Moatilliatta
What did they add to the IG? I absolutely loved them in both WA and DC.
Tale
I had a very hard time playing with the Dark Eldar. Their anti-armor seems terrible. But this could be due to not having played much with them. Learning curve, as it where. They're terrificly fast, though, with a transport they can attack from. Calax
What did they add to the IG? I absolutely loved them in both WA and DC. buffed em up for multiplayer but as for adding new units the only thing the older races got was an aircraft (air wasn't implemented well at all.) Victor of the 5 year fan fic competition! Kevin Butler will awesome your face off.

Musopticon?
I had a very hard time playing with the Dark Eldar. Their anti-armor seems terrible. But this could be due to not having played much with them. Learning curve, as it where. They're terrificly fast, though, with a transport they can attack from. It seemed like Talos and Raider were the best antiarmor units. Scourge is halfway decent, the upgrades take ages before you can field them as antiarmor troops. They excel in that role though. kirottu said: I was raised by polar bears. I had to fight against blood thirsty wolves and rabid penguins to get my food. Gorgon
Gimme more Homeworld, it's so much more satisfying to have full 3d battles instead of having the usual buildings and green selection markers milling around- fundamentally unchanged since Starcraft. Calax
after playing as the sisters of battle for an entire campaign I think I can say they are quite powerful. they can pop out tier one units almost on par with the IG's and they only get better when you add heavy weapons to the mix. Their biggest downfall tho is their vehicles aren't that grand. You get a transport, a flametank and an arty all based off the rhino. though the penatint engine is perfect. Nick_i_am
OOOOO this looks cool, sys rq anyone. *kicks old p4 bucket* Demo soon, though it can apparently run on 4-5 year old computers without too much of a problem. Moatilliatta
after playing as the sisters of battle for an entire campaign I think I can say they are quite powerful. they can pop out tier one units almost on par with the IG's and they only get better when you add heavy weapons to the mix. The part that really makes them shine for me is their faith based abilities. The one that allows them to shoot holy flames is absolutely awesome for carrying through a tough fight. Their biggest downfall tho is their vehicles aren't that grand. You get a transport, a flametank and an arty all based off the rhino. though the penatint engine is perfect. I've actually found that the flametanks are most usefull as meatbags that soak up damage, rather than dishing it out. But yes, if you want something that can stand up in a fight and kill as well then you kinda have to get the penitent engine, of whom they can only get two. They don't really need the strong vehicles as many of their infantry are quite good. The Sisters of Battle might very well be my new favorite race. Moatilliatta
Apparently not, though if my link is correct it should be out soon. I just quickly checked and couldn't find one.
Tale
Is he talking about Soulstorm or Sins of a Solar Empire? "This looks cool" implies the subject of the thread to me. Moatilliatta
That could be, yes. I just assumed that he isn't a hermit who haven't heard about one of the best RTS games in the current game market, there is also the tricky part of his post being right after Nick_I_am's post. Tale
I just assumed that he isn't a hermit who haven't heard about one of the best RTS games in the current game market Did you hit your head? Do you know where you are? If it's not prefaced by D&D, Vampire, or Star Wars, most people on this forum have no clue. Moatilliatta
But the first part, which must look extremely similar to Soulstorm, came out like 4 years ago with several expansion packs later on, even sheltered RPG'ers ought to have at least heard of it. Not knowing about a game like this is like not knowing that your country has been at war for four years! Anyway this discussion really is offtopic. SilentScope001
One thing I need to know: Some peopel on the offical forums are screaming about the implausiblty of the IG, the SoB, and the SM all killing each other in the Soulstorm campagin. What do you guys feel of it? Oh, and DoW 2 would be interesting to look at. Edited March 11, 2008 by SilentScope001

Gorgon
I would much prefer to have them marching around in formations, as in the boardgame, even if it's not really what you would do in space age combat, I tire of all the micromanagement of DOW and all the usual phases of a 'buildings and troopers' type RTS. Something along the likes of Total war would please me immensely. Na na na na na na ... greg358 from Darksouls 3 PVP is a CHEATER. That is all.
