hornsby star spangled banner is still our favorite rendition, though is tough to find a good live recording. Valsuelm Posted June 30, 2016 Posted June 30, 2016 Saw these guys live some years back in Tuscon before they were headlining. I was there working with another band at a stadium music festival. Some good acts were there, but Muse stole the show and made me a fan. Prior to them hitting the stage, I'd barely known of them. Absolutely amazing live band. If you get a chance, see them. Also, this Blu-Ray is awesome. 2

Black Holes and Revelations easily is one of the best rock albums of this millennium. 2 "Things are funny...are comedic, because they mix the real with the absurd." - Buzz Aldrin."P-O-T-A-T-O-E" - Dan Quayle
Bartimaeus Posted July 4, 2016 Posted July 4, 2016 Quote Against stupidity we have no defense. Neither protests nor force can touch it. Reasoning is of no use. Facts that contradict personal prejudices can simply be disbelieved - indeed, the fool can counter by criticizing them, and if they are undeniable, they can just be pushed aside as trivial exceptions. So the fool, as distinct from the scoundrel, is completely self-satisfied. In fact, they can easily become dangerous, as it does not take much to make them aggressive. For that reason, greater caution is called for than with a malicious one. Never again will we try to persuade the stupid person with reasons, for it is senseless and dangerous.

Enoch Posted July 7, 2016 Posted July 7, 2016 On the drive into work this morning, I think my 2-year-old made his first song request that wasn't some variant of "sing this nursery rhyme." I asked what music we should listen to, and he said "Wobots!"

Orogun01 Posted July 7, 2016 Posted July 7, 2016 Ignore the corny cover, the song is actually quite catchy I'd say the answer to that question is kind of like the answer to "who's the sucker in this poker game?"* *If you can't tell, it's you.
