:| I lasted 3 days playing the WoW trial. Pretty much hated the game INSTANTLY!

Ulduar is starting to piss me off with the lack of cloth drops. With the exception of Ignis (who ownes our faces for some reason) Ive killed; Flame Leviathan, Razorscale, XT, Kologarn, Freya and Hordir multiple times and have yet to see single cloth piece drop. All I walk out of there with is a huge repair bill and 40g worth of potions lighter.

Sometimes that's what happens in Raids. But with the badges you're getting it should start evening out. Besides ToC is FAR easier with better gear.

Wha-- You have a worgen? The expansion's not even out you wretch! Meh. Do we have to change races to switch horde to Alliance? See, I think it would be great to have the races all mixed up. That would be awesome. Confuse the hell out of folks.

 

Strangely, W:AR did not have nearly as many griefers. I think WoW is kind of in the middle of the pack. W:AR, where it's understood that the focus of the game is PvP, didn't have as many griefers when I played. Also, CoH was less griefer prone. It was actually difficult to grief folks in CoH, so you'd get some idiot complaining about someone "stealing" their kill. What? You mean they couldn't come into the area and kill all the quest givers and the flight master? Boy, you don't know what griefing is until you play a game where they can loot your body.

 

I think griefers suck, but I also think that they're part of the online gaming world. If you don't like them, you can turn off trade and general chat and basically solo or just play with friends. Folks out in the playing areas really can't grief you all that much. Sure, someone can come into the area and kill all the quest givers and whatnot, but I've never seen someone cover every single area and I've rarely seen anyone grief an area too terribly long.

I didn't just mean ToC 5-man... ToC 10 and 25 are significantly easier than some of the keepers (much less Yogg) in ulduar.

My guild hasnt quite figured out 10-man ToC yet and 25-man is still far out of reach. Answer me this though, you know how you dont get a break between bosses in 10-man ToC? Does that mean there is only one loot drop at the end of the third boss?

 

As you can tell by that last sentence, Ive yet to be in a group that passed the second set of bosses (the two worms).

Actually those bosses are all considered one big bossfight. After you kill the third (the two worms is by far the hardest one there) you get a break to activate the next fight against an edrar.

OK, ummmmmm, for a starter game, Halo 3, Fable II, or Assassin's Creed?

 

I own Halo 1 and 2 and Fable (the original and TLC), so skipping games in a series cannot happen.

 

Sucks that they ain't maken no Pros no more. Bet EBay has one though.

I didn't really like Assassin's Creed, but Fable II is supposed to be pretty fun and everyone (but Yahtzee and the people here) seemed to like Halo 3.

 

Just hit up Metacritic and check out 360 games by score to get a nice overview of the potentially better 360 games.
