Magister Lajciak Posted December 18, 2007 Posted December 18, 2007 Dark Sun 3 (I know, I know... but it would still be nice to see it!)
WILL THE ALMIGHTY Posted December 18, 2007 Author Posted December 18, 2007 Oh, and I've never played any Homeworld game, but I wish the third was out. "Alright, I've been thinking. When life gives you lemons, don't make lemonade - make life take the lemons back! Get mad! I don't want your damn lemons, what am I supposed to do with these? Demand to see life's manager. Make life rue the day it thought it could give Cave Johnson lemons. Do you know who I am? I'm the man who's gonna burn your house down! With the lemons. I'm going to to get my engineers to invent a combustible lemon that burns your house down!"
Slowtrain Posted December 19, 2007 Posted December 19, 2007 XCOM IV (Not counting XCOM: Interceptor here). Doesn't even have to be a sequel, a flat out remake would be fine. Jagged Alliance 3. One that actually has the content of Jagged Alliance 1 and 2, not the content of Fallout:Tactics. STALKER 2. Oh wait. W00t! Notice how I can belittle your beliefs without calling you names. It's a useful skill to have particularly where you aren't allowed to call people names. It's a mistake to get too drawn in/worked up. I mean it's not life or death, it's just two guys posting their thoughts on a message board. If it were personal or face to face all the usual restraints would be in place, and we would never have reached this place in the first place. Try to remember that.

Nick_i_am Posted December 19, 2007 Posted December 19, 2007 Dawn of War 2, with a larger strategy scale, ala supreme commander. (Approved by Fio, so feel free to use it)
mkreku Posted December 19, 2007 Posted December 19, 2007 Wasteland 2.. Swedes, go to: Spel2, for the latest game reviews in swedish!
Dark_Raven Posted December 19, 2007 Posted December 19, 2007 Planescape Torment 2Baldur's Gate 3 Jade Empire 2 BG3 and IWD3 can rot for all I care. Those great series would use that **** 4E rules. Hades was the life of the party. RIP You'll be missed.
skuld1 Posted December 19, 2007 Posted December 19, 2007 What does a guy have to do to get a Vampire the Masquerade or Freelancer sequel here? Personally fund the development of the sequels Otherwise, it ain't happening ;p
Sand Posted December 19, 2007 Posted December 19, 2007 (edited) That would be unfortunate, Dark Raven. I still haven't heard anything good about 4e yet. Magic Missile... AT FREAKING WILL! Talk about overpowered. Edited December 19, 2007 by Sand Murphy's Law of Computer Gaming: The listed minimum specifications written on the box by the publisher are not the minimum specifications of the game set by the developer. @\NightandtheShape/@ - "Because you're a bizzare strange deranged human?" Tale Posted December 19, 2007 Posted December 19, 2007 Legacy of Kain "Show me a man who "plays fair" and I'll show you a very talented cheater."
Maedhros Posted December 19, 2007 Posted December 19, 2007 I wouldn't mind a true sequel to Perfect Dark 64. Perfect Dark Zero was garbage.
astr0creep Posted December 19, 2007 Posted December 19, 2007 Legacy of Kain I'd like another series in that universe. http://entertainmentandbeyond.blogspot.com/
Tale Posted December 19, 2007 Posted December 19, 2007 Legacy of Kain I'd like another series in that universe. I'd simply like the continuing story of Kain after Defiance. The part where he goes on to fulfill the destiny he forsook in the very first game and attempts to restore the balance. "Show me a man who "plays fair" and I'll show you a very talented cheater."
samm Posted December 19, 2007 Posted December 19, 2007 another ps:t-like title, but not ps:t 2 baten kaitos 3 zanzarah 2 icewind dale 3 (actually rather a successor of iwd1, not of iwd2 in terms of atmosphere, music, storytelling etc) disciples 3 Citizen of a country with a racist, hypocritical majority
Gorth Posted December 19, 2007 Posted December 19, 2007 disciples 3 That one is on my "Looking forward to" list http://disciples3.ru/main_eng.htm “He who joyfully marches to music in rank and file has already earned my contempt. Pidesco Posted December 20, 2007 Posted December 20, 2007 disciples 3 That one is on my "Looking forward to" list http://disciples3.ru/main_eng.htm I feel like that game is the new DNF. samm Posted December 20, 2007 Posted December 20, 2007 Yes, and it will probably a bit disappointing when/if it comes out. that "if" is the reason I put it on this list of hypothetical sequels... Citizen of a country with a racist, hypocritical majority
jaguars4ever Posted December 23, 2007 Posted December 23, 2007 Now that I think of it, I'd also like a sequel to Gladius. ^A seriously underrated TRPG btw.
Oerwinde Posted December 24, 2007 Posted December 24, 2007 What I'm looking for isn't really a sequel, but kind of a spinoff. I'd like them to take World of Warcraft, and made a single player RPG. One that spans the entire world. They already have all the graphics they need, just spend a year making quests. The area between the balls and the butt is a hotbed of terrorist activity.
Zoma Posted December 24, 2007 Posted December 24, 2007 Syndicate X-COM Quest for Glory A spiritual Successor to Betrayal in Krondor
WILL THE ALMIGHTY Posted December 24, 2007 Author Posted December 24, 2007 I'd like a spiritual successor to Crimson Skies, if we don't get the sequel. "Alright, I've been thinking. When life gives you lemons, don't make lemonade - make life take the lemons back! Get mad! I don't want your damn lemons, what am I supposed to do with these? Demand to see life's manager. Magister Lajciak Posted December 25, 2007 Posted December 25, 2007 As far as sequels go, I am wondering if we will ever see Warcraft IV now that the Warcraft universe was usurped by the World of Warcraft. I am not sure how MMORPGs imact the story of the world, though, so it may be difficult.
SteveThaiBinh Posted December 25, 2007 Posted December 25, 2007 I expect they will: - They're making Starcraft 2, a similar sort of game, so they presumably don't see the genre as dead. - Blizzard has the money to do anything it likes, and since they started by making games like Warcraft, they presumably like doing so. - WoW can't last forever, can it? Can it? - Stories are no problem - if all else fails, just reboot. "An electric puddle is not what I need right now." (Nina Kalenkov)
