Hey Devs, don't want to be pushy or anything...

Yeah, the project is already two days old. Slackers... :p

This is Kickstarter which means the project hasn't started yet.

I don't think they have even decided on the engine, which again is something that can only be done once the project get going.

I would bet a virtual six pack of beer that they are going to use Onyx for a number of reasons. It's internally developed and supported, it seems stable and they have experience with it and its tool sets already. Dungeon Siege III runs on it, as does the current in development South Park game. Two very different types of games, both visually and game mechanics wise. At least seen from the outside, it looks like an obvious choice.

Some games, like Dead State and Grim Dawn, were well into development before running a Kickstarter campaign, but Eternity, Shadowrun Returns, a bunch of adventure games and Wasteland 2 had nothing. Well... they had a bunch of developers brooding over the possibility to revisit franchises and scratching the itch to expand upon them. Eternity is a bit different because it is a spiritual successor and not a blatant sequel or derivative of an original series.

Grandiose statements, cryptic warnings, blind fanboyisim and an opinion that leaves no room for argument and will never be dissuaded. Welcome to the forums, you'll go far in this place my boy, you'll go far!

Not to mention they already worked on a render for this one.

Josh says the game is in the very early stages of development. In all likelihood they've got sketches and maybe a pre-alpha tech demo, if the tools have been built.

Josh also says that he couldn't get the blog post w/ party size clarification and the like done today, it's tentatively out tomorrow.
