Darkpriest Posted April 25, 2015 Posted April 25, 2015 That art is ****ing horrible and everyone involved should be sent to a gulag immediately. It makes Torchlight look grimdark. That, plus I like your new signature, so another plus for the post.. i think that i will put a like on each of your new posts i will read just because of that signature with orc riders 1
PrimeJunta Posted April 25, 2015 Posted April 25, 2015 Ow, my eyes. I have a project. It's a tabletop RPG. It's free. It's a work in progress. Find it here: www.brikoleur.com
HoonDing Posted April 25, 2015 Posted April 25, 2015 That art is ****ing horrible and everyone involved should be sent to a gulag immediately. It makes Torchlight look grimdark. WAAAAAAGHHHH The ending of the words is ALMSIVI.
Bryy Posted April 25, 2015 Posted April 25, 2015 So apparently I'm the only one who thinks it looks awesomeballs.
Mamoulian War Posted April 25, 2015 Posted April 25, 2015 (edited) So apparently I'm the only one who thinks it looks awesomeballs. Nah, I look at my awesome balls once in a while too. Jaesun Posted April 25, 2015 Posted April 25, 2015 I was looking at the US trademark for Sword Coast Legends™, which is owned by WotC/HASBRO, which tells me they are the ones publishing this. A real damn shame WotC wants to make a MMO combat game with cool-downs, targeted at the general public, instead of an actual turn based D&D game, targeted specifically for D&D fans. *sigh* Why do you hate turn based games WotC? Guard Dog Posted April 26, 2015 Posted April 26, 2015 Jeez I want my money back. I was afraid this thing would turn into a bowl of vanilla mush. Now it's looking like a bowl of something else. Let this be a lesson to you all. Don't buy a game until you learn a little more about it. But then again I bought PoE sight unseen and to say that turned out well would be an understatement. Gfted1 Posted April 27, 2015 Posted April 27, 2015 So apparently I'm the only one who thinks it looks awesomeballs. Nope, I plan on throwing money at if after release. It looks like everything I hoped PoE would be. "I'm your biggest fan, Ill follow you until you love me, Papa"
Monte Carlo Posted April 27, 2015 Posted April 27, 2015 The gameplay looks fun. It's the concept art that is an offence to D&D, which traditionally has had art with some soul to it. Not this.... stuff. 1
Amentep Posted April 27, 2015 Posted April 27, 2015 It can't all be Erol Otus. I cannot - yet I must. How do you calculate that? At what point on the graph do "must" and "cannot" meet? Yet I must - but I cannot! ~ Ro-Man
WorstUsernameEver Posted April 27, 2015 Posted April 27, 2015 The gameplay looks fun. It's the concept art that is an offence to D&D, which traditionally has had art with some soul to it. Looks like the kind of style they've been going for since 3rd edition to me.
HoonDing Posted April 27, 2015 Posted April 27, 2015 As if D&D has ever looked anything other than ren faire. 1 The ending of the words is ALMSIVI.

Gfted1 Posted May 4, 2015 Posted May 4, 2015 I thought the same thing. She looks like Michelle Rodriguez in the face to me. "I'm your biggest fan, Ill follow you until you love me, Papa"
Dadalama Posted May 4, 2015 Posted May 4, 2015 D&D is best when it's Ren Fair with a bit of conan and/or road warrior. That's what the old module art looked like. These days, D&D and Pathfinder has this weird post anime artwork with some character designs that are WAY too busy. It's good to criticize things you love.

Monte Carlo Posted May 7, 2015 Posted May 7, 2015 Their cliche fantasy name generator has gone into meltdown. 3
Mamoulian War Posted May 7, 2015 Posted May 7, 2015 Lol seriously, the names of the characters... I am speechless O.o If they put as much thought into gameplay than they put into the names, I am really afraid about this game... Sent from my Stone Tablet, using Chisel-a-Talk 2000BC.
