Monte Carlo Posted September 6, 2014 Posted September 6, 2014 Dammit, I'm not one to usually grovel like this but I'd like to put my appreciation for Sensuki's ongoing commitment and hard work testing this game, and coming up with consistently cogent and interesting solutions. FWIW, cheers mate. I appreciate it enormously and hope you get the recognition you deserve. I wish I had the ability to identify the guts of the problem like you can, but I can't and am thus very grateful. Please, fellow community members, despite our differences pile in and cyber-stroke the man's ego. 'Tis richly deserved. 43
IndiraLightfoot Posted September 6, 2014 Posted September 6, 2014 I have the utmost respect for and appreciation of Sensuki's efforts. They are almost always spot on and in-depth. His post counts when a new patch gets released is astronomical. He should get paid by OE, and we should obligate Obsidian to consider all of his suggestions by decree. A huge ta, Sensuki! Excellent work!! 5 *** "The words of someone who feels ever more the ent among saplings when playing CRPGs" ***
Marceror Posted September 6, 2014 Posted September 6, 2014 Well, he is a Witcher, after all. And a crazy Brit. It's a good combo. "Now to find a home for my other staff."My Project Eternity Interview with Adam Brennecke
Sensuki Posted September 6, 2014 Posted September 6, 2014 (edited) Thanks bros I want this game to be the best it can be. Luckily I'm not employed at the moment (recently lost my job due to cuts) so I can afford to spend 15 hours a day testing the game v278 Day 1: Edited September 6, 2014 by Sensuki 19
Karkarov Posted September 6, 2014 Posted September 6, 2014 Thanks bros I want this game to be the best it can be. Luckily I'm not employed at the moment (recently lost my job due to cuts) so I can afford to spend 15 hours a day testing the game v278 Day 1: Lul. Thank god I am not showing on the list.
Sensuki Posted September 6, 2014 Posted September 6, 2014 (edited) Haha i've seen you in the top 3 a few times. More than me some days too. Edited September 6, 2014 by Sensuki
Marceror Posted September 6, 2014 Posted September 6, 2014 How in the hells did I get on that list! And I am employed! Good thing I'm taking the family on a road trip today. 2 "Now to find a home for my other staff."My Project Eternity Interview with Adam Brennecke
Sensuki Posted September 6, 2014 Posted September 6, 2014 I'll have a treat for everyone soon. Me and Matt516 have been working on something for quite a few days now, it will be massive 9
ManifestedISO Posted September 6, 2014 Posted September 6, 2014 Really, British, not from Oz ... okay, fine, will start taking him seriously. All Stop. On Screen.
Sensuki Posted September 6, 2014 Posted September 6, 2014 I am from Australia, perhaps he's just not familiar with the accent. I should do an ochre video. 4
Marceror Posted September 6, 2014 Posted September 6, 2014 Ah, I guess he's an Aussie. Well, that's a former British colony, so it sort of still applies. "Now to find a home for my other staff."My Project Eternity Interview with Adam Brennecke
Marceror Posted September 6, 2014 Posted September 6, 2014 I am from Australia, perhaps he's just not familiar with the accent. I should do an ochre video. I have worked a lot with British (mostly English) and Australian companies, so I really have no excuse for getting that wrong. I clearly wasn't paying close attention to the accent. Sensuki Posted September 6, 2014 Posted September 6, 2014 (edited) Welcome to Australia: will probably get censored by a mod, but it's worth watching hahah. Edited September 6, 2014 by Sensuki 4

PrimeJunta Posted September 6, 2014 Posted September 6, 2014 Hear hear. To Sensuki! Obsidian ought to fly you in to butt heads with JES for a few days. I have no doubts it would do wonders for the game. There's nothing quite like sparring with an intelligent end-user to get the product right. 10 I have a project. It's a tabletop RPG. It's free. It's a work in progress. Find it here: www.brikoleur.com
Sensuki Posted September 6, 2014 Posted September 6, 2014 Most of the stuff I suggest is mostly grounded in what the Infinity Engine games did. I'm not sure if many at OE have the time to fire up Icewind Dale or an equivalent and have a look at how the old games did things, but that's mostly what I've been doing (I remember how most stuff works anyway). 1
Sensuki Posted September 6, 2014 Posted September 6, 2014 (edited) Btw I did this the other day after Osvir said I didn't show enough emotion in my videos: Edited September 6, 2014 by Sensuki 15

IndiraLightfoot Posted September 6, 2014 Posted September 6, 2014 Sensuki: Dudebro style, that's hilarious! Really funny. I get this Bill and Ted's Excellent Adventure vibe, but with more swearing. *** "The words of someone who feels ever more the ent among saplings when playing CRPGs" ***
Ganrich Posted September 6, 2014 Posted September 6, 2014 Yeah, at first I was like "Who is doing the VO in this video?" Then I heard Sensuki's Aussie accent bleed through a bit, and I started rolling. Good impersonation, Sensuki.

C2B Posted September 6, 2014 Posted September 6, 2014 (edited) I disagree with Sensukis views as often as I do with Sawyers, but he's a cool self-confident dude with strong opinions. And thats an immensly helpful quality for giving feedback and sparking discussions. Edited September 6, 2014 by C2B 2
