Ive been meaning to ask this for a while. Just behind the Aliens head, on the back, are two tubes that kinda look like snorkels/chimmneys (seen in picture in posts 39 & 40). Does the lore of the setting explain what those do?

It is... a mystery.

 

I believe one of the novels described them as "grab points" for facehuggers riding along on an adult alien. Otherwise I haven't seen anything on it.

I thought they contained the gland that creates the resin that makes up their "base".

Seriously though, ever heard of Vue d'Esprit? It's like building using Lego. Box after box, and than I have this awful looking-but-helpful 3d model. Than I render it, and usually overpaint it :lol:
