Pop
I didn't mind the sex, but I do think they should have stuck to CGI sequences. The whole dirty postcard collector minigame aspect of it was laughable. It may not have been their intention, but it sort of pokes the entire "achievement" fad (which is laughable) in the eye with a big rod in a satirical way. Wow you give these guys way, way too much credit. Join me, and we shall make Production Beards a reality!
HoonDing
Achievement: Veneral Disease? Surely, that's all ready been done. Witchers are immune to diseases. Part of their charm in a world where sex is pretty much the only recreation for common women. The ending of the words is ALMSIVI.

HoonDing
(low-res quality and desynchronized audio) Hahaha, so the part with the breasts was apparently just an embellishment by some drunk, fat storyteller (Zoltan Chivay?). In your face, whiners about CD Projekt's "gratuitous nudity". This game keeps inclining with each new piece that comes out. Edited September 23, 2010 by virumor The ending of the words is ALMSIVI. HoonDing
It might've been only for the trailer. It almost seems a deliberate jab at the naysayers. The ending of the words is ALMSIVI.
Meshugger
Great trailer for once. The voiceacting seems to have improved a bit as well. However, can the player select polish voiceovers in the vanilla version this time? I loved playing the game in polish with english subtitles, it added a wonderful flair to the overall atmosphere. Nepenthe
Gratuitous and cheap are two different thing. I mean, in this case by definition people (such as myself) are complaining about cheap nudity, not free nudity! You're a cheery wee bugger, Nep. Have I ever said that? HoonDing
It's interesting that "saving" the Baroness isn't even mandatory. One can ignore her and her assets, which will lead into her succumbing to torture and signing the document stating that she did not give birth to Foltest's bastard child. RPGmasterBoo
It might've been only for the trailer. It almost seems a deliberate jab at the naysayers. Too much work for just a trailer methinks. The game looks great. I didnt have much faith they could pull it off again. Only the QTE's are bugging me now. Slowtrain
Only the QTE's are bugging me now. Why anybody anywhere thinks these are a good idea is completely beyond my comprehemsion. Notice how I can belittle your beliefs without calling you names. It's a useful skill to have particularly where you aren't allowed to call people names. It's a mistake to get too drawn in/worked up. I don't see the point. No, seriously, I don't get it. We had tons of games with fighting systems that never needed a single, time based button press to work - or rather, such things were integrated into the combat system, (like dodge + directional key) to be learned just like everything else. I mean, its not like n00bs really need them. Even the worst dilettante catches on after a while. And it pisses everyone else off. The outcry after the first leaked Witcher trailer was sufficient to show that. But they still persist.... Gorgon
They have a specific formula they have sold to the people who bailed them out of a bankruptcy. Doesn't surprise me that they are making every effort to produce a 'sure thing'. Apparently someone likes QTEs and is convinced they are integral to a success. Malcador
I can suffer through QTE's. Looking forward to this. Why has elegance found so little following? Tale
Only the QTE's are bugging me now. Why anybody anywhere thinks these are a good idea is completely beyond my comprehemsion. It's kind of a compromise. Non-interactive cinematics aren't always the best of ideas (exceptions, but far fewer than most recognize). But many developers also insist on trying to be cinematic. Which means camera angles and unique movies that make standard controls useless. Thus they implement a basic action interaction, QTEs. Most game developers can't even get gameplay right; maybe they should concentrate their energies there first. Notice how I can belittle your beliefs without calling you names. Tale
I'm with you on that. It really should start and stop with establishing shots. And even those are unnecessary.
