Agiel
Where's Scharfschütze? http://simonmenner.com/pages/Camouflage.htm Edited March 18, 2014 by Agiel Quote “Political philosophers have often pointed out that in wartime, the citizen, the male citizen at least, loses one of his most basic rights, his right to life; and this has been true ever since the French Revolution and the invention of conscription, now an almost universally accepted principle. But these same philosophers have rarely noted that the citizen in question simultaneously loses another right, one just as basic and perhaps even more vital for his conception of himself as a civilized human being: the right not to kill.” -Jonathan Littell <<Les Bienveillantes>> Quote "The chancellor, the late chancellor, was only partly correct. He was obsolete. But so is the State, the entity he worshipped. Any state, entity, or ideology becomes obsolete when it stockpiles the wrong weapons: when it captures territories, but not minds; when it enslaves millions, but convinces nobody. When it is naked, yet puts on armor and calls it faith, while in the Eyes of God it has no faith at all. Any state, any entity, any ideology that fails to recognize the worth, the dignity, the rights of Man...that state is obsolete." -Rod Serling

Azdeus
Have to say that the Home Alone version is better though... so... much... pain! Civilization, in fact, grows more and more maudlin and hysterical; especially under democracy it tends to degenerate into a mere combat of crazes; the whole aim of practical politics is to keep the populace alarmed (and hence clamorous to be led to safety) by menacing it with an endless series of hobgoblins, most of them imaginary. - H.L. Raithe
Like cats and dogsWhat is a Cat?1) Cats do what they want.2) They rarely listen to you.3) They're totally unpredictable.4) They whine when they are not happy.5) When you want to play, they want to be alone.6) When you want to be alone, they want to play.7) They expect you to cater to their every whim. They're moody.9) They leave hair everywhere.10) They drive you nuts and cost an arm and a leg. Conclusion: Cats are tiny women in little fur coats. What is a Dog?1) Dogs lie around all day, sprawled on the most comfortable piece of furniture in the house.2) They can hear a package of food opening half a block away, but don't hear you when you're in the same room.3) They can look dumb and lovable all at the same time.4) They growl when they are not happy.5) When you want to play, they want to play.6) When you want to be alone, they want to play.7) They are great at begging. They will love you forever if you rub their tummies.9) They leave their toys everywhere.10) They do disgusting things with their mouths and then try to give you a kiss. Conclusion:Dogs are men in little fur coats 5 "Cuius testiculos habeas, habeas cardia et cerebellum."
ManifestedISO
Well then, why do I love women and despise kittehs in equal measure ... doesn't make sense. Oh, no, wait, yes I do know ... women smell like Chanel and shea butter ... cats like ammonia and death. 2 All Stop. On Screen.
Agiel
Number 1 for dogs is as much the case with cats as well. Good on them that number six are the same for both. Whenever I'm at home from uni and I go into my room when the cat is in his "fangs out" state I have to be on my guard with a spray bottle full of water. Agiel
As I sit at the edge of my seat for Dark Souls 2 (on the PC), I found this gem: Quote “Political philosophers have often pointed out that in wartime, the citizen, the male citizen at least, loses one of his most basic rights, his right to life; and this has been true ever since the French Revolution and the invention of conscription, now an almost universally accepted principle. teknoman2
As I sit at the edge of my seat for Dark Souls 2 (on the PC), I found this gem: http://gallery.racoonfink.com/d/11320-4/ray-charles-i-cant-see-**** The words freedom and liberty, are diminishing the true meaning of the abstract concept they try to explain. The true nature of freedom is such, that the human mind is unable to comprehend it, so we make a cage and name it freedom in order to give a tangible meaning to what we dont understand, just as our ancestors made gods like Thor or Zeus to explain thunder. -Teknoman2- What? You thought it was a quote from some well known wise guy from the past? Stupidity leads to willful ignorance - willful ignorance leads to hope - hope leads to sex - and that is how a new generation of fools is born! We are hardcore role players... When we go to bed with a girl, we roll a D20 to see if we hit the target and a D6 to see how much penetration damage we did. Rosbjerg
For those of you that play Crusader Kings (or Paradox games in general), this thread is hilarious and a great example of just how random these games can be.. So now I have put down the revolts, and my army of the damned terrorize the Irish High Kingdom and there's not a damned thing anyone can do about it but stare in utter horror of the fulfillment of a satanic plot to overthrow a kingdom blessed by the arrival of a warrior saint who now weeps over the corpses of her dead family.Help me. 1 Fortune favors the bald.
