They didn't flow all that well though (snapped a little), but they did look much more alive.

 

Which would help in a horror game immmensely.

Source (even in that crude beta stage) was incredibly well equipped for facial animations. I don't imagine Aliens will have any trouble in any respect topping V:TMB in any other way, animation-wise. Frankly I'll be happy if every character doesn't say "Stop man!" in a beach bum voice whenever I enter combat with them.

I can't say much about combat except to say that yes, there is combat.

 

The game is party based, but you can also play it solo(very, very hard mode).

If you have a lot of Aliens questions, I would just head over to the Obsidian Site and visit the Aliens RPG Forum there. Josh monitors that forum and he obviously knows what can and cannot be talked about yet.

 

 

Well, we already know this is third person and party based, but it is great we also get solo option
