I'm glad to see more and more people joining the Order and upping their pledges for this project.

 

Its also awesome to see over 50k people have pledged, and that we are very close to hitting the next stretch goal. All with 15 days still to go, I hope it can hit $3M or more!

I agree. The dearth of good old school rpgs lately really needs a shot in the arm, and if this kickstarter hits 3 million or better, like Wasteland 2 almost did, we might see more of the games we love get developed. Plus it'd be a nice wake-up call for those who still belieave streamlining rpgs is a good idea (I'm looking at you DA2!)

The KS Collector's Edition does not include the Collector's Book.

Hey folks. I just upped my pledge to 258$ plus postage fees, so I'm here to join the Obsidian Order!

 

Title: Grey Eminence of the Obsidian Order

 

Why Grey Eminence? Just look at my forum join date (2004) and post count (1). How much more can you be in the background? ;)

Is the 'NWN2-hater of the Obsidian Order' title available? If so, I would love to get it, my hate for that game can't be measured with words, damn, I miss those 60 hours of my life, why in the world did I think that it would be a good idea to play it instead of going directly for the amazing MOTB? WHY?! ;_;

MotB rocks, but I didn't find NWN2 that bad... maybe that's because I pre-ordered the CE (worst CE ever!) and finished the game before MotB was released.

I loved NWN 2 too! :) It is beyond me how anyone can hate that great game! Sure, Neeshka was a bit painful to listen to, but the wonderful companions and fun dialogue certainly blow me away. Did I mention I am an avid D&D fan? So well, there is that too.

 

Anywho, MotB, is the expansion Mask of the Betrayer, in my humble opinion one of the best written games ever! It is probably the main reason why I chose to back Obsidian on this. Need I say Kaelyn? What a character!

Ahhh, it's the initals righto. I have the expansion also, and I thought it was awesome. I think Gannayev was probably one of my first 'Gaming' Loves :)

Choose a title and introduce yourself here in this thread. You will then receive your personal forum title.

 

After the Kickstarter has ended you will receive a survey from Obsidian where you can state that the extra $8 is for the Obsidian Order. Until then it is honor system... so be honest. :)
