Malcador Posted July 7, 2011 Posted July 7, 2011 Dishonored I think I need to jerk off now. Err..over what? That marketing fluff? Might be worth following that game, anyway,. Why has elegance found so little following? Elegance has the disadvantage that hard work is needed to achieve it and a good education to appreciate it. - Edsger Wybe Dijkstra
HoonDing Posted July 7, 2011 Posted July 7, 2011 Meh. I'm only interested in Arx Fatalis 2 or Dark Messiah 2 from Arkane. The ending of the words is ALMSIVI.
sorophx Posted July 7, 2011 Posted July 7, 2011 so, this is going to be like Half-Life 2 only with stealth? Walsingham said: I was struggling to understand ths until I noticed you are from Finland. And having been educated solely by mkreku in this respect I am convinced that Finland essentially IS the wh40k universe.
Tale Posted July 7, 2011 Posted July 7, 2011 so, this is going to be like Half-Life 2 only with stealth? I'm thinking it'll be like Dark Messiah, only in City 17. "Show me a man who "plays fair" and I'll show you a very talented cheater."
Morgoth Posted July 7, 2011 Posted July 7, 2011 Meh. I'm only interested in Arx Fatalis 2 or Dark Messiah 2 from Arkane. Yeah, it sucks that some developers choose not to make boring sequels. Rain makes everything better.
Maria Caliban Posted July 7, 2011 Posted July 7, 2011 Dishonored I think I need to jerk off now. Nothing gets me hotter than vague marketing speak. Button -> Awesome. "When is this out. I can't wait to play it so I can talk at length about how bad it is." - Gorgon.
Purkake Posted July 7, 2011 Posted July 7, 2011 Geez, get a subforum, you two! Dark Messiah was awesome, though.
Morgoth Posted July 7, 2011 Posted July 7, 2011 (edited) No marketing speak can get in-between me and the awesomeness that is Arkane and Viktor Antanov! Edited July 7, 2011 by Morgoth Rain makes everything better.
Nepenthe Posted July 7, 2011 Posted July 7, 2011 Dishonored I think I need to jerk off now. Nothing gets me hotter than vague marketing speak. Button -> Awesome. Unified ammo! You read it here, first. You're a cheery wee bugger, Nep. Have I ever said that? Reapercussions
Tale Posted July 7, 2011 Posted July 7, 2011 No marketing speak can get in-between me and the awesomeness that is Arkane and Viktor Antanov! EPIC, immersive, choice, moving, realistic, next-gen "Show me a man who "plays fair" and I'll show you a very talented cheater."
Oner Posted July 7, 2011 Posted July 7, 2011 Hm, the guy behind City 17 ...designs City 17 again. The publisher supports the game post release ...by patching in new bugs. WorstUsernameEver Posted July 7, 2011 Posted July 7, 2011 Dishonored sounds like a great idea. But it's Bethesda, and Bethesda has published only crap outside of their franchises so far so.. we'll see.
Lexx Posted July 7, 2011 Posted July 7, 2011 Cthulhu, dark corners of the earth was the only really cool thing, despite the flaws the game has. :> I don't even know what "Dishonored" is except it might be some sci-fi **** and you kill lotta baddies. "only when you no-life you can exist forever, because what does not live cannot die."
Morgoth Posted July 7, 2011 Posted July 7, 2011 (edited) I don't even know what "Dishonored" is except it might be some sci-fi **** and you kill lotta baddies. If you could read you would see that Dishonored is a first-person stealth game at first, shooter second. And Bethesda as a publisher is awesome! Not so much as a developer... Lexx Posted July 7, 2011 Posted July 7, 2011 Yeah wow that tells me a lot. Beside, I've read that. Still don't know what this game is, except being in sci-fi and that you will for sure kill lots of bad dudes. "only when you no-life you can exist forever, because what does not live cannot die."
Morgoth Posted July 7, 2011 Posted July 7, 2011 Yeah wow that tells me a lot. Beside, I've read that. Still don't know what this game is, except being in sci-fi and that you will for sure kill lots of bad dudes. Well, you also kill a lot of bad dudes in RPGs you know. Rain makes everything better.
Lexx Posted July 7, 2011 Posted July 7, 2011 Can't remember I've wrote anything against that. "only when you no-life you can exist forever, because what does not live cannot die."
Morgoth Posted July 7, 2011 Posted July 7, 2011 It will be from Arkane, plus aid from Viktor Antanov, so chances are it will be special. And there are no more infos because it's just a cover and a sneak-peak, but in a couple of weeks (I suppose on the QuakeCon in early August) there should be a real reveal. Rain makes everything better.
Malcador Posted July 7, 2011 Posted July 7, 2011 Then we find it out it's nothing special. Why has elegance found so little following? Elegance has the disadvantage that hard work is needed to achieve it and a good education to appreciate it. - Edsger Wybe Dijkstra
Morgoth Posted July 7, 2011 Posted July 7, 2011 Then we find it out it's nothing special. Like any other games, including Obsidian games. But that doesn't stop people from enjoying games nonetheless. Rain makes everything better.
Malcador Posted July 7, 2011 Posted July 7, 2011 Probably, but at least they'll be playing the game rather than imagining it. Why has elegance found so little following? Morgoth Posted July 7, 2011 Posted July 7, 2011 Probably, but at least they'll be playing the game rather than imagining it. Oh, is it nowadays forbidden to just look forward to a game? Geez, some people... Rain makes everything better.
