Gfted1
Fear is like sheep now. You can apparently do about 1k damage to feared target at 80lvl before it disspells itself. I dont know how Fear used to be but as for Polymorph, that sounds like an upgrade. It used to break on any damaging action against the target. I was even kinda jealous of the Shaman (or whoever that is that can turn a target into a frog) as the frog would take a few hits before the poly broke. Polymorph has really become a dead art, nobody askes me to poly anymore since you can just pretty much beat everything to death with a DK. Aristes
In most heroics, and remember I haven't raided post WotLK yet, CC is pointless. The tank goes in, gathers everyone together, and the party wastes 'em. That was essentially true with good tanks on heroic in BC also, though, so I guess I can't complain too much. Sap now works on a whole slew of baddies. No one needs it, but it works!

alanschu
Yeah trash mobs are always AOE pulls for us too. A few heroics still have us using sap/frost trap/sheep though. At least they did until we became more epically geared.

Atom523
They nerfed my Death Knight I didn't read the patch notes so i just hopped on and realized my blood strike was only draining like 20% of the health that it normally would. Now i cannot fight against 5 level 80s at once I always knew the DK was overpowerd and it would be nerfed eventually but it is sad that the day is here. Aristes
I never liked the idea of the DK class, but I don't really care. I tend not to spend much time worrying about what other people play/do. Some of the more frustrating quests irritate my guildies so much that I have a character who does the quest but never turns it in so I can do it for guildies. ugh. Calax
Yeah, DK's are pretty insane in concept and too powerful. or at least were until they (and Feral druids) got the nerf bat pretty heavily. Calax
Ulduar=hard... First boss is fine (the one where you kick the crap out of him in vehicles). but the next three can be a significant hurdle. Thus far the toughest one I've met is Ignis, he hits a tank for 20k hp per phsyical swing and requires a LOT of technical ability to get down. Deconstructor X-002 is a little easier but is healing intensive. And Razorgore is a tank fight so usually that goes pretty well for me . Victor of the 5 year fan fic competition! Atom523
Yeah the DKs needed to be nerfed, but they have actually backtracked a bit and removing some of the nerfing but only a little bit. Blood strike (i think that was what it was called) used to be able to restore over 20% of your health, the nerfing reduced it to around 2% of your health, now it is up to 10% or so. So it was nerfed which is the proper thing to do, but it has been reduced to an acceptable amount.
Syraxis
From a raiding perspective, can anyone tell me how Warlocks have fared in wotlk? I have a 70 warlock that I'll be returning to when I reactivate sometime during the week.

I have a 70 warlock that I'll be returning to when I reactivate sometime during the week. pretty well all things considered... nobody's complained about them to my knowledge but you'd have to look at some of the specs. at least they can post a stone now rather than having to cast the spell every time they want to summon somebody. Mamoulian War
raiding is going to get a small heap tougher . Naxx was intended to be easy as a general introduction to everyone to raiding. Hurlshort
I've never understood this mentality. Are people looking for an experience that is overly difficult? WoW isn't a hardcore MMO, if that's what you want there are games designed for that type of experience. Vanguard is fairly unforgiving.
Mamoulian War
Yes i am always looking for difficult experience, it feels much better if you best the biggest obstacles and enemies... Look at it that way... If you were in your national Hockey Team, what would you like more? If your team won against Russia or if you won against Japan? WoW isn't hardcore after WotLK, it was pretty hardcore in Vanilla edition, and little bit easier in BC... I enjoyed to play it... But last time i felt some big achievement was when we killed Twin Emperors in AQ40 (we never killed Cthun and KelThuzad before BC unfortunately ), we have spoken about it on forums for weeks... after killing Illidan and even Kil Jaeden we were like... Ok we did it... let's go play DoTA now, more fun... EDIT: I quit WoW after 4 years, i did not want to, but it was realy no challenge for me last 3 months after WotLK came out... I enjoyed every single day i played it before WotLK, and i enjoyed a lot of days after WotLK came out, but state of raiding and heroics, is realy realy laughable in WotLK... And yes, i play Darkfall atm, because i feel big achievement everyday while playing this awesome game, bacause it is realy hard as hell to stay alive in there Edited April 28, 2009 by Mamoulian War Sent from my Stone Tablet, using Chisel-a-Talk 2000BC.
