Enoch Posted December 15, 2007 Posted December 15, 2007 The cookies came out a bit too dry. Next time I make them (which might be tomorrow), I'll use slightly less flour & oatmeal, relative to the other ingredients (i.e., butter). I'm also going to be making some orange-cardamom sugar cookies tomorrow. I'm going to send them to my parents to take to the big family x-mas get-together, since I'll be with the in-laws-to-be this year.

Gorth Posted December 16, 2007 Posted December 16, 2007 Had some interesting local food for our company Christmas function. The entree was crocodile and the main course was a mix of emu sausages, wallabies on skewers and kangaroo fillets. Washed down with a generous supply of Australien red wines... “He who joyfully marches to music in rank and file has already earned my contempt. Guest The Architect Posted December 17, 2007 Posted December 17, 2007 Have you tried Cabernet Franc, Merlot, Pinot Noir, Shiraz {my favourite Aussie red wine} and Tempranillo before? Because they aren't ****.
